She walked me through everything and she made a horrible situation easy. From picking up my father from the hospital after his passing to me picking up his remains from the funeral home. My experience with Lori and her staff were nothing short of amazing. To start I had to call her for services around 1130 pm and again after midnight, and on many other occasions throughout the process. Each time she and her entire staff were attentive, patient, and understanding. The 2 gentlemen who picked up my Mom were also very professional and kind in handling my Mom. We had a truly wonderful experience with Lori. She was so kind and gentle over the phone which was something I really appreciated when my mom passed. She was able to answer all of my questions and she took care of everything for us. Mom was cremated in a very timely fashion and placed in a very nice temporary urn in a sealed up cardboard box. It was very comforting to know how well she was taken care of and carefully secured. The price was unbeatable, which was such another important thing for us in our time of loss. Although we hope it will be a long time before we are in need of Lori’s services again, she is certainly going to be the one we call.

I would like to talk about Lori and how she took care of me, my family and my son LaMar (Prince Antwan) Terry. She orchestrated getting him prepared for his trip back home to NC and held my hand throughout the entire process. If I had questions, she answered everyone with care and concern. This is the type of care you want during a difficult time like this. She and her staff carry out the service beautifully; things were done right to make sure everyone was kept safe with covid -19 restrictions in place. Lori thank you again and I love you. I have known this funeral home to be the greatest and most reasonable and accommodating funeral home in the Raleigh area. Services were rendered to meet every need possible. Even when it was difficult to locate a church facility and Pastor to do the euology, Mrs. Lori and her amazing staff stepped up to assist during the service as well. Prince Antwan Terry was 32 you had him laid out like he was 82 . Nothing youthful about the presentation. Church truck uncovered, he was all the way down in the casket, lighting was poor, the video camera persoh didnt have a clue what was being recorded. Sorry i was visiting from out of town and was highly disappointed. Thank God for the ministerial Staff as lori Funeral Service was forgettable

Loris Funeral Home buried my mom. I was so distraught during this time, I had mentally checked out. I called Lori one day before my mom died. We were in Woodbridge, Va, but grew up in NC. My mom died at 12:21 at 5:30 she was in NC at the funeral home. Her people were at the hospital within an hour after I called her to pick up my mom. I didnt do anything, Lori and staff took care of all my needs without me engaging very much. My mom looked exactly as everyone remembered her, and she was very sickly. I cant thank Loris funeral home enough for being professionals from start to finish. Her resources for all your needs is at her fingertips, you wont have to stress about anything. She is honest and has a heart bigger than the state of NC. She gave my mom a Louisiana Style funeral. It was awesome. Thanks again.

This was my first time dealing with a situation like this. By me being the only child everything fell on me to complete which is one of the hardest things to do. Meaning how can you grieve and focus on handling business? Mrs. Lori was wonderful I felt very comfortable talking with her on the phone. I attended the funeral of my daughters best friend on Sunday Sep. 16, 2018 and i have never experienced a funeral that was so unprofessional and ghetto in my life. There was no order. The funeral director gave the eulogy, the sermon, song the songs, and then if she didn’t sing she called on different staff members to sing if they was around to grab the microphone. The grieving biological mother was informed that if she didn’t stop crying out load that she would have to leave. She passed away August 30th. You would think as long as it took to have her funeral that it would have been some type of order and proper planning involved. There was 250 obituaries ordered that didn’t even make it through the family. The family didn’t even have that many people there. The obituary looked like it was written by a child. You could tell that her body wasn’t properly stored. You could smell her. Her hands had to be covered with gloves. Situation like this makes you wonder if its just for the money. What corners was cut or did they really even cared. This was not a funeral that you can look back on and say that it was beautiful. It did not represent who Chadiya was and what she stood for. She would not have been happy with it and I know the family was not either. I would never refer, recommend, or use this company ever.

I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS . There was a natural disaster “ hurricane “ and THIS LADY DID NOT HAVE A GENERATOR. That’s a big part knowing you are running a funeral home and that you’ll have someone deceased in your building, as well as thinking about having the common sense to store them properly, you never know when a natural disaster will happen ! I feel failed by lori’s funeral services.
