I have been a client of Chris Donohues for the past 3 years for my medical practice. His work has always been average at best. This past year has been an absolute disaster! After taking over my payroll he did not file my November, December, January and February payroll taxes at all! (A mandatory step for any payroll company)My receptionist would then scan the letters from the IRS and NC showing payments not being made. He would rarely respond to the letters and eventually costs me THOUSANDS in late fees and penalties.2 weeks ago I decided to leave his firm and move to a new CPA firm. He has refused to send me my records. After multiple written and verbal requests he has refused to send me my files.I am currently filing a complaint with the CPA board due to his violation of his professions rules and regulations.DO NOT HIRE THIS CPA FOR YOUR BUSINESS! One of the worst I have ever seen in my 20 years in practice!!
