Please dont go here unless you have no other choice like i do. ive been going here for around 2 years and am going to be seeing my 4th therapist because of how poor my experiences were with two of the previous ones (the other one left within a few months of me being assigned to her). they seem to hire therapists that have very little experience, i have severe depression and anxiety bad enough that i dropped out of school freshman year and without any progress in recovery between then and now my last counselor tried to get me to get a job. im 16, unmedicated, and can barely leave my house. i havent met anyone that wasnt friendly and seemed like they were probably /trying/ to do their best but it seems like they are very overworked and cant do their jobs correctly. they seem to treat a lot of low functioning autistic people who have nowhere else to go. as ive seen how chaotic things can be around there i understand but it very frankly shouldnt be my problem. if you can find anywhere else to go i would advise you to.

If you are suffering from depression, PTSD, and other sorts of illness, do not come here unless you want to feel rejected again. I specifically remembered my appointment as today since my counselor offered to meet me the day after the 4th of July. I worked up the courage to get out of my bed and come here only to be told that *I* am mistaken and that my appointment isnt until almost a month later. I also tried the Bellvue location and no one bothered to pick up the office phone or see me until my 3rd try. Stay away from SMH.
