Ive been coming to H&R Block for 30+ yrs & Ive never had the check-out experience that I had today when I picked up my tax return. Ive always had to show my ID when beginning the tax prep process but never had to show it when picking it up at the time that I return the signed documents. It was less about having to go back to my car to get my ID & much more about the manner in which I was asked & then had it explained by the snotty young person at the counter. Young people dont know a darn thing about good customer service, at least they wont if you dont train them. This one needs training. Surely for the amount I was charged for my tax return you could invest in some customer service training. Ive been involved in customer service my entire career outside of college & I always approached it from the standpoint that if I needed to tell someone to do something that they should look forward to the trip.
