Ive been a patient of Dr. Levins and West Dermatology for a few years now. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Wait times are usually very short to see the doctor.Dr. Levin is attentive, caring and takes the time to explain in detail what will take place during the visit.

It’s a clean organized environment and they respect your time and not make you wait very long at all for the doctor to come see you in their rooms. This was my second visit at West Dermatology. I love the doctors and the staff. Everyone there was so nice and comforting. I went in today for my annual body check up and had some minor area freezes which I thought would hurt more than it did. I also tried Botox for the first time. I was anticipating it to hurt and was amazed it just felt like a small pin poke. I’m excited to see the results within a week or so as advise.If you’re looking for a dermatologist or personal skin care I highly recommend West Dermatology.

The bedside manner of dr.Karavan is not the most pleasing. She recommended me to mask the scar left on my leg after biopsy using concealer or foundation 1 month after she did molls biopsy and left 3 size bigger scars than the size of the molls before it ☹️.Its been 7 months and the scar on my leg is big and visible.

I had a squamous cell melanoma patch removed from my forehead by Dr Levin. Dr Levin was very informative, exacting, and talented. I would recommend her to anyone. Her assistant Sofia was also very helpful capable.

The doctors at West Dermatology are professional and caring. They keep you informed about what they’re doing the entire time you’re in the examination room. They brief you on what you need to do after the procedure and make sure that you have the necessary information to do it correctly.

Saw Dr. Karavan. Had two cysts removed here. Was very concerned about scarring and keloiding. I didnt keloid, which was good, however the scar they left on my neck was way bigger than they said would happen. Was very not happy about that. I also removed a cyst on my face and the doctor literally just used her tool to punch the cyst but did nothing more to make sure it doesnt come back. Now the cyst on my face is twice as big. I think she was too busy talking to an assistant or fellow doctor who was watching the procedure and was clearly in a rush. I could tell she didnt take her time to make sure everything was out of there. I honestly feel like she didnt have the expertise in simple cyst removal on both cysts and am scared to give her another chance to remove the cyst on my face. I will get the cyst removed again, however, not here. I do not have anything against this office, but I am really disappointed in the results.

I had a peel done at this office and they burnt the skin on my chin. My skin looked so awful that everyone was asking me what was wrong. When I called the nurse who performed the procedure and sent her photos.; she asked me to make an appointment with one of the doctors.I made an appointment and went in. I was prescribed hydroquinone ($70) which they sold me. The doctor that I saw (dr Karavan) basically had no idea what the nurse who does the procedure gives patients after the procedure as far as sunscreen, face wash, etc. she disagreed with everything I was using - provided by her own office!!!I just received a bill for $101.08 - my responsibility after insurance also paid them.I cannot believe that they first completely jacked up my face for which I paid $300, and then proceeded to tell me to come in to fix the mess they created and charged me.Stay away from this office.
