The guys that work here are really nice. The wait takes a while if youre a walk in but they do try to get to you asap! They do take appointments but unfortunately we couldnt wait on an appointment because our tires were bad and we had an impromptu trip to LA.

The best time for oil change (I was told by the rep.) is Monday-Friday at 7am when they just opened. It usually takes about 1-2 hours for oil change. They will text you for updates (e.g. when they start working on your car and when the car is ready for pickup). You can ask the rep. to check on fluids level and to top it off when its low. The same thing with tire rotation.

It was quick, I went an hr after they had opened. However I normally get high mileage oil for my car and was unable to do so due to faulty equipment.. So I went more expensive 🙄 than when I went inside to check in and the girl behind the counter was rude and unable or willing to check with the mechanics for a wait time.

They do good work at reasonable prices but man are they slow. I went in for an oil change and there was one car ahead of me. It took them almost two hours to do two cars. Imagine if it had been busy. If youre going to head in, do it on a day when you have nowhere else to be.

The guy Raymond that changed our battery was very helpful but the staff inside needs to work on customer service very chaotic

It sucks when there are only 2 cars ahead of you and it takes almost 2 hours to get my vehicle, but the technician did tell me some people called off. Another review once I get there when they are fully staffed.

Just the most convoluted experience. Mount and balance one tire, off the car, 100 minutes. And I had an appointment. Saved some money but not enough.

Theyre very busy. Made appointment to have tires installed that were ordered on Wal-Marts website.Make sure to remove any caps bcz they had to go find mine that took a few minutes to locate.And tires get inflated to vehicle specs. Not tire specs.Four tires took 1 1/2hrs to complete.Good service.

Waited till i could check with our mechanic to confirm Wal-Marts techs info and found they up sold her on a oil change. Did not perform other services that came with the better oil change package.

The gentleman behind the counter was great! After that, outside with the svc mngr is where it was a nightmare. The svc person did acknowledge me after standing outside by her pedestal. Then later she went to attend to a new customer who just drove up. I went back inside for assistance. The gentleman from the counter went outside to see if Tammi? Was busy? She said she was writing up the new customer. Then she would get to me. Then another customer walks up (male) and she starts talking to him about viagra! She finally gets to me and starts asking everything that was on the workorder I handed over to her. She gives me a choice of tires to choose from on her list. I told her whatever was on the workorder. She then said she lost it. She went back inside to tell the counter person that I did not know what tire I wanted. He told her and we went back outside only for her to ask again what she already had. She told me what tire size i was getting, which was wrong. I told her the correct size. She said she had to check the car for the size. She then went to a different car to get the size! I realized i had better get out while i could. You know,RUN! There is more but i will let it go at that. I went elsewhere and paid $50.00 more but no way going back to walmart. American Tire Depot took care of me.

Purchase was easy. Service was good. Not too busy, they started on my car right away. Took about an hour to mount and balance for tires, not too bad.

When I mentioned that I would like to take a picture of my old oil filter to find any indication of potential problems with the engine they were delighted in making sure that I was taken care of, above and beyond their Call of Duty. One of the guys was obliged to take some pictures of the bottom of my vehicle and then sent them to me quickly and easily through texting. That told me what I needed to know about any leaks in the system. It told me that apparently the last oil change I had was not done properly because the filter leaked all over the place. ...And to think that I thought I was burning oil last month, because it was low. This time they torqued it properly. These guys know what theyre doing, and I recommend them.

Horrible. My car was in the stall for 1 hr. Never once looked much less worked on. The mechanics are sitting around shooting the breeze standing around doing absolutely nothing!

Couldnt extract a lug nut & stripped bolt on my wheel with a flat, but once that was repaired elsewhere, they honored my road-hazard warranty for my damaged tire. No charges for patching, remounting, and verifying tire pressures (for all tires, including my spare). Very pleasant, helpful people in the auto center. Have recommended them in the past for battery and tire service, and will continue to do so. Thank you, Walmart Auto Care Center!

The store is dirty cluttered, just a poor experience. But the auto department, at least at the counter is simply and repeatedly rude. Stores like these should simply be closed by walmart. Avoid.

Over an hour wait for battery replacement. Mechanic talking with 2 other coworkers the 10 min I was watching. Decided to go to another Walmart for the service

Having to wait over an hour to install a battery is not the best service. Especially after watching for 10 minutes the mechanic is having 2 sepearate conversations with other coworkers.

I was so glad Walmart Auto Center re-opened after Covid 19 closure. Ive always had my cars serviced here, I trust their work and you can not beat their prices. Today the service writer/greeter Amos, was especially helpful and pleasant. Thank you

Went to the Redlands Auto Care for a oil change and was told they dont do European cars?????? What a BS line to tell me. Ill never go there again with my Asian or American cars. Totally cant believe this happened.

Tire shop was very helpful and courteous. I even found out I had a bend rim on my car thanks to tire specialist.

Kind of had the feeling I was interrupting the clerks standing time. Just pointed me in the direction of the battery chargers, never left the cash register area even though i was the only one there.

I work here and I can honestly say not many jobs have I had thats filled with people as good as the ones here all of whom I consider my friends I didnt know this till I came to work here but this Walmart does headlight restorations and fuel system cleanings um sure others do as well I just never knew

I came to get my battery checked the guy said he checked it three times and yet he didnt check in under a load the battery is bad I got to keep going back three different times to get one job completed I should have been completed the first time I was very unhappy

I have to say, Im very highly disappointed at the management here. I arrived early at 745 to anticipate the Sunday rush. I only had 2 cars ahead of me and my oil changed took a little over 2 hours. The cashier told me the were having problems with the car behind me. They couldnt take off the oil filter. Observing them, ALL the mechanics were circled around the Cadillac with there hands in there pockets while one guy one trying to figure out how to take off the oil filter. This is just bad management. The guys were joking and messing around instead of doing their jobs on the other vehicles. I would recommend a better manager for the automotive care center who knows how to run his people. He was obviously their friend and not their leader.

Went for an oil change the service tech on hand told me they were short handed, that he only had one other tech on duty with him. Told me it would be easily over 3 hour wait for an oil change. After I said never mind I can do my oil change myself, I notice that he in fact lied to me there were 4 other techs there working.

Had a dead battery I had bought 8 months before. It wouldnt charge. I brought it in to get replaced. Tech said we should know if its bad in 10 minutes after 10 minutes, he said not sure, it might just need charging come back in 90 minutes I knew it didnt, I had tried charging on two other chargers but what can I do. I came back in 90 minutes, he said, nope, your right its dead. Take this inside and get a new one so I did. Customer service said they need a manager. Takes 20 minutes for a manager. Total time spent getting me a replacement for my defective battery? Two hours! I am glad they honored the warranty but it shouldnt have taken that long to check a battery and get me the replacement.

I purchased four tires online, then went in to have them put on my car. The purchase portion of the process was great. I arrived at 8:00 AM and was the first and only customer needing tire work. As such, I was moved immediately into the bay. It then took 2 hours before I could finally leave. So the purchase was 5 stars, the service was 1 star, so I met in the middle.

We were able to get truck chains for very large tires. In stock. We were headed up to work on the mountain in the crazy weather we had over winter. They made sure they were a sure fit before selling them to us which was great

The tire center opens at 7am, no one was attending until 730. Refused to sell me two new tires, demanded I buy 4 when my back tires still had 1/2 inch of tread. They had almost no inventory to speak of. I get the impression they only want to do oil changes there.

The Auto Dept here is great. I cant speak for everyone but I can honestly say my experience was a simple breeze. I pulled in, was checked in right away, and the guy says listen for your name over the intercom (which I always know to do). From there I walked around thought Id be waiting forever. Man was I wrong! I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Not to mention the employees in this dept seem to be way more friendlier than other locations. I give them 5 stars because they deserve it!

I take my car here for oil changes because its the easiest. I get a full synthetic oil change for about $50. I like being able to shop while waiting, makes errands easier. Theyre can be a long line sometimes. My last oil change took 2 hours to get done.

This used to be a good spot for an oil change. Now it takes several hours ( I waited 3 hours). These guys are super slow and really dgaf. Two 3 hour waits in 2 months. No more.

DO NOT GO THERE! if there is less than a star i would have given them, they told me the service will take an hour and half and it actually took 3 hours. I was charged extra for the filter and I was not informed, they usually reset the oil change and put a sticker, but this time they did not. I was the worst service ever. when called the manager he was no help and he took the technician side (the one that lied)..... worst service.

This place is pretty slow...not much sense of urgency serving the customer. You waste gobs of time for relatively minor services like tire rotations and oil changes. Probably understaffed too.

I could not get help at the counter. There was one person behind the counter and she was on the phone. This was for several minutes. All I ask for any where is to at least acknowledge my existence and tell me you will be with me in a minute. I got tired of waiting without a response and left

I have been getting my three vehicles serviced at Wal-Mart for several years, and have been satisfied until now. I had the oil changed in my 2016 Soul on Friday. Last night while driving home the oil drain plug blew out resulting in total oil loss and requiring a tow home. Wont know how they are going to handle possible damage to the engine until I have it towed to the store, on my dime.Evidently, no damage to the engine, and they did reimburse the $130 tow charge.

Cant buy one tire, they sell two at a time, which took away my good tire.

Ridiculously understaffed. Took 4 hours to get an oil change. Trying to find someone at the counter... you have better odds at vegas. Not even an employee issue, mandell was working two registers and trying to help everyone. Whoever is scheduling might want to take a look at wait times and get more employees in there to work.

I came in a month ago for an oil change. It was completed but i noticed my car was not running well after and i could smell oil burning. I realized when i checked the oil it was very thin and i looked at their sticker and they put in 5w 20 oil, and yes i know ford updated their specification and changed it from 5w 30 to synthetic 5w 20 unless specifically marked on vehicle in the engine compartment &/or in the owners manual. Well mine has clear markings in both places and in the manual it is specific that in hot climates use 10w 30- which is what i let them read & i originally told the tech the first time and the manager this time is where i was travelling is temp above 105°. They drained the 5w 20 and replaced it with 5w 30 not 10w 30 like it is written in the manual but the did it no charge, yet i somehow dont believe they did anything as i never got a computer printed sticker like the first time or any paperwork that the work was done.

The auto center is a well oiled machine! Its nice that it opens at 7 and everyone there is fast and good at what they do!

The auto center manager here, Dave, was extremely helpful. Give him a raise and a high five. It took a while but in the end I was happy.

These mechanics would take little breaks and stand in the middle of the shop to literally stand around and talk instead of working on the cars. They had 6 guys working but inefficiently have 1 guy working on 2 cars at a time. TOOK 3 HOURS. And I watched them the entire time. They move so slowly. Really dont care about getting the job done quickly. Only go here if you have no other options. Even so try somewhere else...

Did a pretty quick oil change, but they wouldnt rotate and balance my tires because they were bigger than the stock size listed.

Tried to get oil change. They said they could not get the oil filter off by hand and needed a power tool to get it off. Dude said they do not use those type of power tools. Denied service.

Went to have an oil change but they couldnt get the drain plug out!! Ive never had a problem, I always changed the oil before I got out here and never had a problem!

First time customer and probably last time. They did not inform me announcement that car was ready could not be heard in McDonalds nor did they call me after asking for my cell phone #. After I was informed of charges ($45) and told to insert my card for payment, I asked what was done. She began reading to me advising certain services were declined which I told her that was not correct and I would have picked up the coins for full service. I asked to see the invoice which she threw on counter. Battery check was declined due to unsafe environment??? Would have appreciated her calling the tech to discuss with me or having the tech meet me to discuss but nope. Also informed her I could have been called to discuss the findings and/or Techs comments on invoice.

Because they allow anyone to check out there, it took me 40 minutes waiting in line just to authorize the service I came in for. To make matters worse, I was not allowed to pay for the service in advance even though the service I was getting had a set price. I was just trying to avoid waiting in the cashiers line again.

Tip: Before the oil change, mark the new filter with the date and your signature using a sharpie and take a picture of it. Ask to see the old filter after the oil change. If its not marked, it wasnt changed then show the picture as proof of how it should be marked.I have had my filter replacement faked at 2 different chain stores in the past. Not only did I not have to pay for the service they redid the job while I watched (10 min) plus they gave me a prepaid Visa $100 for the inconvenience. I should have reported them for fraud looking back now. We didnt have Google reviews back then or I would have singled them out. It wouldnt be fair to do it years later...PROS: Cheap price: Ask for lowest oil change not on the price board $19.99.CONS: Every time I have an oil change I specifically tell them to LOCK MY CAR when they park it. I have even had them write it down and repeat back to me to lock the car, yet they never do! There are vagrants hanging around out back.I never leave anything in the car, glove compartment or trunk anymore. I had my spare change stolen including $10 roll of quarters for laundry and my gym bag=$200.00 (with under armour shirt and shorts, new balance shoes, padlock, various toiletries, beard trimmer, membership card, thankfully I had my headphones with me). The manager said he would check the cameras and call me the next day. Never got a call. When I went back to the store to talk to the manager I was told my car was in a camera blind spot. Nice... Make sure you only give them your car key or valet key with the glove compartment and trunk locked. Never hand over you entire set of keys. They know your address and they have a key duplicating machine available. How easy it would be to copy your house key and pay you a visit months down the road or sell them to someone else!

20 minute service at 2 pm. Oil change and air filter. Always consistent. Thats why I patronize this center.

Went there yesterday, waited about 20 with 3 other people the serviceman didnt even look at us plus he was very slow, wont go back.

The costumer service was great,the techs forgot to put the little sticker that all we me to remember when to go back for the next oil change,the also forgot to reset my oil life on the dash.disapointing.

Worst Customer Service Ive ever experienced even by Walmart Standards, there is no accountability for these associates! They made me wait 30 minutes just to be told they werent going to be taking anymore card for service. Tech just laughed when I asked him why he didnt just tell me that from the beginning. Pay the extra 20 dollars and have your oil change done somewhere else.
