We had part of a very large tree fall. Not only did Cameron return our emergency phone call on a Sunday he was out the next day to evaluate and by Thursday the fallen part and the rest of our huge Oak had been fully removed eliminating any further damage. Very responsive, professional and great prices. I highly recommend and would 100% use again.

If having an responsible, knowledgeable, dependable and INSURED for LIABILITY tree cutting service is important to you, don’t use Oak City.Oak City was originally unresponsive in addressing a concern that was brought to their attention. This lack of timely responsiveness resulted in flooding of my house.When originally informed of a flooding issue that was at first limited to back concrete patio, we were told that someone would come to rectify the situation.Multiple weeks later, and nothing had been done by Oak City or it’s representatives to alleviate the newfound patio flooding, a large rainfall occurred resulting in the trapped water on the patio rushing into my house because it had no where else to go. This resulted in up to 3 inches of water in my basement.One week after the flooding of my basement, someone associated with Oak City arrived with a front end loader and created a drainage ditch to help alleviate another potential imminent flooding of the patio and house. After a few days of drying out, they returned again to do some further minor grading, which also helped drainage.While this helped to prevent the flooding from happening again, this didn’t do anything for the damage that had already been doneAfter numerous attempts to discuss and rectify this situation for 3 weeks, absolutely nothing has been resolved to our satisfaction.In fact, we have dealt with unreasonable and insulting responses directly from the owner himself. He completely denies any responsibility and has refused to give us his insurance information so we can file a claim against it.If you value your property, I’d recommend any other dependable and reputable tree service company before dealing with this outfit.Edit: P.S. please send us your insurance information if you are fully insured like you claim. Why would a reputable and insured business refuse to provide insurance information for multiple weeks after it being requested?Edit 2: P.P.S. Your representatives were working on my property on the 7th-12th of July. Check the register of deeds or property tax information for the county and then edit your comment about me not being a client.

I was completely impressed by the professional demeanor of the Oak City crew when they cut and removed 3 oak trees including a 70 footer in my backyard recently. I liked Cameron Huffman from the point of his estimate to the follow up visit after the work was complete. The job was very competitively priced, they showed up on time and proceeded to safely complete the task and cleanup in just over 3 hours.
