My family of six has been using Dr Hoyle and his practice for over a year. We moved to Raleigh in 2018 and hopped around a bit trying different practices. Weve found Dr. Hoyle and his team to go above and beyond -- from working with insurance plans to secure coverage to delivering expert dental care, we have been very satisfied. Recently, Dr. Hoyle interrupted his familys holiday weekend plans and opened his office at 6:30pm to address an dental issue for one of my family members.

I have been seeing Dr Hoyle and his amazing team since I moved to Raleigh in 2010. I’ve moved around town and my commute to his office is 30-40 minutes now, but I refuse to change dentists! This crew takes such great care of me, and is always able to answer my questions. Super grateful for this crew of professionals!

I shouldn’t say I enjoy going to the dentist but I spent the better portion of 2 and a half hours on two different days, first a routine cleaning and next day a crown. I simply love all the folks there and don’t mind going to the dentist with Dr Robert Hoyle, the 2 Melissa’s and Lestina. They are so down to earth and friendly. They put you at ease!

They only got one star because I HAD to pick one. But the manager Melissa horrible service! Her attitude is unacceptable and she’s not understanding at all! If you have kids DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS DENTIST. My daughter has a huge abscess in her mouth and they wouldn’t see her AFTER I called and was given incorrect information

The staff is amazing, the dentist is super nice. But his filling work? Debatable. I got three fillings a couple weeks ago, and first off, they’re very jagged feeling, it hurts like hell to floss in those spots because it gets stuck and feels like I’m pulling the filling out, and I can’t even drink room temperature water without it feeling like a needle poking my nerve where two of the fillings are.

I have been going to Dr. Hoyle for 15 years. He and his team are amazing! I trust him completely and so does my whole family.

Well... I don’t like to go to the dentist but first connected with Dr. Hoyle for an emergency procedure. The staff is great and Dr. Hoyle is excellent. I highly recommend Raleigh Family Dentistry for your routine cleanings and needs... and for the bigger issues should they arise. And if you really don’t like going to the dentist, get the gas!

I have been coming here for 4 years and I LOVE it...They are so personable and make my visit seem as its a joy...I have never left unhappy or feeling like I was just a number in line...I will be bringing my 2 year old here soon as well...I highly recommend any of your dental needs should be done here..

Was in today for a root canal, best dental visit in a while. Usually can’t get entirely numbed, but Dr Mossey and Wendy made sure I was numb and comfy the whole time. They were both super patient with all my questions and I am so glad we decided to go through with the procedure today based on the mess of cavities that were found under the old crown.The receptionists are always attentive, cost is reasonable, and THEY ARE OPEN AT 7AM Y’ALL! And on Saturdays!

Do yourself a favor and find another dentist. This has been the worst experience for me. I went to get some fillings done on four teeth, on November 20 and 21 of last year. Last March 14, a big chunk of a filling, or maybe even the entire filling, came off on one of my teeth which just left a big gaping hole that was super painful. I couldnt eat or drink properly, but I understood that it was a Saturday night, and while it caused me so much pain, I didnt think it was enough to be called an emergency. I called the office and left a voicemail anyway, asking for a call back as soon as possible on Monday. Come Monday, I left another voicemail and called every 15 minutes from the time they opened at 7 AM to around 9 AM. I emailed them as well, but I did not get any answer at all, not even an acknowledgement. I thought maybe they closed because of Covid 19, but none of their website and Facebook page seemed to indicate so. I wanted to get my tooth fixed as soon as possible, so I decided to go get it fixed at another place which answered IMMEDIATELY and was able to squeeze me in for an appointment on the same day.The next day, March 17, I get an email from them saying that theyve decided that they were going to close their office, but I STILL did not get any call backs or email responses even though they clearly had the time to send out the notice. I am so disappointed and I am absolutely never going back to this place. A few days ago, a part of the filling for another tooth, different tooth from the one I got fixed at another place, fell out, but thankfully it wasnt the part that covered the hole. Still though, 4 months after getting my fillings done and they are already coming off? Sounds like sloppy work to me.

I have finally found a dentist that I love. =) They are friendly and make me feel quite better, even when Im apprehensive about treatment. Dr. Hoyle, Melissa and the entire staff always make me feel comfortable when I come in, and they do great work!

DONT COME HERE they use bad quality material on your teeth ! Got a filling and the cap came off three days after . Then ... I was scedhuled for a root canal and literally half way threw the guy didn’t finish it because he “had another client” SO UN-professional. SO when I was due to come back they said I couldn’t due to a decline charge on my card ... BUT they charged the wrong card and tried to lie about it and say I told them to charge that card they used which is a lie ... DONT GO TO THEM .

Dr. Hoyle has made the dentist office a happy place and taken good care us for the past 10 years now. We have always been greeted with a smile by Melissa and other wonderful staff, my kids enjoy going. So we highly recommend this office.

Raleigh Family Dentistry is amazing. First impressions are everything for me when I am seeking care, and I was blown away from the first call to the first appointment. My sons had the best experience with the dentist which was filling in for Dr. Hoyle because he was out of the office.But Melissa and the whole staff were amazing at listening to our concerns and answering all our questions. We had a bad experience at another dental office to where my kids was starting to not like going to the dentist, but Dr. Hoyles office changed that for them and they love it. Highly recommend this office to anyone.

I was so scared to go to the dentist for almost 12 years. I went to Raleigh Family Dentistry and they were so kind and gentle that I got over my fears. I moved away from wake county and I travel two hours now just for their services. Its hard to find a place that cares, they make me so comfortable and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

They worked with me so that the work I had done maximized my dental benefits and I paid less out of pocket spreading the work out a little bit. I was so impressed I started bringing my son there as well and have since referred other family members. =)

I have had many issues with my dental problems and two other dentist . Dr. Hoyle impressed me so much, the oral surgeon was amazing, personable and gentle, Dr. Hoyle without judgement gave me a realistic game plan for my numerous dental issues. The staff was fantastic, professional and I have never felt so comfortable in a dental chair in my 48 years. Highly, highly recommend!

I moved back to Raleigh and needed a dentist in the area. Dr. Hoyle, Melissa Hill, and Emily Farmer, as well as others, all took excellent care of me at an affordable price. I needed a cleaning as well as a way to bleach one tooth that had stained composite on it. They worked me into their schedule within two weeks, and then worked it out so I could come back the same day to get a filling when the bleach did not work! I love the way my teeth look now, and Dr. Hoyle stayed late so that I had clean white teeth before leaving on a vacation. I cant thank them enough, and I highly recommend Raleigh Family Dentistry!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this dentistry office. For about 5 years I travel about 45 minutes to see Dr. Hoyle. He is an amazing dentist, followed by an incredibly friendly staff and clean facility and I would recommend him to anyone.

My 5 yr old needed to have a crown and root canal as recommend by two different dentist practices. I came to R. T. Hoyle because he accepted my insurance. Let me say I wanted to cry tears of relief when the Doctor told me that we didnt need to do the crown and root canal. His opinion is to try the less invasive and less expensive approach and hope for the best. To some this might not be ideal however I couldnt fathom paying some much for a tooth that will fall out in a few years. THANK YOU so much for not being another money grabbing group and considering our needs.
