Cowboy burger, burgatory, and chicken croquettes with mac and cheese were scrumptious. Fast friendly service. Clean tables and floors. Nice variety for salad bar. Reasonable prices. Dont eat here often but when we do.....no complaints. Worth going to.

I love this diner! I took my daughters here for a late dinner after boating and the food, atmosphere, and service was perfect! Heather, our server, was fun and personable. She made us feel welcome with some smiles, compliments, and great advice on the specials for the day. I had a delicious wrap while the kids had burgers. She even made a fun lemonade cocktail for the girls to make them feel special. This is a great place to eat and share some smiles! This will be our new stop on the way back from the lake for now on!

I ordered online for curbside pickup, It was a complete nightmare of an ordering system, and didnt inform you they were out of things until I tired to finish, but its not the end of the world.I showed up and there was no curbside pickup, I had to go in.I entered five minutes after the order said it would be ready. It took ten minutes to get help, and the food wasnt ready, but they said it would be out in two or three minutes.My food came out 40 minutes after the scheduled pick up time.I should have checked the order but I was frustrated and wanted to go home.When I got home, my homes fries and scrapple were missing. My eggs were covered in marina which was not included on the order. My panini wasnt a panini, it was a hamburger bun, and had coleslaw on it. It was missing the cheese.With exception of the side of mac and cheese (which was fantastic) everything was awful.Avoid this dump.

We were visiting from out of town there was 5 of us and stopped there and the food was excellent the people were great I wish we had a restaurant like that where we live at.

The food was good. Our bartender/ waiter(gentleman) was very good just overwhelmed. Sirloin cooked perfect. Coconut shrimp yummy. I know its hard getting help nowadays. Hang in there guys.

What a super place for a work breakfast, had a quiet table in the corner and got plenty fine while eating. Got the Allentown special, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast, and it came hot and cooked to perfection. My waitress was very attentive, yet did not bother me and let me work.

Awesome place for breakfast! My omelette and pancakes where delicious. Very nice presentation and nice service for my first experience. They have their own great tasting syrup so no need to bring your own personal favorite lol.

When I say I had a great experience I mean I had a really excellent time at the Exeter Family Resaurant. We were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server Blanca was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was so friendly and bubbly with a big personality. I love that in someone. She provided excellence in customer service all the way. Our food came fairly quickly which was great because we were starving. The amount of food we received for $22 was pretty enormous! The food was good and the service was the best Ive had. You now have a customer for life. Blanca works Sunday mornings make sure you go see her.😉 Thanks for the great experience.

Its an all-around decent spot with good hour coverage, meaning its one of the few diners you can still enjoy late into the night. Some meals get very pricey, however. The quality of the food is about what youd expect.

Perfection cant say much more than that great food awesome soups wait staff and workers are awesome. The police should probably not target their patrons as they leave it seems as though it may hurt future business for them .

Food is average at best. The senior special menu is expensive compared to others in the area. Dont understand the high ratings here-the veggie of the day is your only choice. Most places give you st least three. But i guess thats the price you pay for eating in such a high class area of the county.

I meet people here on a regular basis. Im always very satisfied with my food and service. The quality to price is always in the customers favor. Beer, wine, and liquor available which is rare in a Diner. Clean dining room, and food comes at an expected time considering they are always busy! (A Testament to how awesome they are)

Food was great and extremely well priced! I would try the donut french toast if you get a chance. Staff also extremely friendly and accurate with wait times.

Service was great. The food was not so good. I ended up getting sick from the food that day into the next day. That was one of my first times having breakfast there. Not sure I’ll be back.

Been coming here for some time, originally dine in and now take out due to COVID. Their food is almost always great (dont order the turkey club).However, its the wait for check out that is the most painful. One guy or girl on the register for the entire place. I was happy when the bar could check out for take out orders, as when youve got hot food ready to take home, the last thing that you need is to stand in a line 12 tables deep just to pay for the food thats in your hand.Get a better way to manage checking out. One register just aint doing it.

Have had better service in years past. It seems as if socializing was more important for staff with one another and attitudes over heard from the younger staff can be improved.Food was not as good as pre-pandemic times. Waitress forgot to bring jellies for the breakfasts that were ordered, the hollandaise sauce was seperated and lad a layer of oil on top, and the toast was stale prior to being toasted.

Local eatery, friendly workers, family owned, nice salad bar. Good place to take the family for breakfast or brunch on the weekends. Always clean and mindful of restrictions, warmer weather they offer outside tables. One of the few places Ive taken my family to eat throughout the pandemic.

Soup and salad bar was clean and the offering were fresh. Our waitress was very kind. Food was very tasty, especially for the price. Would indeed recommend this to anyone looking for good food. These kinds of places are hard to come by nowadays.

My experience is poor, from the cook thinking that that a fried egg was the same as scrambled to the man ringing people up at the register more interested in taking the register apart to fix it then moving to the bar register to ring up customers. (He finally did after about 10 minutes). I wont be going back!

Visiting PA from NJ my neice suggested this place and she was spot on. Delicious breakfast and very fresh oj and coffee. Food was served quick and we were party of 8. Only issue floor was slippery felt like ice skating ring but next time in PA will make it a point to return

Asked for a cold turkey wrap. This is my 3rd try. Got shredded warm turkey that was soggy and tasted horrible. How hard is it to get a turkey wrap?! Its just a turkey club in a wrap instead of bread! It was disgusting. Doesnt even deserve 1 star but it wouldnt let me put negative 5 stars!

Usually it is very good. Tonight not so good. Meal was dry and potatoes under cooked. Out take out order was over charged they forgot the desert and drink

We moved to the area and wanted to try a new place. It was so disappointing. Pork chops were burned and it was extremely expensive for what we got. Would not recommend at all.

I went to Exeter Family Restaurant today with my family and I was having a really bad day. So glad we had Keith as our server today because he helped turn this day around for me and my family. I have been to E-Fam multiple times in the past however today was the best experience I have had there. The food came out quickly and it was amazing the rib-eye was cooked perfectly, it was juicy, tender and very well seasoned. Shot out to the chef who was cooking June 19th 2021 at dinner time!!!

Eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was broken...kinda greasy, but ok. Hash browns were like small Arbys potato cakes; only get 2. Not horrible but I expected real hash browns.

Horrible customer service. Older lady comes to take our order my girlfriend orders first then I order finish my order and my girlfriend tries to tell the waitress she would also like a Shirley temple and before she could even finish the waitress was very rude in her comment. So we got up I offered to pay for the drinks and headed to chili’s.

Was still truly open 24hrs. Food was served fast and was great. Tired 2 other establishments closer to home first that said they were 24 hours but were closed at 4:45am. So Exeter Dinner will always be my go to early breakfast spot from hear on out even tho it’s a little further. Staff was friendly and always checking to make sure I had everything I needed.

It was awesome. Very reasonable prices. Very welcoming and great waitresses.Their menu has something for everyone. with generous portions. They offer a very impressive build your own omelet. I added avocado to mine it was delicious. Next time I go Im getting the avocado toast.I felt covid safe, it is very clean you can see they take no short cuts when it comes to the safety of everyone.You will not be disappointed .

We had to wait for utensils, there was nothing washed. The food was just plain, not really a taste, and very dry. I felt bad that the waitress had two parties of 12 ppl and couldnt keep up. However she held it together and was super nice.

Our favorite diner. Great food, great salad bar. Just after it reopened from Covid, I saw several patrons without masks, mostly sitting at the counter or picking up food, and that kept us away for awhile. I saw on their website that they are now certified in following CDC guidelines, so we tried it again. They now have signs up requiring masks, and everyone followed the rules. Well definitely be back.

I had some serious pregnancy cravings and called to order - although all my interaction was via phone I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and hospitable the lady I spoke to was. I had moldy bread and asked for french toast, my waiter gave me pancakes and blamed the situation rudely on me she never checked in on me and my fiancé and we were 1 of 4 people there (which by the way she waited on them perfectly always asking how they were and filling their cups we never had our cups filled and when we asked she never gave it) I ordered stir fry IT TASTED HORRIBLE and I only had one bite and asked her to take it off my receipt and she said she couldnt do that which is a lie then because I have had other waiters take things off my bill before and after a horrible experience im not tipping because she was rude and barely waited on us she gives herself a gratuity tip im so beyond angry!!!! I feel disrespected and im honestly disappointed.

Weve eaten here 5 or 6 times and really wanted to love it, but the food is consistently disappointing. Most recently I ordered the Aiden Panini, and it was just a sandwich on flatbread. It was not pressed, which is literally the definition of a Panini (and in the menu description). My husband ordered the Chicken Pot Pie which was on the specials menu, and it was sauce in a bowl with very little chicken and vegetables, and weird slabs of dough, which I guess are considered thick hand rolled noodles. One would expect a pastry top on Chicken Pot Pie but no. Previously, weve had the meatloaf and pulled pork which were both not great. The mac & cheese was good, the salad bar is nice and the staff has always been friendly, but there are too many restaurants in the area to keep being disappointed by mediocre food.

This has been a regular breakfast meeting place for me and friends I used to work withIt was so good to see it open again even if it was just with picnic tables outside.Everybody seemed happy to be working again. Beautiful day.Update:.. The food is still great but we have found another place to meet for breakfast. Every time we go in there MSNBC or the Crazy Nancy Network is on. I would never have them on in my home so Im not going to sit by them in a restaurant. There was a fight in there one day over news stations. I wish they would put on neutral stations such as Home and garden. Going from five down to three stars.
