We were told by another shop that our air compressor was leaking and we needed a new one for our 2010 Honda accord which would run about $1500.00.We took it to Discount Tire Centers, Rancho Santa Margerita for a second opinion. Juan Lopez assisted us every step of the way. His team discovered that we did not have a compressor leak and all we needed was more freon...at substantially less cost. They also took their service to the next level and put dyein the Freon to track any leaks that may occur in the future. We are grateful for the honest auto repair evaluation by Juan and his team plus their thorough service.Well be back!

Paul and the guys are the best!It all started when I had another car that needed its spare tire pulled off and a new one put on and they did me a solid by not charging me a thing. The only thing he said was, the next time you need tires, think about us. So I did.We had an RV that needed six brand new Michelin‘s and of course the only company that hi wanted to give the business to with discount tire. They earned it. I was told my A6 would be ready in an hour to 1.5 hours. I had made an appointment: to replace 2 tires. I showed up at 0800 and was the first one in the door. I dropped my car off and left. I called at 11 and was informed my car was done, but due to the purchase of new tires, I should get an alignment. I asked if they checked their system and saw that I had bought lifetime alignment on the car? They hadn’t, but now they saw it. I asked them how long it would take and was told 1/2 hour, but give them 40 minutes. I gave them an hour and when I got there, my car and another car was parked in the access/egress lane, blocking out all thruway traffic. Windows down, everything in my car open to theft, but the truly bad point is, if someone got hurt there, emergency vehicles could not get through. My car still hadn’t got the alignment, so I told them I was leaving; all to the staff chorus of “we are really busy!” They are always busy, but never this bad, To end the story, I asked if my tires were checked for air pressure and was assured this was done. About 250’ from the shop, my check tire pressure went off and back I went. One guy tried to tell me the tires were aired up correctly, all as I watched him air it up; and put valve caps on, as they didn’t do that either.

Had a bad day this morning talking to one person claiming he was a tire specialist of Discount Tire Rancho Santa Margarita. He offered me buy 1 get 1 Momo tires that I havent been heard. He asked if I want to make an appointment, I told him that Im gonna see the review of this tire first before I buy it. He asked my name bla bla bla. He told me that if I will come in and visit Ill need a promocode to get into it. All of a sudden he dictated me the promo code without even asking me if Im ready or if I have a pen or paper infront of me.After he sed the number he keeps on asking me hey did you write it? I sed hold on Im gonna get my pen. then he told me that all I need to do is to write the code.Without letting me speak, he just hang up. What a day.

Superb customer experience. My tires were not on stock. However, these were ordered and installed is less than 18 hours. The staff allowed me to leave my car overnight. The following morning the work was done.Thanks for a great customer experience!!

Best price, easy customer service. I called and received a great quote, set up a time and chose their location to have installation. Arrived on time and they were ready. I had new wheels installed that I brought and tires purchased through them. Once complete the manager recommended black lugs to match and offered installation if I returned. I did, and they squared me away. Excellent customer service and great experience. Good job RSM store!

I cant imagine being treated any better than I was treated here, at Discount Tires. My tires are fairly new and do not have a lot of driving time on them. I am a woman in my eighties and have little knowledge of the specifics of tires. When I first walked in, I was treated courteously and professionally.. I told Paul, the manager, about the leak in my tire. He took my information and I sat in the seating area. About one-half hour later, he called my name. I got my key and asked him what was wrong with the tire and what was the charge. He told me it was a nail; tire was patched and there was not charge. Really, no charge for labor! I had talked to my son the day before and he told me that if the leak was in certain areas, the tire could not be patched safely, and that if I had to get a new tire, I would have to buy two. The people here could have easily told me that the tire was not able to be patched and I would need a new tire. Older people, especially women, are easily taken advantage of, so the honesty here, at this place, is worth this long recommendation to certainly use this place for all tire needs. This location is always on point!!I have been taking my cars there for a few years now, and every time my wife and I have had a good experience.Last week a made the mistake to try a new place Pepboys right across from Discount Tire, just for a wheel alignment. Almost 6 hours later, they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car.Today I drove to Discount Tire, after explaining what I was experiencing with the car, they started giving me possibilities of what was going on (which is more than what Pepboys did).Discount Tire got my car in, re-did the wheel alignment, 1 hour and 15 minutes later, car was ready and no problems.Pepboys never checked or aligned my wheel casters (Which it is part of the whole alignment). Here they did, and problem solved.Thank you Discount Tires for saving me more headaches, thank you for always fixing my cars the right way!! Never again Ill be checking out other shop!!

Recently I brought my car in for a slow leak, I was immediately welcomed, thatsVery important to me . Because I bought my tires at discount they stand by there word and there was no charge . Fantastic service here. My previous tire shop completely dropped the ball, but Discount Tire picked it up. I had to replace a punctured tire and they had to order this model in. Darrell helped me in person while Paul called me. They were super responsive and quick. I felt really bad coming 15 min. before closing but they still managed to get me out the door in under a 1/2 hour. Highly recommended!

Whole process of getting new tires took 6 hours. When I got my car back the windows were down, doors unlocked, glove box open, and lug nut sitting in cup holder. New tires were dirty.

I made an appointment Saturday for an oil change for Sunday at 10am PST. When I met with the assistant at the desk on Sunday he told me they’re busy and it will take two hours for the oil change. I waited to exactly 1.5 hours in the heat and by 11:30 am my car was still untouched. I waited in line to speak to the same assistant for 10 minutes. When my time came up he told me they had a backlog of other cars and didn’t have the staff to complete the work. He told me they cannot promise before 12:45pm. This was unacceptable to me as I had other engagements for 1:30pm in San Diego. I was very frustrated of his response and told him that they need to finish my vehicle no later than 12:15pm. He agreed and the oil change was completed.What was interesting was that I had a coupon for $49.95 synthetic oil change with free tire rotation and no charge for oil filter. I ended up paying $66 for one additional quart of oil and were charged for oil filter.The assistant that took my appointment told me no additional charge for my vehicle.Well, the tire rotation wasn’t touched either.I am never going back to this place for an oil change. That was a terrible service and I will NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Fantastic customer service! Bill from LF was kind and set up an appointment for us at the RSM location, they had the exact tires we needed. When we arrived 30 minutes later, Rey was very courteous and checked my daughter’s tires for wear & tear. When I mentioned a student or other discount, he applied a $20 coupon to help with the cost. Rey was very nice and pleasant. If you need tires and an alignment, I highly recommend Discount Tires. Ask for Rey at RSM or Bill at LF. And if Costco is your go-to, this place has the same pricing w/out the long wait!!

Brought my truck in with a tire that wouldn’t hold air. They took it in right away, found I had a crack in the valve stem and replaced it at no charge. In and out in less than an hour. Awesome service!

The last time I needed new tires for my Toyota Prius I came here. They gave me a great deal on 4 new tires. Plus they told me they would do tire rotation for free. They have a good selection of new tires and I got a very good price on my new tires. I actually called around and they beat the best deal I found from anyone else. I would highly recommend them.

Very happy I chose Discount Tire after researching many others online. They were efficient and helpful in giving me all the info on rebates and making sure all was completed to my satisfaction.

Do not go to this place for alignment!!! Even after my alignment was done by them, my car would still wander to the left and right. I decided to take my car back to them and indicated that my car is still off and not driving straight. The worker tells me that my car is aligned within factory specs and refuses to do any more adjustments. I ended up going to another alignment shop who were way helpful and more of an expert. They told me that the toe was off on the front and the toe and the camber was off on the rear. Discount tire center said they could only adjust the toe and camber was not adjustable which was a complete lie. The new alignment shop ended up fixing everything that the Discount tire center said they couldn’t and now my car finally drives great. The other alignment shop even suggested I bring all my paperwork to the Discount tire center and demand a full refund for their horrible service.

Got the front brakes done - pads and rotors. ETA given was 1.5 to 2 hours. Got it done in less than 1.5 hours. Very good.

Based on their hours stated in their google advertisement, I drove on a spare donut to their shop Sunday morning. Just needed a nail pulled and patched and no other shop in the area was open... please change your hours on google maps to reflect your actual hours. I’m not sure how much life is in this donut spare, and I just wasted 10 miles of it driving too and from your shop.The rating is only based on advertised hours, and is a simple mistake in updating online, but it’s wasted time in my life, so some stars get removed.I’ll be happy to change it if I ever come back and feel like I’ve been treated fairly.

Took my Tesla in to have four tires installed. The team was very professional, friendly and helpful. My car was ready the same day. Also had my alignment done, they have a computerized machine that gets the alignment just right. I enjoyed the Rancho Santa Margarita location and I am planning on bringing my wife’s car in.

The local team offered a great alternative to my oem tires for less money. Like every shop, they offer additional services, but no hard sell / Doomsday scenario. Work was completed at the specified time and at the quoted cost.

I had my tires rotated and the next morning I got on the freeway and my truck was pulling hard to the left. I called and spoke with the young guy who had helped me the previous day and he told me that all he could do was put the tires back and they were out of warranty because I had missed one rotation cycle.So I went in and spoke to Sal, and he really took care of the situation. Come to find out, two of my wheels were out of balance. The weights may have fallen off during the tire rotation. They fixed balancing issue and my truck is back to normal now.Thank you Sal for the awesome customer experience ... very much appreciated!

Went in for all new tires, I could see the threading and knew I needed it. Was on a budget and let them know, was recommended the best value tire which was still way under budget. They check my alignment and were able to fix it and still keep me under.They called when it was ready and before making the alignment adjustment to confirm I was up for the cost.Best full service auto shop I have ever experienced.I’m a guy who doesn’t know anything about cars and was happy that I was not expected to know anything.

UPDATE: I’m updating this review because not even a week later, my low tire pressure light came back on. I had to take my car back in for the 3rd time about this same issue. Super inconvenient and frustrating.I had taken my car in to the Lake Forest location in March to check a tire that kept losing air, and they didn’t find any issue. The tire continued to lose air, so I took it to the RSM location, and they found a nail in my tire. They patched it and I’m good to go. They also left a little hand sanitizer in my cup holder which was nice!

I have used them a few times now. Every time they are competitive on prices. On top of that they’ve always given me quality customer service, done what they said they were going to do and delivered in the timeframe they said they would. In many cases, including my most recent purchase, it was handled by the manager who went out of his way to ensure my experience was excellent. So I definitely recommend this location!

Our regular tire places was closed for a few days for a family emergency. We needed tires as we were leaving on a road trip. This was near to the house so we went here.We paid hundreds of dollars more for the service. The car had been detailed 2 days prior and we picked up a car with grease on door panels, floor, and steering wheel.The tires are good and well balanced.

I scheduled for a maintenance last week and I was able to change my preferred tires the day of my appointment. I was told that tire installation, rotation and wheel alignment will take 2hrs but less than 2 hours I have my car with new tires installed. Good thing Discount Tires is nearby me because my old tires were due to be changed.

I’m glad that I took the advice friends and brought my car to the Discount Tire Center. They are most courteous and efficient. I did get the extra necessary services the technician recommended at a fair price. Their waiting area and restroom are very clean too
