Went to get a service done on my brand new 2018 car. When I got there, the person assigned to my car wasnt there,as I was leaving the car for the service she was on break. I had never met her and so now im not given any information on what actually happened with my car and weather or not it can be prevented in the future. Needs to work on customer care.

I had gone in to test drive a 2018 Santa Fe, but upon arrival found out it was a basic model which isnt what I was looking for. Instead of leaving disappointed, Holly asked me what it was exactly that I was looking for. I provided a list of must haves. Holly was able to do an inventory check and found my literal dream car was in stock. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. The finance process was a breeze to get through as well. They worked with me to get the payments close to what I wanted. I love my car which has all the features I was hoping for, plus more that I didnt even think of. Super happy with my purchase.

Never buy a car at this dealer, they are irresponsible, they took more than 3 months to send my documents to the DMV and not pay their full part. They always told me lies.
Warning, I can’t recommend buying a used car from here. They told me that my used car had all 4 brand new tires and when I had a flat it turns out the tire with the flat had a plug in it. Therefore, they lied it couldn’t have been new, the service person didn’t give me any break on the price or try to compensate for it in any way. He just said he was sorry that it happened. I had to buy 4 new tires since it’s AWD. 🤬 What else are they lying about, if they lied about the tires.

Brock is a great guy, and I felt at home with someone who is Nevada born and raised. He was ready for every question I had, and then some. He was present through every step of the process, went above and beyond as he introduced me to my new Sonata Hybrid, and even called to wish me a happy birthday! A credit to his employer. This dealership pretty much ruined my whole car buying experience. I saw a car online I liked. It had an internet price that was lower than the msrp. Salesperson called me and when I asked if they still had that car, she said yes, please come in. When I came in, another salesperson said the car just arrived, not ready for sale, the price is not what it says on the website but it will be about $9,999 more than asking because they have to add their High Desert Protection Package. So they want $10k above MSRP. And his attitude was pretty much take it or leave it, that’s just how it is. So, do not buy from this dealership. And do not pay more than MSRP. Because of covid, this dealership and many others are taking extreme advantage of people with their stimulus checks burning their pockets. Needless to say, I decided to leave it. I’m not gonna be that chump.

When I first arrived at the store, Matt welcomed me kindly. He told me which part of the car I should check. He told me the information that it would take about 2-3 hours. But he finished checking the car a little earlier than he said. And he told me that I should contact Hyundai that one part of the car doesnt have parts now. He was kind to me until the end. I really liked it.
I went to this dealership on Saturday wondered around the lot for about 15 min before I got help at that point I should have left. I know for a fact I was lied to. I do like the car so I was ready to just do this. I did keep in mind the lies i was told when it came to Financing end that was when i planed on sharing my info. I called had to leave a message still havent received a phone call back. I just guess they didnt wont my business there lost not mine.

After looking all over Northern California for the car we wanted, we ended up driving 4 hours to Reno, and it was completely worth it. The salesman we worked with, Garrett, was friendly but not pushy, had good knowledge about the car, and didnt make up answers to our questions when he didnt know them off the top of his head (which has happened to us at multiple other dealerships). They had very competitive and fair pricing, and didnt try to pad the out-the-door price of the car. I never felt like I was being manipulated during the process (also an experience wed had in the past). Furthermore, things are a bit more complicated buying a car out of state, but they tried to make the process as foolproof as possible to ensure we didnt miss any steps when dealing with getting the title and plates. I would highly recommend this dealership.
I had a great experience with Lithia Hyundai of Reno. I was looking for a SUV. My first stop was Hyundai and I found a low keyed guy that helped me look around. I found the Hyundai Tuscan and loved it immediately. Took it for a drive and the rest is history. PJ Pourjami completed the sale and he was low pressured kinda guy and very helpful. I forgot his assistants name but he was great as well. I havent had a Hyundai before and Im happy with the services they offer on the vehicle (too numerous to mention). I had to take my car in for some unexpected maintenance, and their customer service staff was superb! Lance and Beth were very on top of things, helping to make the process from scheduling, to dropping off and picking back up my car flawless. I also used the car drop service through them and was very please with my driver-kind, friendly and quite professional.
Had my car posted for sale via Facebook marketplace. Through Facebook messenger, a representative from lithia reached out to me. They gave me an offer on my Car for $21k. Hoping to get more than their offer, they asked me to bring in my car. I took the vehicle in to the dealership where they offered me $1000 less than the offer made through Facebook messenger. What a complete waste of time. If they reach out to you and make an offer, dont think its a legit offer. They just want you to come in to low ball you. Id go somewhere else.
Nice service reps, but didn’t fix the problem. It’s the second time I brought my Santa Fe Sport into the shop for the same problem. Some how, “we couldn’t find the problem” doesn’t work for me, especially when it’s a safety issue. Also, shop hourly rate is outrageous.
It took 1.5 hours to get an oil change and tires rotated with an apt. Seems a little long? They also didn’t fill up the low tires, which seems like it could be included in the tire rotation. For $100 it’d be cool if they did a little more than the basics.

If they contact you threw craigslist trying to buy your vehicle do not even respond. Had my 2015 Silverado for sale on craigslist and was CONTACTED by Amy one of the buyers that they were interested in buying it. After a few text she offered if I would take 27k for the truck I told her bottom dollar is 28k was told that they might be able to work out a deal. Show up and get offered 26,500 not even close to to the 27k. When I ask why did you guys offer 27k no real answer, I would guess as a tactic to get you in the dealership. Total waste of mine and my familys time driving down there, after they CONTACTED me wanting to buy my truck.

When buying a 2019 used truck I was told that it would be fully detailed it was not. there was a broken shock hanging in haft it took then 2 1/2 days to replace one shock this was after appt was made a week prior. and was told it would be done by 5pm the day of drop off. I did sent e-mail with pictures to service mgr and gen mgr. I did not receive a reply. it would seem that they do not care about after sale service. Jim Welker

Purchased a vehicle from Lithia Hyundai of Reno. I had a previous issue with them regarding my trade in but this was rectified. The sales experience had some bumps but happy with the vehicle I purchased.
Customer Service Representative, Tabatha Culver, was outstanding with great attention to detail and keeping me informed of any issues that appeared during service.
Courteous service rep. All reps that I observed wore masks and provided a relatively clean and safe environment. My review is only provided to encourage continuous improvement of the entire process.I scheduled service online for a routine oil change, an issue with window not closing completely (had to manually line up window to make it close completely), inverter not working as explained by the sales rep when we bought the vehicle, and some fairly minor body damage. The oil change was done without issue and timely. Window issue was checked and it was explained that there may have been a recall that didnt work and the company was working on a new solution to the problem. The widow did close at the service center, however I explained it doesnt close when driving and vibration at highway speeds causes the window to get off track. The inverter was checked by service tech by plugging in a phone charger. I wanted to plug in a small vacuum cleaner which does not work. My question is can you plug things with induction motors such as vacuum cleaners. The specs say 115 v 150 watts. I feel it should have been checked with a max load. I was informed after arriving at the service center after an hour drive that there was no body shop so no one to check out the damage or provide an estimate. I feel I should have been informed of this when my appointment was confirmed so I could have scheduled a visit to a body shop during the same trip. All my interactions with the service rep were pleasant and I believe he did his best to explain what was done and answer all my questions to the best of his ability. I would give him 5 stars for his personal effort.

Tabitha was GREAT!!!The rest of the service staff has a lot to be desired. They were scream at me from the time I stepped out of the car. They dont have room for all the cars that come in and then take it out on the customer and their family or friends that come to take them home.I also think seals should be an item in stock not needing to be ordered. Then I have to take more time off work to get the seals fixed. They should have done it when it was there or given me a loaner so the vehicle was complete when I picked it up.

We will have to see how they do their services though and then update again accordingly.UPDATE (March 14th): I am changing my rating from 1 to 3, because Today they at least owned up to their mistakes, and tried to earn our trust and business. But they did not fix their mistake the proper and decent way which was to take back the car that they were only able to sell us by withholding crucial information and selective sharing of details. However, thanks to the agent and specially thanks to Tom the manager, he gave us the 4th best option that was to trade in the Santa Fe that we had purchased less than 12 hours before (yes you read that right!) with an older model Hyundai Santa Fe with less options and a color we didnt like but less mileage. And WE PAID EVEN MORE!!! :( It was their mistake but we ended up paying more after trading in the car we had just purchased 10 hours ago (the night before) with an older car and a color (interior and exterior) that we absolutely didnt like. Had they at least (least) traded that first car with exact same amount, it would have been 3rd best fix. But they didnt.Honestly, the classy and right thing would be to just take back the car, fix your mistake and take the responsibility as you shouldnt even have sold that car in the first place, in that condition and with that many accidents that you did not disclose. But aside from that, it was kinda Ok. After all, it was a bittersweet experience.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------March 13th:Apparently, there has been a deliberate withholding of information and untrustworthy selling practices happening at this LITHIA Today March 13th. BUT BUT, I am going to give LITHIA the benefit of the doubt and not share any names or details yet, until I go back there Tomorrow and see if I can resolve this the decent classy way (I shouldnt even be in this position anyway, but I am and a great happy night of purchasing a car is turning out to be a bad cringey and anxious one after realizing this).
