It’s a full experience going in, from being able to try some of the coffee to learning about the notes and seasonal offerings, this is our favorite place to get coffee in Raleigh.

We use their subscription service which is fantastic....never have to rush to the store because youre out of coffee! The beans are always fresh and usually roasted within the past two weeks or so as well. Staff were very knowledgeable when I called with a question about the best blend options for espresso.

Really good coffee. Cool location if you stop by and pick it up as well. I tend to buy it in bulk... because we drink a lot!!! Started off with Cowboy but really enjoy the El Salvador Dali Blend. They even helped us out with a few filters in the beginning of Covid!!

I was gifted a bag of Larry’s Secret Espresso #17 beans over a year ago, and haven’t bought any other coffee since. Before this I didn’t realize there could be that much of a difference in taste. However, from the moment I opened their bag of beans and smelled them, to the finished cup of espresso, I was overwhelmed with the exquisite difference. You won’t find a better cup of coffee anywhere!

What can I say? Ive gone through 60-90lb of Larrys Secret Espresso #17 in the past couple of years. Sometimes I walk up to the bean plant, order on Amazon, order from the website, and a couple times Ive gotten it over the counter at 42nd & Lawrence. I’m a huge Larry’s Coffee fan so it pains me to write this brief review. I should have known better, but I chose to spend $12 on a box of Larry’s Cowboy Blend “K” Cups for an old Keurig machine we use from time to time. I’m familiar with this roast but the K Cups have an almost chemical taste which stands out immediately. Perhaps I got a bad batch but I’ll return these to Fresh Market in Durham for a refund. In the future I’ll stick to good old fashioned drip coffee.

Decaf Twilight - loved it! I tasted a nutty, somewhat earthy flavor with hints of caramel. Cant find water processed decaf whole bean in regular grocery stores.

Im not a coffee drinker. I have avoided coffee most of my life. I want to tell you that if you EVER see a can of Larry’s nitro cold brew coffee for sale anywhere, buy it! Buy a whole case of it! This stuff is caffeine jet fuel that also happens to taste like the best cup of coffee from a can you’ve ever had.I’m not exaggerating. You can’t have a bad day drinking this stuff!(Shake gently and pour fast into a cup for maximum effect).This is the coffee crack you’ve been missing in your life. If you don’t live near Raleigh, order it online.

I like what the company is doing for NC coffee. I was able to order online and pick up a few years ago. Coffee is decent but nothing special.

I saw Larrys Coffee in the local store and before making a purchase that I would not enjoy I called and was mailed 3 sample packs. The receptionist answering the phone was pleasant and well receptive of the request. The samples came a few days later and I was very happy with the flavors. Both were medium roasts that I tried. The Cowboy Blend had a slight smoky flavor and reminded me of camping and making coffee over an open fire and the Dr. Mojo had nice hints of chocolate. I still have one left to try and will be back to update my review on the other flavor.

Just got a bag of Christmas blend as a gift. Mostmellow coffee with no bitterness I have ever had. I can’t wait to go in person and get bags of my own-I’ll be a regular customer.

I called Larrys Beans this week to purchase 20 bags of coffee as gifts for business executives and elected officials in Austin, TX. Wanting to give them a taste of something local, we felt Larrys Beans would be a nice fit. Unfortunately, I was greeted with such an off-hand and unwelcoming response from the person that I spoke to on the phone, that I opted to take our business elsewhere and purchased local coffee from someone that was interested in my business. $300 worth of coffee in one transaction was worth a polite manner to someone at least. Very disappointed, wont call again.

I picked up a bag of secret espresso from Whole Foods and didnt have clue about it. I pulled my first shots yesterday. Very nice crema and the taste was just outstanding.
