Walked in on a Saturday morning looking to get a support bearing pressed out. The man said they really dont do what I was asking for but he helped me anyway. I was happy to see such great customer service. He could have turned me away like a couple auto shops already did but instead he was very helpful and got the job taken care of for me.

Knowledgeable folk but the head was warped and they continued to resurface my head, didnt call me to ask if it was ok. I payed for the labor anyway $160 to resurface a head..? Idk I feel Ive ben conned I just know Ill never be going there again. That small lack of communication makes a world a difference.

After reading reviews I was excited to give them a call cause i find it so hard to find a trustworthy machine shop but I called the guy didnt seem to care at all about helping me and cut me off as quickly as he could and hung up. Very very unprofessional guys I expect better out of an older generation

Boyettes provides great engine building services and advice. We have been working with John and Doug for around five years and they do all the machine and head work for our SCCA race motors. Couldnt be happier with their services. I highly recommend them for any domestic motors and they also handle some speciality import engines too. Good folks, excellent services, and a pleasure to know.

Although I didn’t need his services they were honest enough to tell me that his shop wasn’t what I needed for my project. Instead they gave me a list of very reputable businesses that could handle my project. They seemed very knowledgeable and the fact they didn’t want to waste my time or money by pretending they gave me a great list of options! I’d recommend giving them a call if you need some work done!

Johnny did the machine work on my 67 Ford 352 block, everything was first rate, great cylinder cross-hatch, matched pistons to each bore, crank and cam work, all high quality workmanship. Now more than a year later, that engine is still purring and turning heads, no issues whatsoever. These folks know their stuff, will definitely go back for my next build.

If Google had 10, 100, 1000 stars max I would give them all. The Owner and staff are great, they help you reach the right decision for your engine and application. Knowledgeable, friendly people. This is what businesses should be like and you wont find a better place to build your engine. I went and had my engine built here and glad I did, I would take this shop over others with fancy shmancy, eye candy staff.

I called them on April 16th at 10:00am and asked if they could port and polish 2 cylinder heads for a chevy small block and the guy on the phone said I could do it myself and save $300 to $400. How do you guys make money if you turn people away?

I had Boyettes balance/blueprint my Mopar short block, and couldnt be happier. Took me a few months to get around to putting it together, and one of my pistons was bad from the factory. Stopped by this morning, and Johnny dropped what he was doing to verify my replacement and swap it over. Working with Boyettes, you get to draw on decades of experience. You get what you pay for, and these guys are worth it.
