This is my first experience learning self defense classes. Both instructors and students in this dojo are very kind. I feel like in familly. The instructors have a lot of patience and thus the most enjoyable and effective learning. A great advantage is that the class starts at 7:30 pm which gives us more time to arrive from our jobs. I originally came to train karate at the dojo. The karate sensei convinced me to try aikido there shortly afterwards. It was one of the best decisions Ive made. The family atmosphere made it a perfect fit for me from the beginning. The instruction is of high quality, and all of the instructors are patient with the development of their students. I would highly recommend any individual and/or family to come try a class or two!

Effective Aikido that is true to the founder. The instructors teacher, Roy Suenaka, is one of the few remaining people who was an uchi deshi to OSensei himself. The people there are all really friendly. And, the instructors are great at explaining things and helping people learn. You will love this school. Plus, its FREE.
