Cheap option. Picked up a car in Reno, long wait due to staffing shortage. Got upgraded to a van from an Escape, not complaining. Will complain about the cleanliness of the interior though. Wrappers in all cup holders, sand strewn on the back seats and along the sideboard. The worst was the stain on the roof of the van that looked like a projectile spew of some substance on the roof, that no attempt was made to clean. But for a small SUV price to get a van, Im grateful for that bit.
Terrible terrible terrible. Waited in line over an hour at the counter...what the heck is the point of digital check in if you still have to visit the counter??? The car I reserved wasnt even available so I didnt even get the Dodge Challenger. If I have to pay that much for a sporty car, I want what I want. Then I had to wait over 30 minutes in the garage to get the car, and we got our car long before other people that had waited longer than us! I doubt youll ever see me spending money with Budget or Avis ever again. Not worth it.
I currently have waited 25 minutes with 5 parties in front of me and no employees have even approached us. It is like nobody is here to service us. Don’t use Budget in Reno. I have never seen customer service so poorly. More customers are arriving no one showing up. Now 30 minutes in.
It was quick getting in and out. Helpful. Reasonable price. Staff were very upbeat.
If I could give a 0 star I would. Please don’t waste your time with them at this airport. They literally stand around just talking to each other. There’s no reason to have more than one person working because they can only take care of one person at a time. I stood in line for 2 hours (there were only 5 people in front of me.) then they promise the waits over go grab your car. NOPE now you get to sit outside for another hour while someone brings you the car. They have no idea what they are doing they were even bringing cars in that weren’t for the people there waiting. This is the biggest joke of a car rental place I have ever used! I would pay double not to have to use them or Uber everywhere next time.
Easy check in and out process. The counter is in baggage claim area, so easy to find. Wait was a little long for only a few people in line, but only minutes once my turn. Car was clean. I will use again. Price was fair compared to all other high prices at this time.
I reserved a mid-size car, confirm # 41538062US6, Reno Airport, pick up 8/6 - return 8/13. The rep told me Budget would give me something like a Camry for the same price, estimated total $553.07. Our flight was delayed & arrived 8/7 after midnight. The car was returned 8/13 at 3:19PM. When the car was returned the attendant told me he couldnt give me a receipt, but would email one to me. I received the receipt and was charged $834.01. I was charged for a full size car even though I was given a Hyundai Sonata & it looks like I was charged for an extra day. I called customer service, explained the situation to the rep, after much discussion he explained he could only give me a credit of $240 and I would be expected to pay the extra $40.41. I have been a loyal Budget customer & feel I have been ripped off, and insist the remaining $40.41 be credited to my VISA charge. Please advise. This will influence whether or not I rent from Budget or Avis again.
It took me 2 hours to pick up my car at the airport on June 8, 2021, and I had to go through 3 supervisors to ask each one why no one could find the car on the ticket that was given to me. All the passengers on the flight I was on, had already picked up their cars and left me. Finally, when I was the only one in the rental lot and the 3rd supervisor I told that I better be given another car, did they finally find it. I was never given an explanation about why they had been unable to find it, and why I was not offered another car. Then when I returned the car on June 12, 2021, no one was available to check in my return. There were about a dozen people standing around in the rental car parking lot in the Budget section waiting for a Budget employee to bring them their rental car, and the office in the rental lot was closed. When I asked several people if anyone was helping them, several people replied that there had not been any employees around for over a half an hour. When another couple arrived at the same time I did to return their car and they heard this, they said they would miss their flight out and we all decided to walk to the inside of the terminal to the Budget office inside to give them our car keys. When we arrived inside the terminal to the Budget rental office there were about 15 people waiting in 3 different lines to rent a car. There was no line in which to return your rental car keys and paperwork, so I walked to the middle section in front of everyone and announced that I had a rental car to return and that no one was in the rental car lot to check me out. I stood there about 5 minutes while several of the agents debated about what to do, until finally a supervisor said she would check me out. She looked over my paperwork and I pointed out that I had received the car full of gas and that I was returning it full of gas and did not want to be charged for a tank of gas on my card. She assured me that I would be emailed a receipt, but could not give it
Worst ever. Going on 3 hours just to get a car. Pathetic. Horrible. Whoever is in charge deserves to be fired.
I (along with many others) waited in line for over TWO HOURS to get my reserved rental car on September 15th. There was ZERO communication from the employees as to why we were waiting so long for the cars. It was only after I got to the counter and spoke to an employee did I learn that there were plenty of cars available to rent, but they were not being delivered from the offsite lot to the airport in a timely manner. I suspect it was a manning issue. If so, I understand, as this seems to be an issue everywhere in every part of our economy. I simple sign or even better yet, an employee, could have easily left the counter for a minute or so every 15 min to walk to line and explain the delay. There was at least 4 employees working the counter at various times and at most times they were just standing there talking amongst themselves because they too were waiting for cars to become available. This is very poor customer service and even worse management in my opinion. We are all very aware of the challenges facing our economy right now. Communication is key! Just tell us why we are waiting and maybe even go so far as to offer some bottled water or something. For some of us, we were literally stuck STANDING in line for over two hours. Then we waited another 30 minutes or more for the car to be delivered to the garage. Unacceptable.
We waited two hours in line inside the Reno airport to pick up the car we already paid for online ! Not the friendliest staff behind the counter to deal with. Then waited 20-30 outside to get the car. This whole event set us up running late to lake Tahoe, our only night there. I would have given the score a zero, however returning the car was much easier.
Reasonable price where competitors spiked their prices due to a large event in Reno that day. The difference between 9 and 10 was the time it took to get through the line. The staff was working heroically to serve us all but were overwhelmed. It took 55 minutes to get to the counter and get keys to a car.
Scott helped us quick & efficiently! Our car was sadly broken into while we had it & we needed to switch it out. he was kind, concerned, and genuine. A true one on one experience and answered all our answers correctly & taking the time to ask if he didn’t know. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
Well, I look at my credit card transaction and the charges that I signed for was correct but then they charge me another transaction of $50. plus dollars on my credit card. When I called customer service they told me that the additional charge was for an additional insurance coverage that I did not approve and they said the vehicle was not returned with a full tank. Well I told them that I filled up the vehicle about 3 to 4 mile away from the airport and I used about 6.5 gallons of fuel. But I did fill it up. Customer service said there was nothing they can do for credit. I will never use them again.
Reserved and paid for a car a month in advance. My pregnant wife and I waited over 2 full hours for our car to be ready after we checked in!!! People that were behind us in line were receiving their cars before us! To top it off, the car that was delivered was still dirty! The car even had an empty Gatorade bottle in the back seat. My wife and I missed a very important rehearsal dinner because we put our trust in budget. Worst car rental experience Ive ever dealt with by far!!!!
Brutal… if you value your time, go elsewhere. Employees were doing their best, but were horribly understaffed for the demand. Spent over TWO HOURS on a Wednesday night waiting for a vehicle. But can’t complain, some folks waited close to 4 hours.
While in Lake Tahoe our rental car was towed. I was unable to get anyone at budget to help us. No one at the Reno desk would answer the phone and when I was able to leave a message they would not return my calls. We only resolved the issue By getting attorneys involved . My profession is a travel agent who specializes in customer service. I have never dealt with a company where I experienced a total lack of customer service and a total lack of any desire to help a customer . I also have little doubt I will not be contacted in regards to this survey response.
The car we rented was dirty and not in the best shape. Our plane landed late at night, so we couldnt see well in the dark to do a full inspection of the vehicle. However, I noticed an odor immediately that smelled something like body odor. The smell never totally left the vehicle, even after attempting to air it out. There were food stains on the seat and actual pieces of food left in the vehicle, almost as if the vehicle had not been cleaned between users. I considered calling about what I saw, but I could not find a number to the airports budget rental car office, just the roadside assistance number, which isnt what I really needed. I also am aware of the shortage of rental cars and feared I might have trouble exchanging it for one that was in better shape because there are simply so few rental cars right now. Nevertheless, the car operated fine, and it seemed to be in good mechanical condition. The issues were mainly cosmetic and related to cleanliness.
After reserving our car months in advance and arriving on time to pick it up at the Reno airport we waited in an atrocious line for over 2 hours. I assume those at the back of the line waited 3+ hours. Aside from lacking windshield wiper fluid the car itself was fine but standing in line for that long for something you have reserved for a specific time is frankly ridiculous. Luckily we didnt have time sensitive plans that afternoon. We were told that other car rental companies were out of cars so their customers were coming to the Budget/Avis line but there was no priority given to existing customers who had already reserved and paid for their cars aside from the fact that those cars would not be rented to other customers. The desk was clearly understaffed with 2 people working most of the time and occasionally a third person. I expect that theres always likely to be a line at the airport but I certainly do not expect to wait for hours after making a reservation for a set time. In the future, Ill plan to book with another company.
On the night of the 16th when I was going to pick up my vehicle, I had arrived to location at 6:20pm right after work. My scheduled pick up time was at 7:00pm. There was a long line of customers the moment I got in line and I eventually got to speak to someone at the desk at 8:00pm. That line was roughly 1hr and 40 minutes of receiving a paper to the next line which is to the valet bringing the car to the parking lot as they do. The same customers in the same line to get their paper saying which car they would receive, confirmed it would be just as long of a wait to get the car. I did not receive the car until 10:45pm a total of 4 hours of wait time. Already being up at 4 am and working a 12hr shift, this experience wasnt the best to end the day with. The staff mentioned that the wait was due to a lack of workers but other car rentals in the same airport do not use a valet system from one lot to the pick up location. It seems it save a lot of time and money when the person at the counter inside the airport can hand you keys and you drive of with the car moments later.
NO STARS (but had to select at least 1). Horrible experience. Do not rent from here. You will be treated horribly--no customer service. The experience with STELLA was the worst of my life (dont have a customer service job if you cant work with people). You will wait in line for hours. The fastbreak is a joke. You will be charged additional for fees. Just take a flight. Will never deal with this company again, and will be sure all know about it!
This time was the worst of all my experiences with Budget. I had bad ones with Budget, but the last one was the final with this company. Paulina at the check out was so rude, unprofessional, and not etic at all. I as a customer understand what was going on, but the way to communicate things to the customer from Paulina need way more training. Cars were not clean as use to be, I bet you you this is not the only complain you will get from last weekend. I said this again as long as I can I will try not to use Budget again.
The car broke down, not due to operator error, and Budgets policies on helping customers who are provided a broken vehicle are miserable. I can say with confidence that Budget is the most unhelpful and unreasonable car rental company in the market and hope this prevents other people from experiencing the same awful service I was given. After the car broke down my group and I incurred hundreds of dollars in an Uber charge because we had to get back to the airport and make a flight and Budget would not reimburse anything.
People are not exaggerating about the wait. Despite having made reservations through Costco, we still waited in line for well over two hours while two of the slowest front desk people ever tried to accommodate everyone. It is unacceptable that this take so long. If you have a reservation it should take five minutes tops to confirm everything. Extremely disappointed. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET at the Reno airport!!!!!
Aug 2021 If I could give cero stars I would. Terrible customer service, waited for 1 hour online to get to the counter so they can tell me that they need a major credit card I went to get it came back I asked if I had to wait in line again very rude she said yes I told her I already waited one hour before I have to do it again she just said yes with attitude not even sorry no explication. They were super slow talking and laughing with each other after finally got the paper done to get the car after 2 hours process they said wait for 30 mints to go to the pick up parking place because they were short of staff. They think I care about that no I don’t maybe with a better customer service and a good explication why all that waiting but no they act like they don’t care and maybe they don’t they are there just to make their paycheck. Without doubt I don’t recommend this location at all.

Rented car in Fresno, gets impounded in Reno with all of my personal belongs. Everything. I was traveling for a week. HORRIBLE MESS trying to simply contact and receive help on a hard situation. No one wanted to help me, I was just given ANOTHER 1800 number to call every time I called a different department. This headache never seems to end. Here we are and I still have not been contacted about ANY of my belongings nor can I contact the company because THEIR PHONE ANSWERING MACHINE IS BROKEN. Worst mistake I ever made was to come here.
Easy in, easy out. The few people I worked with where nice. Price was good. My company pays for it, so that doesnt hurt.
One I didnt get the car I reserved they gave me a car and charged me more I had to stand in the line for 4 hours and it made me late for my business meetings in California
Extremely long wait for reservations and car. Almost 2 hrs. No system outside for the car pick up. 20+ people standing around with no line or direction. So dis organized. And I returned my car early to avoid the extra time charge but it wasnt checked in until later and I incurred extra charges.
The wait at the pick up window was about 20 minutes to get the paperworks, and then waiting at the parking lot for the attendants to drive the car to you took an hour. There was about 10-15 people ahead waiting, didnt get the car until after 12am. Wish there was a faster process, Im use to picking up the keys, walking to the car and driving away with it without waiting for 1 parking attendant attend to over 10 people waiting for their cars to be driven to them.
IMPOSSIBLY long lines. When I went on the Fast Pass line the woman told me that since my fast pass number JT528L was not listed on the two months earlier order I had to get back in line. I tried to tell her that I had never heard that before but she insisted.We waited for the car after I received the paper work, but then the car never appeared. For over an hour people were getting into their rental cars while we stood there. Finally a wonderful attendant took pity on us and walked us back in to the reservation desk and got us another car. After that everything went well.
The wait lines were very long, over two hours to pick up a car and then they didnt have any cars available. Also there was no one to ask a question of and when I called into budget with a question no one answered the phone. The car had a check and get service light on and I didnt know whether that meant it was out of oil or just needed some routine maintenance. There was no one to ask about that so that was worrisome.Rental car costs are out of control these days, I used to rent a car for a whole week and it wasnt much more than $100. Now its over $100 a day and theres many fees attached. Despite the high cost, the service is awful. You cannot get anybody to answer any questions about anything and when you rent a car, you, normally have at least a few questions: how do I do this, how does my car do that, EtcI can appreciate that the rental car companies are in a tough spot but somehow theyve got to accommodate these customers and make it viable to rent a car. I could have almost walked in my location in the time it took me to pick up the car.
We had a reservation was told to wait in fast trac line because we are a member, waited 35 min. When we got to counter she said your number isnt on reservation even though we had it, she made us get at the end of the other line and we had to wait an additional 1hour and 45 min. We finally got our paperwork and then had to wait another 45 min outside to get our car. The first lady at the counter was very rude and said oh well, its not my fault.
My Husband and I went there on 4/14/21. He often works out of town. He always uses Budget. This was the one location that would not let him use his debit card to pay for his rental. Mind you less then a month ago in Fresno Ca he did. That is neither here or there. Anyways, I walked up and had my credit card and ID out on the counter. I ask Emily the rep for a quote on what it would be for the hold and also asked if we could put the deposit on my credit card and charge the fees the cost of the car to his debit card. None of which she really had answers for. We were already on a tight budget for the next few days. With out Authorization, without signing anything, she takes my card off the counter without telling me price when I wasnt looking and swipes my card for the entire thing. Obliviously I was upset by this. Any one would be. She was suppose to be giving us a quote and be telling us the total and our options. All of which was made very clear. She then said she canceled the transaction which then left us completely screwed and without a car and unable to get another one. I asked for a manager and all 4 woman behind the counter refused to let me speak to one . They refused to give me their names. I pull the name off the receipt the lady gave me for the car i was charged for. IT has been 6 days and my credit card company just informed me i was in fact charged and it was not canceled. I have now been sitting on hold with budget for 4 hours. This was the worst experience ever. We definitely after years of renting through Budget will not be returning. Very disappointed with Budget Reno airport! We discovered while driving that all the tires were dangerously overinflated!! Each tire measured 60 psi. I was told by the mechanic that max pressure rating is 50. This could have caused a blowout and a possible tragedy!! It was fortunate that the TMPS warning light came on to alert us and we had them checked. This kind of negligence is unacceptable!! And from this point forward Budget will not be a consideration or a recommendation by me..
We waited over an hour in a hot parking garage for the car we reserved over a month prior. The reservation desk told us they were upgrading us from full-size to SUV. Apparently, they were not available. after an hour and informing staff members to please get us a car. Other customers came after we came and went. Finally, an employee went inside to get us another car. Apparently, our car was given to someone else. WE receive a Mazda with little power and horrible suspension. We were late to our appointment due to this mess. NEVER again will be book with Budget.
I think this is one of the only one star reviews I have given. People stand in line for an hour and a half just to get to the counter. With this kind of volume Budget needs to up its customer service game with more employees, counter space and whatever technology upgrades are needed to speed up service.
These guys are complete crooks. I had prepaid for a car, thinking Ill get in and out fast. Nope. No one at the counter, and when a lady finally decides to get up and help me she is very rude. I am told I need a credit card and more money. I asked why? I already paid for it online and there was nothing in the contract I got that said I needed any more money. I finally just gave her my credit card which she kept typing in the zipcode wrong. I even had a rep from my credit card on the phone WHILE she is typing it in and told me she is not doing it wrong. Well... after 3 tries she says by policy she is not allowed to try again (even though I had a rep on the phone saying she was doing it wrong) and I had to wait 24 hours to try again. I told her what am I supposed to do? sleep at the airport just so you can try my credit card again? She just shrugged and said not my problem and walked away. Now I am stuck at the airport with no car, and a $600 bill. NEVER NEVER NEVER rent from this place.
Hate to leave negative reviews but this experience has been exceptionally awful. Waited an hour in line to get to the counter. Over an hour in the parking structure. Did not get the car I reserved. Tons of people waiting and frustrated.Horribly understaffed and the employees who are present dont seem to be in much of a hurry. Im literally watching an employee hanging out in a rental playing games on his phone. Very unpleasant experience, do not recommend.
We upgraded to an SUV when we got there and had no issues the first time we started it but from then on it was terrible. The key fob battery was on its last legs so we every time we got in the car to start it it took about 3 minutes and a lot of prayers that it was going to start. The message on the dash kept saying the key fob battery needs to be replaced. We were too afraid of getting stuck anywhere we didnt drive it once we got to our destination in South Lake Tahoe. We wanted to take it to go hiking but couldnt as we were too afraid that we would never get back. What a terrible feeling when you are on vacation and cant do what was scheduled or what you wanted to do because you were too afraid the car wouldnt start again...and this is not a cheap 6 day rental. It was over $100 a day to basically be trapped at our hotel because of the key fob. Other rental agencies give you both keys, but not Budget. When we brought the car back we explained this to the person returning it and he said he would give $20 off. Whoopdy doo! That didnt even pay for the gas. When one rents a car they should feel secure and safe with their rental, not at all in this case.
Had to wait for the car, 15 minutes, then it showed up soaking wet. Glad it was clean, but the windows would have been nice. Check in was easy like its supposed to be. The ladies who werent Fast Break but had a reservation were still waiting. Not good.

Awful isn’t a word I use lightly in reviews, but this rental car location is exceptionally awful. They people working the counters are understaffed, rather rude, and, worst of all, they are oversold. Therefore, a whole bunch of us have to wait with our kids for an hour while they clean the cars. Great start to a weekend trip!
Fastbreak is the bomb, thanks for offering... Also the entire process was fairly easy and they trusted me to just go pick up car by myself without going through a lot of hoops prior to me taking off from the airport.
This place is ridiculous!!! I’ve been here for two and a half hours and I still don’t have the car I reserved. I upgraded to fastbreak and the lady at the counter sent me to the end of the line and said my fastbreak was invalid since I was a first time customer AFTER she told me to upgrade. It took over 30 minutes to get checked in once I got up to the desk. They were unable to answer any of my questions. Do NOT rent a car from this place!!
Let me start by saying, the receptionist and staff was awesome. They definitely received a 5 star. But the cleaning staff not so much. The car had food on the steering wheel and in the front. Seems like the detailer doesnt pay attention to detail. The outside was done very well.
The vehicle we reserved was not available upon pick up. Then they only gave us a 1/4 tank of fuel to compensate us. No discount on anything else. This is just poor customer service.
Great management and customer service. I was having problems getting a rental because management at Meadowood Mall and the Sparks location in Nevada doesnt like me due to a verbal argument. I was told that I had been placed on the do not rent list by the owner/manager of the two locations mentioned above,only to find out that wasnt true. I called Corporate and was told that I am not on any DO NOT RENT LIST. I explained this to management at Reno-Tahoe International Airport and both Kirk and Lloyd helped me out with a rental. Kirk and Lloyd are part of management and they are GREAT. The staff at the front counter was great as well. Thanks Emily. She was very helpful in providing me a nice car. Lauren was pleasant as well. Id recommend going to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport Avis/Budget rental car place to get your next rental. They are GREAT. I THANK THEM SO MUCH.

I can not even rate unless there is a negative star somewhere!!! We were told at the airport that our car would cost us $640 plus a $200 deposit and that we would be refunded once the car was returned. We purchased the $59.19 refuel amount so we didnt have to mess with this upon our departure. We were charged $907.00 which only $34.90 was returned stating that was all of the deposit we were being issued! I am very upset at a nation wide business would rip off folks like this!!! NEVER AGAIN!! Your company is stealing money from folks and it needs to be STOPPED!!!This is crazy knowing the situation everyone has been in over the last year stealing money from folks! You Should be ashamed of yourself!!!SIGNEDI WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

They deserve MINUS 5 stars! We couldn’t pick up our car by ourselves and had to wait for 40 min until someone showed up!!! On top of this we had to wait 30 min in the line for a paperwork!
We didnt want the insurance as we have State Farm and the agent says how do we know that, I said because I said we have insurance. She again said how do we know. She told me that either I had to take the daily insurance or the $79 insurance and wouldnt let us opt out. When we returned the car the next day the agent told us that wasnt true, you dont need their insurance and shield have asked for a supervisor. The agent was going to talk to his supervisor to see if we could get a refund on the insurance. Three days later and nothing. Piss poor service of you ask me, and the windshield was so dirty inside and out that is was actually dangerous to drive when the sun hit it.

Staff were very friendly when getting us the rental car -- the car was clean and drove great ! The return process was incredibly fast and only took less than a minute -- then we could walk right into the airport !!

Flight landed and was refused PREPAID rental after standing in line for 1.5 hours followed by my fiance and I being screamed and yelled at by Shella the lady at the reno Tahoe airport counter. Waited on hold for over 4 hours. Had to pay 350$ more then I originally prepaid for to pick up the same reservation a day late due to budget assocaite error. WILL NEVER rent budget again.
Polite folks who were easy to work with and straightforward. They offered an inexpensive $21 upgrade for a 5-day trip that was actually only $21 without any extra fees tacked on top. They also had a AWD in the intermediate SUV category and didnt try to make any hard sells.
I recieved a car that broke down on my first day. I waited over 5 hours for the tow . I had to travel 60 miles with the tow truck back to Reno Airport to pick up a replacement vehicle rather than it being delivered to me ( not an option). I am 65 years old and drove back to Lake Tahoe ( one hour ride) on no sleep for 21 hours. That was my 8 hour journey from pickup to replacement. HORRIBLE
No one at kiosk for car return with unsure instructions on what the process is!! I had to park in an unassigned parking spot since another rental was occupying the designated one for my rental! Also had to come into the airport and wait in line for nearly an hour to just hand over my key and ensure they understood that the car was parked elsewhere!! As I currently stand in line I am anticipating the inevitable charges for its late arrival since they only have two attendants working and the wait continues to grow!!! I just want to drop of the damn key!!! Save yourself the trouble and rent from a rental company not occupied IN the airport!!!
You never answered the phone. I have called 4 times and just been on hold for hours. Terrible service. You charged me $50 more after I turned my car in. Never recommend you. Never using you again. Horrible.
The vehicle (Jeep) was in pretty good shape. The inside windows were dirty but otherwise in excellent shape.
Check in process to pick up car took almost an hour in line at the airport. Fun after sitting in the cattle car packed air plane for 3 hours.
The customer service was friendly and quick. The return was easy and the car was clean when I picked it up.
Always have an overall good experience with Budget, generally the lowest prices I can find.

We had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get our rental after we checked in at the counter. Everyone was standing around in the garage as two people would go to get the cars. It took about 15 minutes for each car to be brought down as they were cleaning the rentals before they brought them to us. This was terrible customer service.
Customer service is a joke here. They only have 1 employee working the lot. Have been waiting over 2 hours just to receive the keys for a rental, despite being done with paperwork. Will never rent from Budget or Avis again

Rented and prepaid a car from this location for $266 upon returning the vehicle I was hit with over $100 in additional charges that were not due to fuel or vehicle damage. These charges should have been disclosed upfront. If they had been I would have saved by going with another company I had been looking into. Now that I know budgets tricks I will no longer rent from them.
It took 3+ hours to get a rental car at the Reno airport on September 25, 2021. I stood in line for 2 1//2 hours and then another 30 - 45 minutes waiting for the car to be delivered to me in the lot. It was a terrible experience all around. There were only 2 people working the front at all times even though the line was backed up for hours.
I was scheduled to pick up my car at 2:30 on 1 August. I stood in line for approximately 4 and 1/2 hours. At a certain point while there were at least 50 people still in line your employee announced she had done her 8 1/2 hours and went home leaving only one employee until the manager showed up. After finally getting the contract, I was then told I would have another 40 minutes in the parking garage to get my car. When I did get the car, it was dirty inside and out and within (the front and back windows as well as the rear view mirror were so dirty and cloudy you barely see out of them. Within less than a couple of minutes of driving off, I was overtaken by the smell of vomit. Your staff was not prepared and were very unprofessional. Due to the long delay in getting my car, I missed the beginning of my conference due to the inefficiency of Budget.

Car was nice and clean, but the price was far more expensive than it should have been.
I prepaid the rental and upon my return was hit with extra charges, such as a fuel surcharge that were not explained. The attendant refunded the 10.99 fuel charges as I had just filled the tank. However, the additional $70 in charges were not explained and I did not return it late. Unless I am provided a reasonable explanation, I will seriously rethink who I rent vehicles from.I frequently rent vehicles for business.
Took 1 hr to get car even though I had an existing reservation. 40 minutes waiting at the rental counter, 20 minutes in garage waiting for car. Wont be using Budget again. Will Uber before renting a car from you

Hi, my flight was delayed and missed a connection, tried to make a car reservation change and spent 45 minutes on the phone and in the end who answered told me it was not possible to change it and could not open a new one since there were no cars available, after 45 minutes that was the answer?! She transferred me to somebody else, 10 minute wait and the same, no cars and in a bad mood, terrible service, terrible response and a complete waste of time!

It was horrible experience. I waited 2.5 hours for my car without communication. I arrived at 10pm West Coast Time coming from east coast. Waited in line for 1 hour before getting to front desk. Waited in garage for my car to arrive for an additional 1.5 hrs.

I was charged for gas when I brought the car back. It was filled up by me 3 miles from the airport. It didnt need gas.
This is literally Hell on Earth. I have been in a 18 person line with two clerks for an hour and they have processed THREE clients. Meanwhile the Herz line has emptied the eight person line three times.It wasn’t worth the twenty dollars I saved on the car.I’m late to my first event already
