I went here for years and was on the same medication and so stable they didn’t require me to do therapy any more. They canceled an appointment with me and then when my meds ran out claimed it would be dangerous to prescribe more until they could fit me back in so I had to go through extremely difficulty withdrawal (Physically and mentally) from my meds that I’ve been taking for many years and had to find somewhere else to get treatment going forward because that was bordering on malpractice according to many friends I have in the field.

Worse place to go for mental health. Ppl quit every week so youre constantly starting over and once they get paid you dont mean a thing to them. They need to be shut down

I was at the falstaff location for 2 years for medication management and therapy. The therapists are hit and miss... both of the good ones I had left within a couple months. The prescribers are great; very professional and understanding. The front desk people, however, are a problem. Unprofessional, condescending and have zero issues berating you in front of other patients. Double check your appointment times and paperwork if you go here, because they don’t have a clue what’s going on and have no qualms blaming you for their mistakes.

The entire staff at Carolina Outreach Clinic is amazing. My sons and I have seen three separate counselors at the clinic over the past 2 1/2 years, and I have only positive things to say...they are respectful, supportive, empathetic, professional, kind, and show tough love when necessary. I travel an hour for our appointments, and it is well worth it.

Im a client with Turning Point Family Care, they recently turned into Carolina Outreach. Due to the turn over, I am running out of medication. The soonest they can get me to see someone is two weeks away. I was told if I show up when the office opens (Falstaff Rd), I could probably be helped with at least one weeks worth of prescription. I showed up this morning, when the office opened. Sat there for two hours. Had to leave, or else I would have been tardy for work. This isnt good, Carolina Outreach. I am already a client. Should not have to crawl through bs just to get a weeks worth of meds.

Great practice, office needs to be updated. Looks and feels old. So far staff, nurses, doctors are great. 3 stars for staff, -2 stars for building. The Durham office has recently been renovated. They even give you the wi-fi password. The layout is nice and it feels safer. In a psychiatric place like that, where they help people who can’t afford it. So there are all kinds of people. People who look like they have lived a hard life, and need a shower. But they staff is good to everyone. That has been my experience.

Wonderful place for people that need help with mental conditions but cant afford the high price of lucky psych doctors. Very friendly staff and easy to work with, rh doctors are very caring and listen well. This place is a lifesaver.

My son has MANY chemical imbalance uses and has had 3 different doctors who didnt do what was needed. We discovered the Clayton office and it was a dream come true. They did everything that was needed to help my son get better including psychological testing. They worked with him on his own level and made him dig out of where he was. They have helped all of us as a family also which was never really investigated the correct way. We now have the tools to help him and each other plus my marriage get to where everything and everyone needs to be. Im also seeing a therapist there who is helping me learn more about myself than I ever thought existed. Thank you SO VERY much for everything Carolina Outreach in Clayton! Debbie Hultmark

I was barely late, there were only 2-3 people in the waiting room and they said despite my emergency, they would not see me. Screw them!

Tried to call them about getting a psych eval ask I have had a difficult few months. I already have a hard time trusting doctors but trying to make an attempt to get better. Found them by googling Walk in Psychiatric and was told they can see me monday but not this monday. This is why people kill themselves. They reach out for help and is dismissed when they try to contact them. Sorry but Mental health is a 247/365 thing. It doesnt reserve itself for convince of one day in two weeks. Guess Ill keep on searching.
