Drop off location at the Shell Station. Parking is super tight and the parking lot stays crowded. There is a night drop box which was convenient. Would not drop off at this location again. The Departure Drive location is less stressful.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. This site reported damage to the truck that they had noted in my account prior to me taking it. They then reported it and within 2 weeks - with NO communication to me - sent it to a collection agency. 12 plus hours later and probably 10 email si finally resolved the issue. They dont answer their phone as well....which wouldve been nice for them to fix their F*** up.Zero stars. Awful business.

Rented a truck from this place and drove it 60 miles max. These mfs tried to say I drove 159 miles..... for a local move. This place is shady as hell. The truck was gross and there were blunt wrap wrappers left in it.

Dont even bother booking a reservation. We booked over a month in advance and the location basically told us tough luck as they had already rented out their fleet to UPS and FedEx. We contacted the 1-800 number and they said they would work to find a truck near us and get back to us in the next 15 minutes to 4 hours. We never heard back aside from the email confirming a cancellation of our reservation that we did not request. Go elsewhere.

We reserved a 26’ truck to be picked up at 12pm today and much to our surprise they didn’t have the truck. They guy said it would there by 5pm but he never even called us back. We are moving from NC to GA and this was our 2nd trip back to NC for the move. We had already hired movers to come help us load so we had to cancel them because of Budget. We called customer service and they kept hanging up on us or telling us that they were looking for a truck near by. Instead of finding our truck they canceled our reservation.Never heard back from the manager or the guy at this location for an update. We ended up calling Penske and they were amazing!! She called the regional manager and they are having a truck brought from another state for our move!! DON’T USE BUDGET!!! Call Penske if you want great customer service, better prices and a Truck when you need it!

I reserved a 16ft truck from here. I drove 1hr to pick it up only for them to tell me that the previous guy hasn’t brought it back yet. He has no other trucks we could use. He said we can come back tomorrow and get the truck for the same price (even though we will have it a shorter time period). Freaking horrible

I secured a confirmation to pick up a truck on September 3rd at the New Bern Ave location. I arrived at my appointment time 1pm only to be told they where closed due to the holiday. I asked why “Budget” would allow me to even make the reservation if there was no availability. The man simply said “that’s on them”. Well thanks for nothing!!! Don’t rent here!!!

Rented trucks here 3 times and each time swear it should be my last. Pros the convenience store is good for hours/availability but the cons are the place is very disorganized - usually with a long wait and they dont clean the trucks after each use. My last truck looked like a farmer had used the truck to move soybeans...

I made a reservation three weeks prior to my appointment and upon arriving, one of the employees hands me his personal cell to speak to the owner. The owner informed that since he was out of town, despite me reserving the 26 box truck and trailer three weeks in advance, his Budget dealership was closed for the weekend and that I needed to call Budget customer service to rectify my reservation. We live in Garner and my wife dropped me off at 0800 at 3704 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610 on her way to work. I called Budget and spoke to two customer service representatives who informed me that their managers would have to review my situation and then call me back. Mind you, this address is in a horrible section of town and three bums hit me up for cash as I was walking around speaking to Budget. After an hour wasted and no Budget manager returning my calls, I paid $25 for an Uber to drive me home. The owner never apologized, never accepted responsibility, nor did anything to help me with my delimia. What was funny was that one of the owners employees at the Shell gas station pulled the 26 truck up and had the truck ready to go for me to drive off, trailer and all. The employee said I was good - they already had my drivers license info and AMEX on file - once they spoke to their boss.Im truly an easy person to get along with, but since I had less than 48 hours to move everything out of our 2500 sq ft home, time was against us. It took me four hours to find, rent, and pickup a 26 truck from Uhaul. Since my wife was at work and I had no vehicle, I had to pay for another Uber ride to Uhaul.The WORST customer service I have ever dealt with and will NEVER spend my money at Budget!!!!!
