I have been using this location for about a year now and each time the service is great, the car is ready and clean. The inspection process is thorough. Overall, I have been very impressed with this Hertz location and will continue to rent from them for my business and personal needs.
Worst car rental experience EVER. Arrived on time to pick up my economy car, manager told me they did not have one even though I had confirmed and paid. Told me I would either have to wait an hour or two for one or I could have a slightly larger car for an extra 40% over the payment I already made. I explained that this was bait and switch or extortion and it was unfair and possibly illegal but she was very unsympathetic and did not care at all.Anyway I chose to wait for the car since I had no way to get back home and I was there for over 2 hours before I started talking to the manager of the auto dealership that shared the same building. He explained to me that the Hertz manager, Abby, had already informed him that I was not getting a car and I would have to find a way to get home - even though she knew I was dropped off there. She did not even tell me, she just let me figure that out on my own...The entire time I was there (2+ hours) I was on the phone with Hertz. One of the supervisors at Hertz CS, Jake, offered me a 50 cent reduction to the more expensive rental price to compensate me for waiting and being on hold for 1.5 hrs. That is correct, a half of a dollar for 90 minutes of waiting. They would not even arrange to have me transported back home due to THEIR ERROR.There is a reason why over 50% of the people in California want to leave this state and it is because of people like the immature and unsympathetic manager at this Hertz rental location. I will never, ever rent from Hertz again, or any of their affiliates, ever again.
Have reserved online here only for them to call last minute stating they don’t have any vehicles. This has happened on numerous occasions. The challenge is the other local Hertz has no overnight parking. Hertz used to be a reputable and dependable brand, but they are proving unreliable.
Made a reservation online on Friday for a car Monday. Get to the location on time to pick up the car and was told the car needed an oil change and I would have to wait. No ETA or information of any kind. I asked if I could upgrade or downgrade to get a car right away since I had over an hour drive and wanted to avoid traffic but they said they had no cars available. Its now 45 minutes past my pick up time and still no word. Very poor customer service.

Excellent customer service, they are limited on vehicles but I have not been disappointed yet.
