I absolutely love working out at O2 fitness Raleigh - Brier Creek! The facility is well kept, they provide you with personal disinfectant bottles upon entrance, there is access to so many machines, and the employees are all so kind. Many gyms say it, but I truly felt welcome from the first day I stepped through the doors. No gymtimidation here!
Trish is awesome, and she always welcomes me with a smile. Hope has been an amazing addition to the team, and I always look forward to seeing her. Craig is the man, and he will always help you out with anything. 12/10 recommend.

O2 fitness at Brier Creek is a great gym that has all new equipment and is super spacious. I especially love the turf area with a TRX rig, battle ropes, sand bags, sleds, etc. I never have to wait for a squat rack which is nice, they have plenty of equipment and not too many people there at any one time.
I’ve been training with Shane at O2 Brennan Station and O2 Brier Creek for 6 months and apart from his vast knowledge with training and proper weight lifting form, he has a pleasant personality and great attitude! He listens to my needs and formulates training plans specific to my goals. In addition to training, we also talk about nutrition in terms of altering lifestyle versus “going on a diet” which has been very helpful! The O2 fitness clubs are also great. Everyone I’ve encountered from employees to guests have been warm and friendly. Also a plus that O2 puts clients first and ensures a positive and safe/clean environment to work out. Thanks O2!
Trainer Recommendation: Newly pregnant and searching for a way to stay active, the O2 Fitness team paired me with Cassie Berger. As a former college athlete, the gym has always been a place where I can go to feel like myself and maintain a healthy body and spirit. After a short evaluation, Cassie put together a workout plan tailored to my pregnancy. Her attention to detail, technicality, support, and overall attitude is a rare combination to find. She’s helped me stay strong mentally and physical through movement, breathing techniques, and she’s even managed to keep me feeling like myself – an athlete. Her ability to provide comprehensive training is some of the best I have seen. She connects with your needs on another level and helps you train to meet your fitness goals. I highly recommend Cassie – she’s one of the best trainers in the Triangle.
The amazing trainers that work with me Cassie and Isaiah are the best around!! They work with and me and help me meet all of my goals. But it’s gone beyond that. I consider them my friends! We talk throughout the entire training session and time just flies! I don’t even honk about how much longer the training session is. Plus it makes the workout that much more fun! I am seeing great physical and health benefits from the personal training sessions at Brier Creek. My trainer Cassie from the very beginning was very helpful. Cassie B. Is Attentive to my personal fitness goals, and she customizes my Workouts so that they are challenging and effective. She is knowledgeable and educates you on the specific exercises. If I have questions outside of our sessions she is accessible and answers my questions. I love that she meets you where you are at fitness wise and helps you make progress to get stronger and feel good about the progress along the way.
Working with trainer Zion Timberlake now for a month has been a delight. He always has a smile on his face, but he is also very observant of our workout progress—sometimes making changes to the type of exercises or repetitions based on our progress. He will ask questions about how we feel throughout the workout and make written progress notes. Most importantly, he is open to suggestions on what muscle groups we’d prefer to work on or what apparatus we would like to try. His past work in physical therapy also gives him a wealth of experience we’ve found most helpful.
The atmosphere in this particular gym is nothing short of amazing. They greet you as soon as the doors open with warm hospitality. They take pride in cleanliness and ensuring the safety of all members. Craig epitomizes what a leader should always be he listens to concerns and does above and beyond what is required of him. Emily a well educated trainer is the best around, she personalizes a workout for each client and motivates you every single second. This is the gym for anyone truly looking for a home.
If you are in search of an all around gym or fitness center look no further. This O2 Fitness is by far the best gym in the area. Between the friendly and professional staff throughout, and the cleanliness of this place, you can tell they really care about taking care of their clients. The staff/trainers are very knowledgeable about how to give you specific training & exercises for what you have going on. The general manager, Craig, knows everyone and is always friendly when you come in to workout. He even checks in on your progress and makes sure that you are satisfied with your experience. Overall, this gym has a great atmosphere and will definitely keep me coming back like it has for so many others.
I did personal training with Cassie for 6 months and it was a wonderful experience. Cassie was great about listening to my goals and catering to them. She helped instill confidence and pushed me postpartum while being mindful about my progress and making sure everything still felt good. Working out can be a challenge, but I always felt stronger leaving our sessions. I would highly recommend personal training with Cassie!
Love my training sessions with Ross! Hes knowledgeable, friendly, and pushes me when I need it without being obnoxious about it. Ive made a ton of progress with my lifting thanks to him! The gym is always clean and I dont normally have to wait for equipment. The rest of the staff is always super friendly as well.
O2 at Brier creek is a top tier facility. They have a huge turf area, ample free weights, and very nice equipment. I never really have to wait for anything which is nice. This gym is very health conscious about cleanliness. The staff there is very friendly, especially the lady at the front door in the mornings (drawing a blank on her name).The trainers are expert athletes and attentive to their clients needs. Depending on your personal goals they have someone there ready to get you to the next level. Honestly, You really get a lot more than you pay for.I personally have been working with Ross Sealby for the last 6 months on strength and conditioning. He is very friendly and professional. I have seen a huge improvement in my workouts.Ross listens to my requests and is really good about explaining the different exercises and stretches for flexibility. He really knows his stuff and I can tell he actually cares about his clients fitness journey. 11/10 would recommend booking with him.
I love this gym. The front desk staff and trainers are always friendly and polite. The facilities are well maintained, clean and the equipment is well kept. The manager there is probably the hardest working manager I’ve ever seen in a gym. He’s always straightening equipment, cleaning and keeping things organized. Very pleased to be a member and the ability to enjoy this facility. Great gym!

I’ve had probably 5 sessions with Cassie now, she is so wonderful!! Very focused on helping you help yourself by figuring out your needs and then teaching you how to target what your own specific goals are. I stay begrudged with her theoughout the entire workout but love her the second it’s over, and always feel fabulous every time I complete a session with her! (This is how any good workout should be! 😁) Recently did a few couples workouts with her where she customized a session where my spouse and I could utilize each other in our training session and it was SO fun and we also learned a few new things we can do in our own garage that is incorporate each other— great for our bodies, minds, and relationship! Highly recommend Cassie as a trainer! Try the couples workout, you won’t regret it!

Good, well-equipped gym with everything you could need, friendly staff, and good equipment availability. The main weights area has all the basics, and its rare (at least in the mornings) to see people waiting on equipment. Theres also three lifting platforms in the turf area (another nice feature) so that its rarely hard to find a rack. The equipment is all in excellent shape and they use standard sized equipment (no weird diameter plates). Ive been training with Ross Sealby for the past 6 months and have been very satisfied with the results Ive gotten, would highly recommend him to anyone!

O2 Fitness at Brier Creek is a great location thats close to my home, has a good variety of equipment, and great personal trainers. Ive started working with Alan and hes been doing a great job helping me get back into shape after the lockdown.
I have been going to O2 in Brier Creek since it has opened and I have never had any negatives to say! It’s clean, they have great classes and equipment, the staff is SO friendly (especially Brian at the front desk), and the trainers are great!! I didn’t originally think I needed a trainer but after trying the two free sessions I was hooked! I have been training with Ross every week for almost a year and I couldn’t be happier with him. He continues to push me to do my best and constantly encourages me to try new work outs. I have never been in this great of shape and it’s all thanks to him!!!

Cassie has made working out not only more fun but more effective. I’ve learned so many great techniques from her that have helped me feel more confident in the gym. The most amazing facility and people! People are always willing to help. It is clean, professional and friendly. The trainers are amazing! I work out with Ross weekly and he is the best! As a cancer survivor, who has had multiple surgeries, not only has he worked with my limitations but has helped me overcome them! I am stronger, have greater flexibility and just feel so much better. He changes my workout weekly so that when I go in to workout by myself I am always doing something new. Workouts are never boring! I look forward to my sessions and just look forward to going to the gym in general. If a workout can be fun, get results and is actually enjoyable, you will go more and see better results. That is exactly what has happened to me. If you are looking for a great trainer, look at Ross. He is simply the best! He pushes me at each session but makes me laugh too! I’ve been coming to the Brier Creek location since right around the time it’s opened. It’s a great gym with a very knowledgeable and friendly PT staff. The new Fitness Director, Shane, has helped me with any questions I had about my form on my lifts. I always look forward to my next workout
Only been back working out for about a month now after COVID and been working with one of the trainers Zion a few times a week. Superb experience all around, but Zion has especially helped throughout the process. Highly recommend, especially if you need some extra motivation getting back into working out.
Joining O2 Fitness at Brier Creek is the best decision Ive made for myself in years. I spent the last 23 years raising kids and prioritizing their needs, but I hadnt taken time for myself or my health. So, I decided that 2021 would be the year that I get healthy. The hardest part was coming in on Day 1.Once I entered the gym, it felt so comfortable. The staff was friendly, the members were nice, and there was nothing lacking in the equipment. I was pleasantly surprised. Hiring Cassie as my personal trainer has elevated my experience at O2 Fitness. She has so much knowledge and is able to create workouts that maximize each hour that I spend with her. I work harder and I sweat more than I ever have in my life. Cassie pushes me so hard but does it in a positive way. Waking up muscles that havent been used in a while can be painful, but Cassie always knows what I need to do to reduce my soreness. I cant imagine a better trainer. I am so happy with my decision to join this wonderful gym with the best staff. Im looking forward to many years spent with this wonderful crew.

O2 Brier Creek is an example of how a gym should feel. I have been to many gyms in my 20 years of fitness, and Ive seen whats out there. The gym is clean and the trainers are knowledgeable. The staff recognize you, know you, and are happy to see you walk in each day. This kids area is clean, full of activities, and led by people who enjoy being with your children. The equipment is newer and working. Gym goers take care of the weights, clean, and rerack. I drive past four other O2 fitness just to use this gym. Thanks to the staff and leaders for making it enjoyable.
Craig, the GM at O2 Brier Creek makes the experience seem like you are flying first class instead of coach. Everything down to the smallest detail is wonderful and it makes you feel look forward to working out at Briar Creek. There is just something unique about this location he has created that is so positive, energizing and welcoming. He should be the GM at all the O2 gyms. It is friendly, super-clean, great vibe and has so many resources and opportunities to find the right level of fitness activities to achieve your goals. Over the years, Ive been to Ballys, Golds Gym, Planet Fitness etc.... No comparison. This location is an A+. Just renewed my membership again. Dont hesitate to join. Hope the review helps. Bottom-line, simply take the time to drive over once and do just a 5 minute walk-thru and you will definitely sign up the same day *smile* If you like First-class service and a super-clean gym with everything you need for any type of workout, its the best in the Triangle. I’ve been a member at O2 Fitness Brier Creek since they opened. It’s a beautiful and well-maintained facility with a nice selection of equipment and areas to work out. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly, and you can always ask the trainers a quick question if you need help with something. They also offer personal training sessions and packages at a competitive rate with other gyms in the area.I bought a personal training package with one of their trainers, Cassie, at the beginning of the year in hopes that I’d be able to get in better shape after a year of COVID-19 laziness. I have worked with other trainers in the past but I took advantage of a free “assessment” session with Cassie and I was sold after just a few minutes with her. Working with a trainer is a completely different challenge and if you have the means to make that investment in your health and wellness, I encourage it 100%. Cassie is super attentive during our sessions and helps me with my form and pushes me towards improvements week over week. She’s helped me stay focused on my goals and has been a wonderful encouragement during the past few weeks. I bought a 72-session package with her and am already planning to renew when it’s up. Can’t wait to see what the next few months bring!
Love the Brier Creek facility! Very spacious with a wide variety of equipment, plus a large area for stretching and even larger area for personal training. With being able to open up group fitness classes again, they’re committed to ramping up more classes and instructors, which I look forward to trying out. Super clean and all the staff I’ve met so far have been extremely friendly and helpful!
I’ve started going to the O2 in Brier Creek recently, and I’m super impressed with the quality of staff and equipment. I’ve also enlisted one of their trainers, Zion, who is super professional, motivating, and great at what he does. I highly recommend this gym.
My personal trainer, Cassie, is amazing! I don’t “love” working out and I’ve gotten pretty out of shape. Cassie has met me where I am and is pushing me along but not beyond my desired pace. She reads my energy and adjusts my workouts appropriately, which I really appreciate. She is very encouraging and affirming. I’ve worked out with a lot of trainers in my life and Cassie among the best! She makes me want to keep coming back!Beyond how she’s served me so well, she’s clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her trade! She is always learning and growing! Give Cassie a try, you won’t be disappointed!
It is a new gym for us and it has been a wonderful experience. During the pandemic when the gyms were closed, they had free online classes so we could continue at-home workouts. When they opened up again, they utilized all safety precautions necessary for me to feel safe working out in a gym. My husband has the best personal trainer in Josh. He is encouraging and knowledgeable about exercise for older adults.

I’ve been a member at O2 since October, and I have truly fallen IN LOVE with the facility. Aside from the cleanliness, the staff is always welcoming and working with gym members to reach their fitness goals.They offer a diverse set of classes which are fun, yet challenging. In my opinion, all are guaranteed to prove results if consistent. My favorite parts of the facility are the functional fitness area and the various cardio machines. Just because there are so many to choose from WHILE maintaining a safe distance from others. The functional fitness area is great because I have plenty of space to do my own circuits without being in the way of others.I look forward to continuing my fitness journey at O2 ! 😆

Took a combat ladder class, using classpass credits. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The class was challenging, without feeling impossible for someone who is a beginner. Id come back again.

There is an Amazing Worker that stayed with me for 20 minutes after closing to make sure I was safe and got a ride home. My Lyft app really sucks sometimes, but I am so grateful for the gentleman here that watched out for me and showed such humanity. Thank you so much.
Looking for results? This is the right place to be! I trained with some of the best trainers in the area starting with Mike and Tylasia they were extremely knowledgeable and understanding. Both trainers are professional and will push you to your limits (in a good way) by the time you finish your workout you’ll want to book your next session right away. The facility is always clean and during these times I have a peace of mind knowing I am training in a safe environment.
I have been working with Isiah Rowley at the Brier Creek facility for over a year. Being over 65 he makes the workouts to include balance, stamina, and overall strength training. He gives advise on ways to improve the way I work out to prevent injury. The past year has been difficult being away from the gym but Isiah has made it easy to keep up with my schedules and make sure he meets my needs. Over the past months working with Isiah I can say my overall health has greatly improved as well as balance and coordination and I am thankful for the patience Isiah has working with me. Thanks

I have been going to O2 fitness since June 2019. I recently started personal training with Cassie, and I can’t say enough good things. She goes above and beyond for her clients. Cassie puts a lot of thought into the workouts that we do. Sometimes we do HIIT, some days we do leg day. Other days we do upper body or core. Basically she incorporates a lot of different methods in our workouts. I have yet to get bored!Cassie is very encouraging. She could probably double as a motivational speaker if she wanted to. She always says that if you show up ready to workout she’ll bring the enthusiasm. I would highly recommend training with her.
I LOVE this gym and their trainers. I was very apprehensive about getting back in the swing of things with such a large gym. Shane Kinnon greeted me and showed me their entire facility making me feel comfortable and cared about. Because of his knowledge and overall super upbeat and positive attitude I actually agreed to do a FREE personal training session. That was one of the hardest and greatest feelings I had in a very long time. Needless to say I signed up and have been seeing him 3 times a week ever since. Come to find out Shane was the fitness director and all his staff have that same helpful and high energy kind of vibe. Im deep into training with him and have already blown my goals away. I LOVE IT HERE. The gym is clean and equipment is always working or is fixed quickly. It’s never super crowded and people don’t take forever on machines. Justin and Karissa, two of the trainers are amazing and have became good friends of mine. Justin always tries to find time to set me up with a session and communication is great! 02 has become my second home!
I enjoy going to this gym and it’s very conveniently located in Brier Creek. My kid loves the Kids Club and literally rushes me everyday to hurry up so we can go to the gym so she can play. The staff is very friendly and it is clean and well maintained.
I paid for 36 personal training session. I had to move to Raleigh after I finished my 30 sessions. The contract is so tight that I could not get refund for remaining sessions.. And believe me personal training sessions are really costly.. the amount I lost is equal to 6 months plus membership there..
This is a great gym! Ty is honestly one of the best trainers I have ever met! The gym is always clean and overall has a great presence!
It has been a great experience working with Ty. She has structured my workouts so I am doing new exercises all the time. I am seeing great results in just a few months. I would recommend Ty if you are looking for a great trainer.

The staff are incredibly friendly and kind, and always willing to help when I mess up the lock on my locker! Josh C is a fantastic trainer as well and m bala (group class) still challenges me in the best way.I would highly recommend this facility. Love O2 BC!

Isaiah Rowley. First time ever having a trainer. I moved to Raleigh about six months ago for a well needed life style change. I haven’t worked out for atleast 7 years. I had a co-worker recommend me their trainer and bragged about him excessively. I didn’t think too much of it until I decided to change my health/fitness.I met Isaiah on a weekday around 6pm for a general meeting to discuss my goals/ambitions. My goal was for massive weight loss / increased endurance / overall health wellness. He took very detailed notes and was just as excited about my goals as I was. The next day I was at the gym at 5am for my first workout session. We trained so hard in the first 15 minutes, I was puking in the trash can. Every time we have an appointment he is there waiting for me, with my workout ready already planned out. He is always in a positive mood, always asking how my diet is going. He switches up the training so you’re not doing the same things everyday, he tells you what to do on days you’re not with him, and he sends you updates multiple times throughout the week to pump you up and check in on you. I’ve never had a trainer in my life, but I can tell from my experience and talking to others, that Isaiah Rowley is one of a kind. He eats/sleeps/breathes fitness. I’ve never met someone who is so adamant and focused on someone else’s success. It has been an incredible experience, and our workouts have become a highlight of my work week. I couldn’t run for 5 minutes straight without feeling like I was dying, do a regular push-up or even workout for more than 30 minutes at a light pace when I started. Now, I workout before and after our sessions. My fitness is on an entirely different level and I feel so much better. Not only have I gained an awesome trainer, I feel like I’ve gained a trustworthy friend who wants the best for my health.
I work out at the University O2 fitness in Durham and the one in Brier Creek. Both are absolutely beautiful, very clean and have the best variety of equipment. The staff is always friendly and greet you with a hello.

The gym was very clean and the staff was really friendly. Sydney in kids club does amazing with the kids and always makes sure she’s doing her best.
Plenty of equipment in great condition, whole place is very clean, and friendly staff. I love the functional turf area. Lastly, Josh Crawford is an awesome personal trainer! He was instrumental in helping me prep for a rugby tournament and keeps the workouts fresh and challenging.
I recently moved here from Orlando, Fl and was having trouble finding a gym that was similar to the fitness centers we had there. I came across O2 and new this would be my new home. All of the facilities are awesome, great staff and they do a great job keeping the gym safe and clean during the pandemic. 11/10 would recommend.

Isaiah Rowley is an experienced trainer who genuinely cares about helping you achieve your fitness goals. He pushes you past the limits that you place on yourself to enable you to reach places you didn’t think we’re possible. He is a and is well educated on different training styles that works best for you.

Love this gym. The fact that they have so many locations around the area make it very convenient. Their overall COVID response has been great too. I can’t recommend it enough.
I have loved O2 fitness for a long time. It is a happy medium between cost and available equipment and overall a great place to workout. Something Id like them to consider Is extending the hours till 10pm again. It is hard to get on equipment after work and having everyone that would come in between 7pm-10pm previously crammed into the same space as the everyone that would go in from 5pm-7pm is not the best way to social distance while getting a workout in and staying healthy.
Clean, kind, and motivates me to actually get out of bed at 5:30 am to get my behind to the gym. Without this gym for the past few months I would have lost my mind. For which I am eternally grateful.
