*UPDATED* They seem really busy. But everyone was really nice once I got inside the building. Just go thru the main doors and go straight up to the third floor.Main door is open during business hours. No key card required.---*ORIGINAL*Um... Ive been on hold for 20 minutes and Im just right outside the building trying to figure out how to get in.
We have been doing therapy with Hope Services for over 2 years. We are currently doing intensive in home therapy and everyone we have had the pleasure to work with has been amazing. They are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to doing the best job they can. You can tell that the staff is there because they are passionate about their job. Hope Services is an amazing place!
Hope for some. The one star is for the receptionist. Shes a very nice lady. Otherwise. I went there two days ago to get help for my son. They have no one on a staff who takes United Healthcare so I filled out my paperwork and left it there. On the way home my son had a violent episode. Ive spent two days feeling hopeless to get him help. He has blind violent rages and I feel like everyone turn us away. Its Friday and I have yet to hear from someone. I thought this was a place you could walk into and get help. Im disappointed. Its taken me many calls to find someone willing to see my five year old. Im hoping to finally get some help next week. I feel like driving all the way to Hope Services was a waste of time. I didnt complain but I was told you could walk in and get help. I was still hopeful until I realized they are not going to call me or they will take days to even do so. So does anyone think they will wait till over the weekend to even call me back. In the mean time I have a therapist who I hope will work with us but this place is not the place that I feel cares about people or I would have heard something by now. Imagine not one therapist for us. Hope for some but not for us. Meanwhile I have a child who is telling me he wishes he didnt exist.
I like it and the people. Our therapist, pri, is awesome. The only issue Ive had is that they dont trust me to say that my son needs real therapy, not just play therapy. Although, a few months of play therapy has worked pretty well, hes getting bumped up to regular therapy now..... which could have been started months ago if theyd listened to me.
We’re fostering two kiddos, and reached out to Hope Services. The initial assessments were today, and the team.was.fantastic. Kionna (unsure of spelling) was so genuinely kind and so patient - great with the kids and with us. We haven’t had our first appointment yet, but my initial impression is super positive!
This place is a joke. Intensive in-home therapy for 7 months and had 3 therapists quit. How can you expect your child to trust and open up when constantly changing therapists? Something is wrong here. My sons behavior is worse than when we started. Appointments cancelled and one therapist said husband cancelled--no, you were in Virginia for an extended weekend. Family in crises and she does that!! Makes me wonder how many cancelled appts were billed for. Usual therapy jaron, apologies and Were here to help and support your family. Caused more stress to our family dynamic than helped, especially when in crises. My advice is to stay away from Hope Services. Transitioned son back to outpatient with A New Life Services which is more professional and helpful.
Not surprised by the ratings as the culture of the company is powered by greed. They workers with masters degrees are paid the same as the lady cleaning the poorly kept office with run down carpet and dirt and writing on the wall. The also charge workers for tools needed to complete their job (aka no investment in employees to make them stay beyond the low low pay). You have to work for pennies for 4 years in order to not pay them back for training and supervision. Also God forbid an employee needs medical care after being there for a month. Your benefits dont kick in until after 3 months! The cherry on top is you also have to make it through an entire month before getting paid. Your employees make your company and how you treat them speaks to the care of your clients, basic business.
We have had a terrific experience with Hope Services! I highly recommend them for children struggling with trauma or even teens needing help with life.
We didn’t even stay. Intake didn’t communicate, some woman came in asking whose is this, showing a confidential document to people in the room until we could figure out what it was and whose it was, the waiting room is loud and small so If you have sensory processing needs DONT GO. We had an appointment at 9, but they told us they don’t open until 9, so they weren’t even taking anyone in until then, which was a complete waste of time. We just got up and left to find somewhere that doesn’t seem like such a mess. Completely unprofessional. Why would I trust my child’s mental health with people less competent than herself?
They were very helpful with my tween. One of the rare places to accept medicaid and accepting new patients. The therapist was thankfully easy to get a hold of when needed.
Well, me and my sister went to this place and they were very helpful. They were understanding and listened to my issues. Now the problems was when we were scheduled for an appointment. We dont have a car so ended up missing and rescheduling the appointment. When we tried to reschedule again we were denied. I am dealing with a lot mentally, and its a shame that they cant help me. I just need help. What if a child was on the brink of death and they were denied help? They are wrong for doing this to us. I dont recommend them.
