Am a retired Director of Safety, Health, Environmental and Facilities Management for a Division of a Fortune 200 company who was based in the Triangle. I had plants on 4 continents plus I handled all facilities including new plant construction, demolition, relocation and all facilities oversight. Recently I decided to have two large trees removed that were beyond my skill set, as well as my “muscle” as they needed mechanical equipment to lift the trunk and would have blocked the street for several hours if I had felled them, limbed them out and then moved the wood.They just completed the job and I cannot say enough good things about the crew. They’re efficient, safety conscious, professional and also the kind of work crew that I would feel comfortable that my single mom daughter could use without me being there for “project management”.The cost was reasonable based on what neighbors had told me about other work within the past year.They can provide crane service for a really large job….and Will has uses the crane operator that removed 20 pines…upwards of 80 feet tall and lifted them over 90 feet….over my HOUSE…and onto the street.They also did a little pruning for a neighbor that piggy backed on the job as well as a much larger job for a side neighbor. They were both well pleased from the work as well as the costs.Good service. Fair price. SAFE workers. Crew works as a TEAM and knows how to do it efficiently and professionally.

These guys know how to handle trees. Everything about the process was straightforward. The foreman met me at my house and we walked the property. He provided a quote on the spot and we scheduled the service. They had an earlier opening and they called to see if I could move up our date which worked well for us. They showed up in force, and did what I presumed would be 3 days of work in 1.5 days. They were courteous of the yard and the surrounding trees and fences, and cleaned up thoroughly as the job was underway so it was never very messy at all.I will definitely use these guys in the future.

I could not have been happier with my tree removal service from Raleigh Tree Service. First of all, Will came out and spoke to me about his plan to take down the hugely overgrown Crepe Myrtle I had. He was going to need to bring in a bucket to avoid letting the branches fall on the 3 power service lines running through the tree. I called Raleigh Tree Service based on a recommendation. I had two Ash trees that died over the winter and was gathering quotes to remove them. The removal was difficult as there was no way to simply drop them, they had to be craned out due to the proximity of my garage, house, etc. He showed up, on time and found the reason they died (Emerald Ash Borer, which is now here in Wake Co). He thoroughly explained every step of the removal process and gave me an excellent quote. The work was performed on time, as promised and the quality of their work was absolutely top notch! I rate my experience with them as one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had in my life. Im a very particular person and the quality of their work, communication, professionalism, care for my property and clean up afterwards was superb. Better than Id have done it myself! I literally couldnt tell they were ever there. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Im a 2-time customer. The first time, I had approximately 12 big pines w/ stumps removed from my backyard. Most recently, I had even more and bigger trees removed. Raleigh Tree Service did a great job for us! The tree we had removed had grown lop-sided over the years with an unusually large branch hanging way out. It was in a tricky spot near our house, with restricted access (i.e. a truck couldnt get to it). They had the proper tools and equipment for the job, including a unique lift with a small footprint that let them get close to the tree and control their work. The tree was taken down in a technical manner, and they hauled off the wood and cleaned up the work area nicely. They were mindful of not damaging other nearby trees, even the root structure below ground. It was all handled very professionally, and I would definitely hire them again. They did a terrific job taking out a very large, dead oak tree and 2 smaller trees as well as removing a very overgrown hedge (including the roots!) and clearing up branches on overhanging trees and grinding out several old stumps- it was a big job and they did amazing work and for a fair price. Had a tree leaning over and touching my house. Raleigh Tree Service, RTS, gave me quote for the tree and other limbs hanging over the house and drive on a Friday and had the tree and limbs removed the next Tuesday. RTS did a great job. Very professional in the way that they took extra precautions to not harm the yard or other property. The also handled the clean-up extremely well. Definitely recommend them and will use again.

Will and his company did an excellent job at my home in Wake Forest. He cut down a huge elm tree that was very close to a power pole with several lines as close as 3 feet to limbs. In addition, another tree was taken down in my back yard and 6 tall trees had limbs trimmed off making the overhead canopy visually appealing. What I found the most exciting was watching the guys work with the crane as I have never seen a crane so tall. It sat in my front yard and went over the top of my house to lift out the tree parts as they were cutting. Will and the crew are very professional, own all the equipment needed to get the job down and cleaned up the yard when finished. Have already spoken to him about more trees to be cut in my back yard early next spring. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I have used Raleigh Tree Service twice in the past 4 years and recommend them 100%. The company owner, Will, is extremely professional, responsive, smart, friendly, and is great to work with. He’s also not in a hurry to chop down trees unnecessarily, which I really appreciate. Then just this week Will and his crew removed a tree from my front yard and several trees from my next door neighbors’ yard. Again, everything went according to plan and my neighbors and I were really impressed with the work (in almost 100 degree heat, no less). Now another neighbor is about to have a bunch of work done with them, and I’m sure we will all continue to try and spread the word about this company!

Raleigh Tree Service was recommended by the company that is building our deck. Will, the owner, called me back promptly, and said they were booked up for a long time, but was quick to contact me when he had an opening, and quoted a very good price for the work we needed done. The weather this week was going to be rainy, and Will had an unexpected availability for today, and called to ask if that would be possible, so that rain wouldnt cause to have to postpone. I was able to be home, and glad to have the work done ahead of schedule.They arrived on time, and I was greeted by Mitchell, who introduced himself, and the company when I met him at the door. Each of the guys was very polite. They did an excellent job with the tree removal and trimming, as well as the cleanup afterwards.I would highly recommend them for any tree pruning, removal, and stump grinding work anyone might have need of.

We utilized Raleigh Tree Service for both tree and limb removal. We had several large limbs that were overhanging our roof as well as a few large trees that we needed to remove. Will came out reviewed the health of our trees and gave us an estimate that was extremely fair. He came out on the day we had arranged and I couldnt be happier with the work and service. Several areas were difficult to get to around our house. Will removed each of the trees without damaging any of the other trees we wished to keep. Will and crew also created a 20 foot space of canopy around our house. He even removed another large tree that was creating problems for us for a very fair rate. They are definitely worth contacting for any tree related problems you have.

Raleigh Tree Service was AMAZING.I initially made the request for a free consultation from Raleigh Tree Service online and within the hour they called me setting up an appointment. Will Etheridge, owner, came out and inspected the 2 trees that I needed to take down.The two trees that needed to come down was no easy job; the 2 trees had no more than 5 feet between the house and less than a foot between a fence and another 4 feet from the neighbor’s housed.Will Etheridge took measurements and had concerns about the width of my drive way and fitting trucks, but stated he will have the trees taken down no matter what with the price quoted. I had quotes from 3 other companies, and 2 companies stated they would not be able to take down the trees because it was too challenging. Raleigh Tree Service was $250 cheaper than all other companies. Price alone didn’t get me to choose them, I really liked that Will promised that he was onsite and in charge of the job for the fulfillment of the job.The Day of the Job, Will and his crew showed up ON-TIME!!! And ready to start. Raleigh Tree Service had a new boom truck and it was discovered it was inches too big for my tiny drive way (walled in). Will who is passionate about his job came up with an brilliant way to get the boom truck set up half way up the drive way, so it was not blocking the busy road and could still be used. This is when I realized Will was the right person for the job. I loved the fact that Will was the main person working the job and making the decisions. During the entire job it was evident that Will is a very intelligent man and will make sure things are done right.The two trees were taken down and stumps ground up. Raleigh Tree Service made sure that the area around the tree and even my roof and my neighbors roof was cleared of any debris. I thought this was classy touch.I would recommend Raleigh Tree Service to all my Family and Friends.

Had 70 Leyland Cypress trees to remove from my property. Got 7 estimates, most were close in range. Ended up going with RTS. As a small business owner, I appreciated dealing directly with the owner of the company - Will Etheridge, who would also be on site throughout the job. Now that the trees are down and stumps ground, I couldnt be more pleased with the job. The crew did a great job, cleaned up and I was especially impressed by the skill in which trees were carried by crane over top of my home. Very professional. Wills price was fair, but I must say, this company exceeeded my expectations.

I contacted them through their website twice and left a phone message months ago and nobody ever got back to me. I guess they dont need any business.
