Surprisingly easy to return old equipment.The customer service was superb.Absolutely blows every other service provider out of the water.This store in particular is very conveniently located and at the time of my visit, was fairly crowded.They have an efficient check-in system with a kiosk by the front door. I was in and out in only 10 minutes.

Clean, easy access Spectrum strip mall site at end of Smith ridge Plaza.There at least 4-5 employees with their own workstations!My service problem was corrected by a young man in 10 minutes easy & for No charge!May you be so lucky, but realistically the place had a sense of stripped down efficiency to it.Combine with great customer service & Ill be back in the fall.

Wait was ridiculous and excessive to return equipment. Reservations did not work. One of the employees (the bald guy with a big arm sleeve tattoo) argued with me and was extremely condescending.Addendum: After taking these pictures of the inside of the store. The same person just came over to me and told me he was the manager and told me I could not take pictures of the inside of the store. He stated Spectrum is private property. He also stated I did not have consent to take pictures of the other two employees working.He only said that because he didn’t want corporate to see he was short staffed at 1:30 in the afternoon when they are really busy.He tried to intimidate me with his large attitude for sure. Way to go Spectrum.

Check-in machine non-functional with staff being non-responsive. After quite a few minutes of trying to enter my confirmation number from the dead machine, a rude clerk Martin came to “help” me and THREW my cellphone on the counter to read the confirmation number. Will need more training. At the same time, the staff kept asking customers to use the broken machine to check in without help.Horrible service!

I cant even begin to describe the lack of customer service with this store and this manager. In fact, the only reason they get 2 stars from me is because the lady that helped me was very nice. At one point, there were 18 people waiting to be helped and only one employee! Seriously...ONE employee. When I went to the big guy (manager with tats), he says one girls on break. Friday at noon, and he picks to have two people hide out in the back?! I just dont get it...almost 20 people and only one person was helping! And, there were about half a dozen people that were called that left. If this were my business and I was known for having terrible customer service, I guarantee you I would work on staffing and/or my customer service. I just dont understand their mindset. Warning for Spectrum: lower pricing isnt everything. Either you fix your customer service or another Telecom company will come in and sweep us off our feet!

There should be at least one or two employees dedicated to cable activations/deactivations and equipment issue/recovery. The smartphone/cellular sales and activation transactions take way too long (up to 30 minutes when a customer is picking out a smartphone and activating it) and there can be many of those in line ahead of someone who needs just a 2-minute internet/cable transaction to be accomplished.

I was totally happy for about 3 or 4 months. And then all of a sudden they just added charter tv to my account, adding 20$ to my bill. And now, instead of being able to just easily cancel it and tell them I never asked for it, Ive got to call this automated service that is so general Im scared that when I finally say that I want to cancel service, its going to cancel my internet too, and Ill have to go through this whole process again just set up my internet

I have lived in Fernley Nevada for 3 years . Our HOA has a exclusive on Spectrum internet in 3 years Spectrum has been here 17 times and has never fixed the problem . Our internet resets 2 to 3 times a hour . The last time they sent what they called their Senior Technichian and almost guaranteed it would be fixed but it wasnt fixed . I had been told all lines from the box outside to my wifi box inside had been replaced and that if the problems persisted to take the wifi tower in and have it replaced . He was gone 10 mins and original problem persisted. After calling Spectrum 1 more time and making major complaints I was informed that Maintance not Technical would be coming. Richard Herbert Feild Operations Supervisor with Spectrum showed up with a wonderful maintance Tech with him. In 1 hour 20 mins trouble shot and repaired the system successfully . They ran a new drop line from the box to the living room and found no other repairs had ever been made that had been reported . This is atrocious behavior by a very badly rated company . After all the complaints and never having had true internet in 3 years they fixed what had never been fixed only fasley reported fixed . These 2 are to be commended for telling the truth and I appreciate it . Spectrum had never once refunded a bill or compensated for no service . We finally got thru to a account lady who is suppose to report the problem and call us back to make amends I will update this when or if they do I expect no such thing to happen. We are in a neighborhood that is exclusive to Spectrum only we have no choice . My recommendation is I would not take Spectrum over anyone . The technicians actually write lies about work performed and I would not recommend them to anyone .

Zero customer service!! Brighton was super disrespectful. She treated us as uneducated peasants. She actually tried to lie about the mbps we should be getting for the month. I suggest you do your research before you go there if you can sign up online rather then dealing with someone that hates their job. Thankfully, Felisha did helped us at the end.She was educated about the available services and helped us set up the one we wanted.

Weve been with Spectrum for several years but now that they have a monopoly on our valley they really dont care any longer if service issues occur, or if techs even show up to appointments or instead lie about it. 2 and a half weeks later and no supervisor will return a call or respond to the requests.

Two days in a row Ive gone to this store in hopes that you can easily exchange a modem. No available reservations, the store has one employee working and the manager says he cant jump on the register and help the line of 23 people because hes there to assist the one employee. If you want to assist help your customers. They dont know how to prioritize, customers needs. Theyd rather someone wait two hours while they set up a new phone line than help someone pay their bill. They screw existing customers and prioritize new customers. The website and customer service representative said 200mbps was Available in my region, local store says its not so Ive wasted 4 hours, being on the phone, sitting in the store and going to a store with a reservation when the store was closed yet I was able to still get a reservation.Terrible do not recommend this place.

This place was slow they have 6 stations only two of them were open. A third person walked out but didnt help anyone. It was hot in the building just a all out bad experience so I left but I have to do it again tomorrow and actually wait it out this time.

Horrible experience! I waited, with my neighbor to be helped, in their showroom for close to 2 hours after being placed on their waiting list. It was absolutely ridiculous! There were other customers also waiting that said they had been there for 3 or 4 hours! Very bad for business. Something needs to be done to expand their services at other branch locations or something? Like, why isnt there a drive up drop off for returning equipment or other payment kiosks or ANYTHING? I believe they are unconcerned with their customers needs or wants. Their only concern seems to be how to make more money for themselves regardless of their customers feelings!

Customer service over the phone put me down for the wrong time, so, it started off not to good. When I was finally helped. The girl behind the counter was very nice and sweet and wow, just wow. Yeah Im bias now and on her team. Team ****! If you get the opportunity to go see her i would.

We cancelled our internet (asked them to cancel it immediately) and stopped using their service (and even moved away), and they still charged us for 31 additional days of service from the day we got the cancellation email. They also charged us for a modem when we have been using our own modem the whole time. Our final bill was for $128.99 and I cant see one legitimate charge on it.

Wait time is ridiculous considering there’s only 2 staff working at all times. The sign in touch screen is disgusting, and many people touch it. Kids are touching all the phones and tablets at the store. There is absolutely nobody cleaning anything around the store during this pandemic.

My 95 year young neighbor was very clear she just wanted basic cable;, the phone Customer service woman kept trying to sell her an iPhone, high pressure selling her when she & I had made it very clear she only wanted basic cable, then I had to tell the CS woman to stop high pressure selling the iPhone;, the box came, even with phone tech support help it wouldnt work;, an installer was supposed to call, show up, never did, took the box back, found out the CS woman arbitrarily added internet service to the order against my neighbors wishes, which is elderly abuse, CS style.Bad service, horrible CS sales, elderly abuse...Spectrum has real problems with lousy, abusive, anti-customer Customer Service.

I went in today to switch my old modem with a new one after being advised to by tech support. They sent me home with another modem and router, both shrink-wrapped. When I opened them at home, they were both old, out-of-date, dirty, and the modem didnt even work. I had to drive back to the store where they said they were not responsible for what goes on in their warehouse. The same thing happened to another customer who was there at the same time, who actually started warning others waiting about this. If Charter want to reuse old equipment, OK, but they need to make sure the equipment is clean, up-to-date, and functional. (Seriously, do we have to ask that?) If you are trading in equipment, make sure the stuff they give you is new and works.

I could not believe how friendly the workers were here!!!! They had a line out the door to keep numbers in the building low due to covid, and the man keeping track of when people could come in, kind of acting as the “bouncer”, was incredibly friendly and conversational with everyone. Once I was inside, I was helped promptly. The worker who got me my products (wifi/cable boxes) was super friendly, explained thoroughly what I was taking home with me, took several precautions to keep her distance from me, and made sure to ask if I had any questions. Fantastic staff who really know how to treat their customers.

Since Spectrum started doing cell phone service, their in store customer service department is terrible. I went today to pay my wifi bill, they had 3 representatives and over 15 customers waiting for various services. I was #5 on the list, sat there for almost an hour and the list never moved. A good solution option is to have one representative handling cell phones no matter what the issue, one or two reps handling equipment issues and one or two reps handling cable- wifi service. Today was unacceptable for Spectrum. One or two reps handling each type of service. Now I have to rearrange my schedule to go back on another day just to pay my bill. The kiosk doesnt do change and I dont do card because of identity theft. Come up with a better solution.

This is not a review of Spectrum’s equipment since I haven’t gotten a chance to even connect it yet...put this is a review of one of their employees, Celia. I came into this store today so angry because the Spectrum main HQ shipped new the wrong modem and now I had no internet and had to make a trip to the store during this COVID outbreak. Celia not only helped me but went above and beyond in making sure everything was taken care of. She eased my anxieties and maintained a safe social distance and I certainly hope you hire more people like her. Thanks Celia for being awesome!!

Staff seems to ignore customers. After a rep would help a customer they would leave and get a cup of tea in the back - or stand in front of a station and do nothing for a few minutes. There wasnt much of a sense of urgency to get customers taken care of. When I explained the problem with my cable router to the rep he was rude. Wouldnt want to have to spend time with any of the reps discussing package deals or mobile plans - cant imagine they would be a fount of knowledge or helpfulness.
