These people are TERRIBLE we have had so many bad experiences with Welcome Home property. We were left without hot water (During winter!!) twice. They said they scheduled a plumber two weeks out! Our new born baby couldnt even take a warm bath!Now with COVID-19, we may need to move for work and they are totally screwing us. They literally want us to pay thousands and thousands to get out of our contract even when we have no choice due to work.They are completely predatory to the renters and only protect the home owners. We have paid on time every time for 2 years and they dont care. Albert is terrible. Erika is terrible.NEVER RENT FROM THEM.

Had 3 showings scheduled and 2 cancelled. Got to the house for the third one and was never sent the lockbox code. No one from the office will respond either via text, phone call or email. If this is your house you might want to find a new property manager.

Welcome Home is a company that you can trust, and that says a lot in today’s business world.Erika and her team, make you feel like you are the one owning the Tesla, and they are the autopilot.My home in Mountain Gate was previously being managed by a local Reno agent who had their friends staying in for almost next to nothing, and it was being neglected. I am so glad that I contacted Welcome Home, as the home got the much needed TLC it needed (paint, HVAC services, and a new tenant)The pictures and marketing of my home came out phenomenal.They showed me the current market rents for the areas and my home and I was completely shocked at how much I was losing with the other agent. They leased out my home for $900.00 more a month than the previous agent did.Thank you Erika for your expertise, and putting my mind at ease. 5 plus stars!

Welcome Home is absolutely the best property management firm in Reno. We have had our fair share of past not so good experience with other property managers. In contrast, Welcome Home is extremely professional, ethical and efficient. I reviewed some of the one-star comments and Ill tell you they are more than likely bad tenants. Im glad Welcome Home goes to bat for owners because their job is to protect the property. They take videos before and after every lease so they have solid evidence of what damages have been done to the property. In this day and age, hard evidence is so important and Welcome Home is meticulous in that regard. Good tenants have nothing to worry about because thru Welcome Home, weve got good tenants and they are extremely happy with the service. Welcome Home encourages owners like us to use home warranties and HVACs and other appliances are repaired in a timely manner by qualified professionals. Welcome Home is not out there to get renters. They provide a home for renters in great condition to move into. And lets be fair, if you trash the place before you leave, your damage deposit is going to be forfeited. I recommend Welcome Home wholeheartedly because here in Reno, there isnt even a distant second in our opinion.

I have known Erika Lamb the Broker and Property Manager for Welcome Home for 3 years and I have profited from her advice in making decisions in the real estate field. She has aided me in some rental properties that I own by providing excellent ideas on how to draw up a rental agreement and how to research the integrity of a prospective renter. She is excellent in client handling and has extensive knowledge of properties and mortgage.Erika is well versed in coordinating the leasing and marketing efforts required to manage properties. She is adroit in maintaining records of financial, tax and personal information. Furthermore, her financial experience can assist in preparing property related budgets and provide guidance when working in administering renewal programs when necessary.Erika’s integrity is impeccable. She is very kind, generous and giving of her time and is most considerate of others.

I have been looking for a place for my daughter as she is moving to Reno to finish her bachelors degree.I called Welcome home and spoke to Albert and he was truly helpful. Even though he didnt have anything available at the time for my daughter he was willing to aid me in not only finding a Management company that may have something available but he was wiling to take time out of his busy day to answer the many questions I had about living in Reno.I would highly recommend this this company in every way.It is so rare to find people that are willing to truly take the time to talk with you and answer questions.I have to say hands down he is a grade A quality person. RENTERS BEWARE!! If youre looking for an honest responsive rental company, this is NOT the place for you. Notice how the good reviews are from home owners, not the tenants. I thought I was so lucky to work with the company. They accepted us with low credit but had to put down a double deposit. A little over 2 years later they gave us 30 days to move a family of 7 from a 4 bedrooms house so the owner could sell. Then they kept our $3k deposit and sent us a bill for another $3k. Erika is a criminal and a liar. Yes we left some stuff there and had to leave in a hurry, but that house was not in poor enough to charge 6 thousand dollars.Through the move out process I sent several emails and made several calls and received no response. Those that answer the phone cant answer your questions. The customer service is horrible! Albert is nice but still not helpful. Because he cant. I could go on and on... WELCOME HOME IS THE WORST!

I want to say thank you to Welcome Home and all of the friendly staff there. The past two years that I have rented from Welcome Home I have had all positive experiences. Even when something needed attention, I have always gotten it resolved in a timely manner. Even my deposit was returned mostly, I did hang a few things up, and mounted my T.V. but that was expected.I really loved how everything was streamlined online with payments done electronically. Welcome Home is by far the best company that I have rented from in the past 16 years having lived through five states.I was hoping to purchase the home that I was renting through Welcome Home, sadly my job in the medical field just transferred me again out of state. If I ever needed a place in Reno again, Erika would be the first person I would call.By the way, you are all fortunate to live in Reno the people are wonderful, and Lake Tahoe is breathtaking. You are at the top of my list to retire to, in all my travels I can call Reno my home.Thank youJoyce L.

I have rented from Welcome Home for the past 3 years, and it has the most positive rental experience that I have had in 15 years. They are very pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend renting from them. A+++++

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY !!I could go into many details, it could be the fact the owner would never meet us in person, could be the fact that she taped our move in keys to our back Door . Or the fact that our lease had so many loop holes then anyone can imagine, but thats our fault for not thinking someone could be so low . This company will do nothing for you but take your money, they wont fix anything, youll be waiting at least two weeks for them to even come look at your problem and when they do its half ass . Theyll try to up the rent at the last moment if a lot of people reply to the listing.. Never in my life have I had to pay 1800 to move out of somewhere that was in better condition when I left then moved in ..snakes . I would give this company four thumbs down if I had four hands ..

Erika Lamb was our property manager for our property in Reno. Erika was our point of contact and was very professional. She was very responsive, always in a timely fashion. She handled some difficult tenants in a very positive fashion. This was the first time we had leased our house in which we lived for 18 years, and we really appreciate the TLC Erika gave us throughout our business relationship.

Absolutely do not use them. They dont have any common sense and do not communicate within their own small family business. Its all online or by phone and not personal. When I found out the owner made a change of rental realtors, I couldnt have been happier! They screwed up an a/c unit during the summer & had my family go without a/c for over 3 weeks. When I called about small issues they would confuse it with other rentals or other problems. #DONTUSE

Highly recommend this management company as they have always taken care of me and my family! Best in the area hands down!

RENTERS BEWARE!! This property management company works on the OWNERS behalf, not the renters. I found a rental home they offered, talked to the broker, Erika, about the rent price, the lease conditions, etc, and applied for it (and was immediately charged the $30 application fee as expected.) AFTER I completed the application, I was told the rent was raised $50 because there was so much interest in the home. TOTAL FALSE ADVERTISING!! The broker said she would ask the owner if they would honor the original rent price IF I was willing to sign a two-year lease vs. a one year lease. She never got back to me, and when I called again to confirm the rent price--she would not tell me the price! All she talked about was how many other people were interested and had applied for the home. To be clear, they offered a home for rent at a certain price, allowed me to apply for it, and then admitted they raised the rent because there was so much interest in the home! YUCK. Horrible business practices. To make matters worse, when I retracted my application and demanded a refund of the application fee, she said the earliest I would be credited would be 30 days, that it was out of her hands and that was something the property management company handled. Yet, when you call the office for the property management company, they tell you over and over again that they know nothing, cant help you, and you must talk directly with Erika, the broker. Very suspicious business practices. I work in business, and credit cards can be credited immediately. What disgraceful customer service! I would NOT rent from this property management company!!
