Sergeant First Class Adam Symonds at the Redlands Recruiting Office is nothing short of wonderful. My daughter previously spoke with a recruiter from another office. That recruiter misled her, didnt advise her properly, gave her incorrect information, and outright lied in one instance. My daughter stopped the process. I told an acquaintance about the situation and she referred me to SFC Symonds who had helped others close to her. We reached out and are so grateful we did.What a difference!! SFC Symonds was honest from the start. He explained everything clearly, answered all questions thoroughly, gave us realistic expectations, and did not try to talk my daughter into anything. He knew my daughter was interested in a particularly hard-to-get job and said hed keep trying until a spot opened up. He stayed in regular communication and updated her frequently. When the chance for a position in Reserves came open for the job she wanted, he discussed it with her and allowed her to weigh her options, telling her that if she wanted to wait he was fine with continuing to check for an active duty spot.When the Reserves spot didnt pan out, SFC Symonds presented my daughter with alternative options suited to her, the entire time checking and triple checking that she understood the choices were hers and emphasizing he did not want her to feel rushed or pressured. He encouraged her to consider all aspects of her options and obligations. It was comforting for me as a mom because he was clearly looking out for her best interests, putting her wellbeing first and foremost. He said its important to him that his recruits are happy with the choices they make, and that they have all the information theyll need to make informed decisions.SFC Symonds is highly responsive and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. In fact, unbeknownst to us, he was on vacation with his family when we first reached out to him, and he still took a little time out to answer initial questions! He was very supportive before and during MEPS, ensuring my daughter had guidance and support throughout the entire process. He even drove hours out of his way to get my daughter to/from MEPS.I have nothing but praise for all SFC Symonds did to make sure my daughter was able to enlist in a job she wanted. He has many resources hes able to tap into, hes unwaveringly honest, and is friendly and easy to work with. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends and family. And, as I write this, Im happy to report that due to his efforts, my daughter successfully signed her contract and was sworn in today!

I had a great and smooth experience recruiting through this office. The recruiters just want to help you succeed. They dont hype out the army as a Call of Duty game but as a team to work together and be apart of something bigger then yourself. I’m a Future Soldier and I ship out in four days, my experience with the station was phenomenal. The recruiters there had to put in unbelievable extra hours of work for me because of my own complications, but they pushed through every obstacle and never quit trying, I never doubted them and they came through. I would highly recommend anyone to go through this office, the staff is full of really professional, hard-working soldiers who will give you their very best. I got the job I wanted, anytime I called, day or night, they answered their phones, and they were completely open about everything putting their Future Soldiers before themselves. Seeing the brotherhood/sisterhood between the recruiters was the reason I chose the Army over every other branch. Also, you can lock in a job and get a huge bonus, which you can’t do in any other branch.

I’m a future soldier and I ship out June 11 and I just want to say that my experience at the office was phenomenal. This office is exceptional in the recruiting process. The recruiters are always on top of their tasks and provides you with everything you need and some. My recruiters were Sgt Ambriz and Sgt Sanford. My enlistment has delays but they always handled everything that I needed to be back on top of things. Great place. Im prior service and was looking to get into active army. My recruiter worked over time to get all my paper work from my previous station and to make sure I was squared away. If he wasnt there to answer a question, one of the other recruiters was there with an answer. If I had to do it over again, Id go to this station everytime.

Best Recruiting Station hands down. My recruiter is SSG Sanford and I have to say he will do whatever is possible to get you into the Army. I have been going through the process of trying to get into the Army for awhile now. I had a medical condition that requires me to take medication. SSG Sanford did everything possible to get me a medical waiver approved which he did. It was countless paperwork but he did everything he could do and I have now enlisted. Everyone at this recruiting station is so helpful and doesnt just push you through. They want to know what exactly you want to do in the future. I couldnt be more thankful for this recruiting station.

SSG Cesar Ramirez was my recruiter and he made a professional effort representing the United States Army. He got me in after a period of 4 months total even after I had legal issues that came up. SSG Ramirez even picked me up a half hour away so I could come do processing to attempt to make a swift enlistment. After swearing in and fully processed I’m leaving to basic training in 10 days thank to the effort he put in for my application.

I did not make a reservation the first time I went into this office, but it was not a problem at all. Sergeant Symonds was very welcoming to me and listened to my questions. He helped me to figure out that the army was the right decision for me and worked hard for me to get the job that I wanted.

The experience over at the Redlands recruiting office was an eventful one. The PT tests were pretty challenging but rewarding. All the Sergeants there were very helpful and suppostive whenever I had any questions or concerns.

Ive been all over Southern California and to multiple branches of the military, this center surpasses all my expectations. Ive had a long process getting into the military and the professionalism and knowledge of this center is what I think the Army standard should be. Im glad I stumbled into this office.

I walked into the Redlands Army Recruiting office without really knowing what to expect or having any precollected knowledge of the processes required or opportunities available within the US Army. I was approached by a recruiter named Anthony Herena, who helped me do everything from get documents such as my Birth Certificate and Diploma faxed from over 400 miles away, to transitioning from uncertainty to being more than excited and determined to begin my first MOS. Thanks to Anthony, despite being completely unprepared in my documents and not being informed or decided prior to entering the office, the whole process from start to finish barely took a couple visits and a trip to MEPS, in its entirety barely exceeded a week. These guys really care, are willing to even pick you up from your home to take you to the office, and go above and beyond to help you find a well suited position that matches your interests!

I want to start this review by thanking everyone at the Redlands station for all of their tireless efforts. My recruiter SSG Sanford put in countless hours to make sure I got all my paperwork squared away and I passed my tests. SFC Febre, SSG Brown and SFC Symonds also put in time to help me out and I’m absolutely floored with their perseverance. I’ve met many recruiters before but no one was willing to put in the time and effort like everyone at the Redlands station. In one week I had taken the ASVAB, went through MEPS and swore in. I am a Future Soldier and I’ll be shipping out this coming September, thanks to them.My whole recruitment story is a good one and Id like to say to those considering other branches of the military, as someone who was considering joining the Marines, go ahead and find out everything you can from different people about the branch you’re interested in but if you want a specific job, look into the Army. They have great benefits and you will pick the job you want. If you’re not sure which MOS to choose yet, the recruiters will gladly sit down with you and figure out which job appeals to you.Additionally, I had a weird school situation and finished high school with the CHSPE. The Army was able to work with that whereas the other branch I looked into needed some college credits in order to accept me. Not only did they accept the CHSPE but it also didnt affect my chances of choosing a desirable MOS. I highly recommend the Redlands Army Recruiting Station to anyone interested in joining the Army.

I love this place. SSG Febre is by far the most helpful recruiter I’ve spoken to. He helped me get my first choice job, 68D (Operating Room Specialist). Let me tell you that the Sergeants at 6K1D(Redlands) office must be the best recruiters in the Army. For 8 months they have been working hard for me since I needed a medical waiver. SFC Lanuza repeatedly went back and forth with MEPS, never giving up on me due to the time it took. SSgt Sanford also worked with me constantly, even driving me down to MEPS at 3 am because I needed to take the DLAB urgently before I processed through medical so I could get the job I wanted. They both went above and beyond to help me. But not only that, the whole office works as a team and I know they all worked toward getting me in. They all knew how much I wanted to be in the Army and they all worked hard to get me there. I could see their excitement for me when it finally happened. These guys truly embody the Army Values, and my experience so far with the Army is extremely positive.To those who are considering joining the military: it is worth it to go out of your way to go to the Redlands Army office.Sergeant Lopez runs an office that is both friendly and hard working.
