Mediocre experience, it was very difficult to get ahold of the technician. Speed and quality of the wifi was decent. It was mostly the bad router that I got sold, and the terrible response time and professionalism that this company displayed.

Where can I start!? Well I know I have been a very tough customer but they have responded and helped me even if I have been too much to deal with! Very professional and very knowledgeable! I’m very happy with the service so happy to get rid of horrible Viasat! Thanks again guys!

I actually paid a down payment for an appointment with a satellite company because (supposedly) that was my only option for my remote home location. I happened to remember seeing this companys advert and thought what the heck, and gave it a try. After my first phone call with CamTech, I immediately canceled my previous appointment and bought a router on Amazon and waited patiently for a few days for our installation (they are BUSY, which is a good thing!). We are so very glad we found this company, we have FAST and RELIABLE internet for all of our needs. Its been about a week since our fast, knowledgeable and very helpful installer came out and we couldnt be more pleased. Great customer service!

This service was great. I could play games and it was affordable. However we were sent an email that the owner could no longer service our area. This was a big problem since the other options in our area cost twice as much and can barely handle a YouTube video.I changed my rating because we were not even given a 30 day notice, and our internet was shut off before our normal payment date.We were not late, we had not missed a payment, so it was not our fault. I understand that this company had no choice, but more of a warning would have been nice.I highly suggest this company but only if you do not live too far out away from towns.

When I use one TV, two computers and three mobile phones at the same time, it is still as fast as lightning. It is better than several other companies I have used before. Julian came out to my home and spent at least an hour and a half talking to me and showed me the different speeds that I can get at my house on top of Vulcan mountain the service has been great so far have had no issues with zero lag or downtime I play multiple online games and the service is phenomenal I definitely recommend this to anybody looking for great internet access and rural areas when satellite is not an option trust me on this I have ViaSat with the highest speed possible at double the price of the service camtech offers ViaSat service is horrible their customer service is horrible as well thank you Camtech for providing me with great internet service

Weve lived in a rural valley of Ramona for over 38 years now. We first had phone line, then Satellite, then switched to Radio Signal about 12 years ago. Each switch was a great improvement, but as our Internet usage increased so did the delay times. When Normando came out in early October 2020 he discovered that we have a line of sight to Mount Woodson in the back corner of our acre. He explained that he was unsure about our area, but if we could obtain a signal from Mt. Woodson our speeds would increase 10 fold. He came out a couple of weeks later after we had installed a 10 foot pole in the back corner of our lot and then discovered that there was a rock on Mt. Woodson in our line of sight. Within about 15 minutes, he accessed other options and set us up with ATTs 20Mbps Down/10Mbs Upload for $75 a month. He explained that while other companies would sell us a max of 20Mbps, he actually would be sending us higher speeds (todays download is 26.22, upload 13.81, 25 latency) for the 20Mbps package. He downloaded the Speedtest app on all 7 of our devices so we could assess in real time the performance of our connection. He charged us just the cost of a new WiFi router he had on hand and quickly installed it with a much more powerful signal through out our home so we can now watch movies on our Smart TV! Our previous provider sold us a 20Mbps subscription that our actual speeds never attained to. CamTechs policy is to undersell and over deliver on actual download speed which is very commendable!

Cam tech broadband has changed by opinion of living in Ramona. Before them I wasn’t able to get any substantial internet here. They have changed my opinion and I’m throughly excited to be able and do my work from home now. Great service and communication

We had several companies come out to our place in back country of Ramona, take look and say, they could not service us because of our location. Called CamTech in one day and they had tech come out the next day. Normando was awesome; he had to get a little creative but had us up and running within less than an hour. So far, we have not had any problems with connectivity and we can stream in 4K. Did I mentioned that I could stream in 4K?

Camtech Broadband has been a game changer for us in rural Ramona (Mt. Woodson area). We were with another (local) company which charged just as much and gave very little in terms of speed (15Mb down, which was unreliable). I highly recommend Camtech and have been telling my friends about them. I work in tech, and working from home my speed up/down has been reliant.Normando came out the next day after I used online appointment booker, and installed right away. He scoped the site and found the best spot, and had us and running in an hour. I have called a few times and he has always been responsive and polite.All in all solid 10/10 - hard to find internet companies these days that care about people!

I’ve been paying hundreds for the fastest speed with cable...but it never occurred to me to check what speed I was getting. On a Saturday morning at 8a I was only getting 10-21 mbps. So I called CAMTEC. Half the price, he followed up 2x to make sure we were happy, and I am getting 5x-10x the speed I was before. I am so happy. Wish I had switched sooner!

I am a very happy customer. Highly recommended.I live remotely and was previously limited to Satellite Internet which did not work very well but I thought was the only option.CamTech Broadband was able to get me five times the download speed with no satellite latency for about $25 less per month and with no maximum usage limit. To say I am very happy would be an understatement.The latency with the satellite was a particular problem because I do not get cell signal at my home so I must use wifi and clients and others were complaining that my calls were so fragmented as to be unintelligible. That problem disappeared with Camtech Broadband.I am now streaming in high definition and my phone calls are like normal phone calls with no latency. My contacts are super excited.

Normando is Awesome! Very professional service. Living in Santa Ysabel we had Visat and could not stream anything, couldnt connect outside of the home, and if someone else was using that internet good luck. We havent been able to watch a movie all the way through without buffing 100 times in a year. I called Normando and he said he had a solution for better internet at faster speeds and alot less than what I was paying. He delivered on that. We can now stream movies, use our phones and my son can even play games all on line. I highly recommend Normando and lthis service.

Happy we changed over to CamTech Broadband over the weekend. Before, we had a satellite provider here at Pauma Valley and their speed was terrible. Additionally, we were limited to 10gb a month. After that we were throttled down and if we wanted more speed on our downloads, we have to buy more. Plus, when we changed over, the customer assistance was great and the installation went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this service.

We live in a rural area and have been successful in getting wifi in our main house but were unable to get a signal to our guesthouse. Our tenant is working from home now and wifi is mandatory. We had three other companies out to test her house but all failed to connect to a signal. Normando came out just a few days after our call and was able to get excellent coverage in the guesthouse so we decided to replace what we had in the main house. No more buffering on Prime or Netflix and with three of us working from home the service is seamless. The install was FREE and Normando was done in less than an hour. Also, NO contracts! Cox does not service my new address and AT&T would only offer 5mbps DSL. (Welcome to 1997) I began researching and trying out alternative ISPs: Satellite offered decent theoretical speeds but I was hesitant due to latency/upload speed issues that would negatively impact gaming. I next tried another third party LTE provider (aside from data caps and network prioritization concerns), I was unable to get anything above 6mbps (averaging around 3).I had almost given up when someone recommended I try CamTech. To be honest, I did not have much hope and was skeptical when Normando arrived and proclaimed he should be able to get me around 40mbps. He was extremely professional and respectful of property while installing his equipment. He also offered a free trial period to make sure his service was the right fit for our needs. (He clearly places customer service first)After approximately 10 days, I have had zero issues with connectivity and am consistently getting 55mbps down and approximately 15mbps up. I am able to stream and game again; I could not be happier. Thank you CamTech!

I have been pleasantly surprised with the service CamTech provides. We received same day service on a weekend (which is unheard of) after having a limited choice of providers in our area. Installation was quick and clean. The service is not yet perfected but it has been really good considering our use. We have two gamers in the house playing simultaneously and usually have at least a laptop and two phones running on it all at once at any given time. It has great speed however will occasionally drop offline and then come back. My guess is weather & winds are a factor (we are in a more rural part of Escondido). I would not necessarily attribute this to the service itself and haven’t yet reached out to confirm. I would absolutely recommend CamTech’s internet services as we have been very happy thus far!

We switched from a provider that was giving us around 10mb down two weeks ago. After switching to CamTech, we now get around 70mb down and don’t have the latency issues we were experiencing with the old provider. The installation process was quick and smooth and Normando was very friendly and helpful. Can not recommend CamTech enough for rural homes!

I live out in the boonies between Ramona and Santa Ysabel. I have been using my cellular hotspot for internet for the last 5 years.With a 15GB monthly limit, which means no streaming and little to no updates on my games or computer. My only other option was satellite and its expensive and has very low monthly limits as well. I got a card in the mail from CamTech and setup an appointment through their website thinking that I wouldnt be able to get service where I live. Normando came out a few days later and was able to get me a 15mbps down connection with no monthly limit. I can stream HD video, play games online with no lag, and download with no worries of running over a bandwidth limit. I previously tried another local company offering similar options as CamTech but they wouldnt even come out to the house to see if they could get a signal. Normando at CamTech was extremely polite and prompt. I highly recommend his service to anyone looking for a good internet connection in town or not.

Luckily, I found CamTech Broadband and I must say that the internet speed went beyond my expectations. I actually see no difference in speed versus the high speed internet I received from Cox Communications in Phoenix, AZ which I got the highest speed available. We recently moved to Ramona from the Clairemont area of San Diego and discovered that none of the usual internet providers offered service in the Dos Picos Park area. Since I work from home and my kids are all homeschooled, internet was a dealbreaker for our daily life. Thankfully, Normando came highly recommended by our property manager.I asked Normando if he could come out and determine if he can get service in this area before I signed a lease on the property. Im very pleased to have found CamTech Broadband and their wireless internet services. I live in a rural area East of Ramona, so cable and DSL is not available. This has previously left me using sub-standard internet services like satellite and dedicated radio link type services, and/or limited wireless data plans with high prices and even higher penalties when I did go over the plan limit (like with hotspot type services).Ive given it a couple weeks now and run multiple tests and everything is working great! HD streaming, VPN, multiple users with multiple connections and no compromises or limits! Im averaging 30-40 Mbps downloads all the time, and 12-35 Mbps uploads... and thats in a weak cellular reception area where I have to have a wireless phone booster mounted in my house to get 2 bars on my cell phones! Ive already cancelled my old plan with a competitor!I highly recommend you give them a try. Their prices are very competitive for what you get!
