Too bad zero stars isnt an option so I was stuck giving them 1 star. Their billing and front desk are terrible. When I scheduled my appointment, I specifically asked if they were in network for my Blue Cross plan. The woman said yes. This was confirmed when I showed up for my appointment. That was in August 2020. Then in late December 2020, I received a bill for the full price of the imaging. I called them back after the holidays and was told they were not in network (and some time between my appointment and the bill they became Cardinal Points Imaging - not a name I made the appointment with). It took some time after the holidays to track down the problem of why my annual imaging check up wasnt covered only to find out that they and the doctor who read my report werent in network after all, even though I was told they were. I relented and paid the bill in early February 2021 through their online system and wrote down the confirmation number. Imagine my surprise in early May 2021 when I received a call from a debt collection company saying I owe this money. I told them it was paid back in February and they advised me to reach out to the billing department for Cardinal Points imaging. I called the number on the bill in early May to have them track down the payment I made. I provided them their confirmation number and a screen shot from my credit card company showing it was paid. As of June 1, they still couldnt figure out where my payment went in their system. Another call I made to their corporate office finally produced an answer on June 2 saying the payment has been credited to my account - a month after I first contacted them when I received the debt collection call. Cardinal Points has an inefficient system of billing and collecting money and their front desk staff doesnt know billing details for insurance.I will not be using their imaging services again. There are plenty of other imaging centers in the Raleigh metro. Cardinal Points Imaging exhibits poor business practices, which make me question if their imaging and reading the images is correct or not.
The scheduling and check-in processes were efficient, the front desk staff were friendly, and Angela was a kind and gentle technologist.
Well - got an email that my appointment was Saturday at 8:15. Showed up and the place was closed. I loved Raleigh Radiology - think I will just go back to them. Too bad because you are only 10 minutes from my home.
Only $150 for me to get an ultrasound. Great value and friendly staff.
Got automated call saying to make appointment. Went through phone tree, on hold 21 min, was disconnected. Called back, on hold 22 min before connected to clerk. So took more than 45 minutes just to make appt. Same last yr. This practice doesnt value me. I will ask my doc to change referral in future.
This was my first time here at this location for services..The staff is so friendly and efficient. I will definitely recommend Cardinal Points Imaging to my family and friends.
I went in for an MRI on December 23, and was told that my cost was much higher than I expected because of an unmet deductible. I wouldve left and rescheduled for after Jan 1 but the receptionist told me not to worry about it, I wouldnt be responsible for this since I was not told the cost. I since received the bill, called the billing office, and they told me that person was not correct and I still had to pay the bill. I never wouldve kept the appointment so close to the end of the year if I knew I would be paying the deductible again for surgery just a few weeks later! l wont be back to this center.
The staff here are exceptional. First-class treatment is what you can expect. I truly recommend this location for all your imaging needs.
So glad I stopped postponing and came here! I had been putting off my mammo because of the pandemic, and finally went to Cardinal Points today for both a mammo and a DEXA (bone density test).I felt so safe. Everything was so clean. Lydia and Ramey helped me at check in and were welcoming and friendly. The woman who did my mammo was friendly and I never felt uncomfortable. She mentioned that the images she captured were ACR textbook! and I asked what that was. ACR is the gold standard in medical imaging. Cardinal Points has has accreditation uninterrupted since they first started 20 years ago, so that gave me extra confidence that I was getting a really good screening. Ginger did my DEXA which I wanted for a baseline to make sure my bone health was intact. The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was cleaning continuously and wearing masks the whole time. I felt really safe and was glad I didnt wait any longer to get these important screening exams. I keep hearing that the sickest COVID patients are the ones whose immune systems were compromised in some way. Knowing I have looked into my health and well being makes me feel like I am making smart decisions.Highly recommend. From start to finish, I was in and out in under an hour.
I was scheduled to come here for an ultrasound for a concern about my right breast. The doctor was not scheduled to come in to work until an hour after my appointment. Therefore when my ultrasound showed scary results I had to wait until the doctor got there to interpret and discuss. Upon the doctor’s arrival, he or she (I don’t even know who it was) discussed their thoughts with my nurse and asked her to relay the information to me. This is out of the nursing scope of practice but cool fine. The nurse then tells me I have a benign tumor and need to schedule a follow up appointment in 6 months to see if it grows. She was just as confused as I was with my results. My symptoms did not match up with the imaging. I am going to have to get a second opinion for my own mental health because again no doctor discussed how urgent or non-urgent the results or meaning of a “benign” tumor is. Also I am not sure if you can even tell by looking at an ultrasound if a tumor is benign or not so again it just felt like a huge waste of my time. Do not recommend this place. See a different radiology clinic or breast specialist ESPECIALLY if you have no medical background or training. I am a registered nurse so I have many concerns about my visit and recommendation.
They are understanding, compassionate and through. The tech was able to answer all of my questions and was very nice.
Took my father for an MRI. From the start, the receptionist sees that my father is struggling while walking and decides to ask for his information before we get a chance to walk through the door. So I assist my dad to a seat while she continues to request for our information and continues to see me assist my father in walking. Then we provide our information, and I return to my seat to fill out the form and wait for about 35 minutes to be called back. In the meantime, we can hear both receptionist personal conversation, because they clearly don’t care how loud they are, and you can hear them trying to pronounce our last name and one of them saying “who cares, it doesn’t matter..” as one of their fellow worker tries to make sure they pronounce our name correctly. I’m not bothered if someone mispronounces my name, it’s just the disregard for your patients in the same room hearing you that’s annoying. To top that all off, we are seated back down after the MRI concludes and told to wait for a CD of the images, and we wait for about 25 minutes. While in the waiting area, you can hear one of the receptionist ask if someone has started to work in our CD and the other receptionist says “I’m checking people in.” In the 25 minute wait, there were 2 patients and there were 2 receptionists and another assistant in the back. In short, bad service from personnel. The nurse that took us back was very thorough and nice.
Love coming to this location. They are ale friendly, quick and care about your comfort!!
Received a Bill in the mail from a collection agency regarding cardinal points imaging. I had never even heard of them. After disrupting the validity it was told to me this was Raleigh radiology. This was from an imaging back in may! Terrible communication
I have had nothing but great experiences at this location for mammograms. The staff has always been friendly and apologetic if there was a delay. Making and rescheduling appointments is a breeze as well
Ive had two experiences here and was impressed with the high quality care given to me by the staff. Five stars for communication, efficiency and thoroughness. I felt very comfortable here
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I am forced to give them a 1 star rating. I have bad experience today regarding bill. I called to billing department toay because they send my bill to collection centre. They charged me $203.13 after deductible for ultra sound too much. I already called to billing dept. before. they told me they will review my bill and call back me. but they never call me and they send bill to collection centre. today i called regarding billing issue. they didnot listen me. they cut my call. Brier creek Raleigh radiology charged too much even they have no expert readiologist. They tried to force us pay bill. I never go again this raleigh radiology. They dont care for patient.
Went in for a scheduled appointment...they made me wait for 30 minutes while they discussed if they had enough room for me. Then I got into the appointment and the radiologist said the machine was down and would take an hour to reboot. Waited 45 minutes and then he said he didnt know how long it would take. Offered me a gas card for my trouble....it was a $5 sheets card. This was a terrible and awkward experience. Felt like I was in a tattoo parlor.
Went here back in March for some X-rays. I asked before and after my visit if I owed anything and was told no. Today, after nearly 6 months and having heard nothing from them, I got a bill from a collection agency! Ill be sure to avoid all Raleigh Radiology locations in the future.
I went to another radiology clinic for my previous mammogram and had such a bad experience that I swore Id never have another one. But the folks at Raleigh Radiology listened to my fears and treated me wonderfully. These are good, caring people and Ill never go anywhere else. When you find the best, theres no reason to look any further.
The staff had no knowledge of how to work with my insurance. Fibally sent me to the collection!!!! Collection was able to collect money from my insurance and charged me a copay. After two months I received new statement for a new copay. Surprise?!!!!! I had no other visits, only and only one!! Called them a few times. They’re planning to send it to collection again for the new $35 copay. It’s kind of funny, strange, and frustrating. I’ll be happy to deal with collection again than this untrained and rude staff.
Im a 2-time cancer survivor and have had countless CT scans, x-rays, etc. Ive seen the good and the bad when it comes to radiology. The service from this place was fantastic. The receptionist was very nice, the technician was fantastic, and the service was prompt. I needed scans put to a CD a couple weeks later, and it was done within hours (not days like most places). Everything about this made a challenging ordeal much easier.ALSO - they are far cheaper. The scan cost $700 (before insurance), and the same scan would have cost $3400+ (before insurance) at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Unless its an emergency, go with a dedicated radiologist like this.
LOVE this place. I went there to have my ankle X-Ray. Im a homeschooler mom, so I have my kids in tow. The employees of this office gave my children coloring books, crayons and stickers. They watched my children for just a few moments while I got my X-Ray. My kids didnt want to leave! It was a great experience considering I had a sprained ankle! The employees of this office were nice & courteous and treated me and my children with respect.
I had a bone density scan today at this location. The technician, Nick, was friendly, upbeat, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I own a service business and I will tell you that Nick is the kind of employee I would love to have!
It has been 7 months since my visit and I am now being hunted by collections. After my appointment, I never received a bill so I called on 2 occasions and both times was told insurance covered all cost. I had to change my number after they gave all of my information to a collection agency. I paid them immediately over the phone and I still was receiving at least 3 calls a day. I called back to the office to let them know I never received a bill and she couldnt even find my address in the system. Needless to say, they never mailed the bill, I never received a bill, and the front desk twice told me I didnt have a balance.Lesson learned, the convenience of the location was not worth the frustration and aggravation that followed.
Great
First time at this location, have used the carry facility before, but these are as good and exceptional employees as the cary. I hope never have to use them again but, if i have, itll be a pleasure.
Getting to talk to someone from billing is very hard.
Employees are wonderful and caring!
