I recently had the good fortune of going on one of the Beltline Brew Tours. Will, who led the tour of three local breweries, was friendly and entertaining. The bus was a full-size bus that could accommodate a large group. The tour was a very well-organized event and kept to the time schedule. Food was served on the bus in between stops at the breweries. Its a great way to see some of the local growing brewery scene.

Have had several chances now to be a part of Wills Beltline Brew Tours and Ive always enjoyed them. The tour is interesting each time and the bus is always loaded with fun people. The breweries visited are happy to see the bus pull in and the beer information is informative and presented on a level anyone can understand and enjoy! Give this a try one afternoon!

Excellent brew tour! The owner, Will, was very informative and made clear that if anyone got carried away and drank to much that they could assist in locating transportation for them. The tour was very organized and ran on schedule. They took me to breweries I had not heard of. I could imagine that this would be a great way to have a bachelor or bachelorette party.

Beltline Brew Tours led the Google City Experts BBQ & Beer Bus tour this month. Had a great time on the tour; lots of information about brewing in NC; great food, good stops. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and I dont even drink (my +1 did all the tasting).

Terrible. The tour was disorganized and we would have been better off hiring Ubers and going independently. I still dont know the tour guides name as she never introduced herself or told us where we were going and what to expect when we got there. Very disappointed.

Horrible company. Four of us found the tour online and on the website it says couples ticket: $45. We emailed and asked if a couples ticket covered 2 people and got a response saying yes. So 2 of us got one couples ticket. And then the other 2 of us got another couples ticket. We show up at the meeting place and each couple hands in our tickets, the beltline girl checks the tickets and checks us in. When we go to get on the bus, she realizes its overbooked. She then tells us we need to buy two more tickets, which we show the email and say that doesnt make any sense. So she calls another vehicle for for overflow of 3 people, says its all good.We get to Raleigh brewing company. It didnt seem like anyone expected us and we just kind of stood there waiting around. The belt line girl then shows up, never even introduced herself or explained how the process worked and says were gonna have to step out of the tour when she gets a call from her manager??? Okay... but we really want to enjoy the tour. The Raleigh brewing company tour guide then says we get to try 4 beers... okay... so we start picking out the beers and hes like oh yall all have to decide, so I facilitated a vote amongst 15 strangers to decide on the beers- how weird is that? They should have picked out the beers to try.Anyways, we are about 10 min into the tour and the beltline guide comes to us with her cell phone and the manager, Will, is on the line. This is where I lose all respect for this horrible company. Will says that each person needs a couples ticket, despite the customer service rep that emailed and clarified otherwise. He then suggests we go home. Well were already on the tour (missing 50% of it at this point) so thats not really an option as we no longer can access our vehicle. Will then demands that we buy two more couples tickets, which would have covered 8 people, and its still just us 4. We explain the website is very confusing which is why we asked for email verification. His rudeness escalated and he finally says I dont want to spend another 30 minutes on the phone with you, so just buy one more couples ticket and well call it even.We had missed most of the first tour at this point and agreed to his rediculous proposal since we had already paid $90+ on the original couples tickets. The beltline guide tells us she understands the confusion after we show her the website (which I guess she never saw?) and she told us this sort of thing happens all the time and she has a pop up chair to ride in the middle of the van because it always gets overbooked.Point is, this was horrible customer service. Our whole tour couldnt believe the way we got treated and all agreed to never use this company again. I dont usually write negative reviews but this experience warrants a warning to anyone looking for a tour company: do not use these people. There are plenty of other companies that value their customers and can take ownership of a screw up on their end.
