I highly recommend this laptop repair shop. I spoke to and worked with Brian, the in-store laptop repair man. He was excellent both on the phone and in person: very responsive, courteous, and understanding of my situation. I desperately needed to have my laptop repaired because it was a Friday afternoon and I had to use my laptop to study over the weekend for a 3-hour test the following Monday. Brian understood my situation and fit me into his tight schedule that Friday afternoon. The repair was fast; he explained to me what went wrong exactly and how he fixed my laptop. The cost was also very reasonable compared to the cost estimates given to me elsewhere that afternoon! I will definitely return to this laptop repair shop in case I have computer problems in the future. Thank you!
Wow, I just want to start off by saying that Warp Computers has exceeded my expectations when it came to repairing my broken Macbook Pro and their exceptional customer service. Also a huuuge thanks to Brian, who was very friendly and knowledgable the whole way through. I appreciate him communicating through the phone with me to provide answers on what went wrong, the estimated pricing, and how long it’d take to repair it. To my surprise, everything was all ready to go in less than a week! They’re all so dedicated and genuine in helping with their customer’s needs and concerns. Again, thank you guys so much. I will definitely be returning to Warp for my repairs!
This place is awesome.Excellent customer service at a moments notice. They helped me out several times with my laptop. I highly recommend them.Very skilled at what they do. Please do yourself and take your computer there. I have been going there for years and I work in the medical field. I would trust them with all my computer devices.
When it comes to customer service, whether in person or on the phone I feel it is important to treat others how you would like to be treated. Brian not only helped me to find a great laptop, but went over and beyond to make sure that the person receiving it gets exactly what was offered and more! If I could give Brian a 10 star rating, I definitely would! A HUGE THANKS for being informative, knowledgeable, and KIND! He deserves a raise for the kind of positive customer service I received. He went out of his way to make sure everything was right! THANK YOU to Warp Computers for employing people that truly care about their customer!
I took my laptop in for a new battery. Hassan ordered and had it in stock in days, and only needed my computer for half an hour to install. Several other places I called needed my computer FOR A WEEK, and if I wanted it quicker had an emergency fee of $100+ to turn around in 48 hours. Cant do that, as it is my work computer. Highly endorse Warp Computers!
Have been a client for many years. They know what they are doing. And they are open carry friendly
I highly recommend Warp Computers for your computer needs! I took 2 laptops to Hassan and Brian. They were very informative about issues and cost ... they were honest and straightforward ... and they performed excellent work for me. My computers are running fast and trouble free! So much more advantageous than trying to get work done in a timely manner at Best Buy!
Good local PC repair shop. Ive been going to them for over a decade now.
I had problems with my computer, at first I took it to Best Buy to see the so-called Geek Squad there is no on-site Geek Squad. I was told they had to send it out to see what was wrong with it and it would be between 4 to 6 weeks. I left there feeling like Best Buy didnt care about my business at all. I immediately went to Warp Computers. The gentlemen at Warp (Hassan and Brian) helped me out immediately. They had me back up and running the next day and I felt like they appreciated my business. I will definitely cut out the middle man (Best Buy) and continue to do future business with Warp Computers it feels good to have a company that shows they appreciate your business now days instead of one that just sees you a cash symbol. Brain even called me the next day to do a follow up on my computer, that is called customer service and feeling appreciated by a business.
After having been to GeekSquad and Intrex Computers I went to Warp Computers in Raleigh, NC where I met with Brian. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable he was also very personal unlike the GeekSquad and took a sincere interest in trying to help. My laptop was repaired within two days at a very reasonable price.
Customer service was 10 times better than the other two places I went and the price was half. Wish I had come here first but now that I know, I wont have to go anywhere else and I can really appreciate how lucky I was to find it!
A good place to have your computer fix, the only downside is that they take more than originally planned. So patience is advices, they would do a good job but it will take a couple of days more than what they originally scheduled.
I had a bit of an issue with the display on my laptop so i googled these guys and made the tip down, i was greeted by Derek he was so helpful, knowledgeable, and polite, he was able to fix my issue on the spot with little to no effort which was surprising because i did quite a bit of research on the issue myself and was unable to resolve it, i consider myself pretty tech savvy. the best part is he didnt even charge me he just said keep us in mind if you ever have any other issues and i definitely will be back it was a great experience and would recommend these guys to anyone with an issue big or small.
Brian at WARP did an amazing job saving my data & setting up a new machine for me!
I used Warp Computers several times and every time I was very impressed with their customer service. They were able to fix and restore data from my computer, that other stores couldn’t fix. I was very pleased with the way they handled my issues and the professionalism of the work. I recommend Warp Computers to anyone that is looking for good products and great customer service.
Much much better than our last computer tech
These guys went above and beyond helping me set up my home network. My wife and I run our business from our home and we needed our office running at top speed so going hard line was the best way to go. They got us up and running quick.Weve worked with them on 2 separate orders and theyve both been great. Would recommend!
Have been a customer of Warp Computers for years. They have fixed several of my computers and laptops. Excellent Service. They have fixed computers that other companies could not. I highly recommend.
They are willing to work with you and give clear description on whats wrong and what they can do to fix it.
This is a wonderful company. The workers definitely care about there customers. I have bought two computers from them so far.I had Bob helping me one day and even though he was busy he made the time to help me.I also am a business owner so I know the importance of good customer service and they went above and beyond to help me.I had another employee helping me the first time I came but I am not sure of his name but he was also very helpful. I want to say thank you for the outstanding customer service.
The one thing everyone cant live without nowadays is a computer, and i am glad we went to these guys to get our system worked on. Wonderful people, very efficient and knowledgeable. We let them know we need it back quickly and they did just that ! Thank you.
The most professional and cooperative team ever. My laptop broke and wouldnt run, Warp Computers were the only people who could save all my documents from the hard drive and backed it up on external hard drives.THANK YOU WARP COMPUTERS!!!Amazing service!!
I have received expert service from Warp Computers for several years now. Even bought a very good computer from them. I am very pleased with their service, their products and their integrity. I strongly recommend Warp Computers to anyone needing computer repairs or products.
Absolutely the best service in computer repair out there! Great prices and extremely knowledgeable. Not only do I game but run several computer based businesses. Bob saved our necks with a super quick turnaround!! Thank you so much!!!
Been having issues with my laptop screen for the last few months. I dropped it off, and they said they would take a look. They called back the next day to confirm that the screen was dying, and would need to be replaced. They quoted a reasonable price. It took them about a week to do the work, which is understandable, since they had to order a new screen. It came back looking like a brand new laptop. No more screen issues. Would definitely use them again.
I am new to this. My third REVIEW as of today.I am sharing my review left on yelp cause i am very happy with these guys. I brought my laptop in to get it fixed. It had no power. Richard was very kind and helpful, called back with a price and time frame that were very reasonable. I had them rush it since i was in a hurry to get my machine back and was very pleased with the outcome. Very kind and professional. Will go back to them for sure !!
Brian was very personable and knowledgeable!
Went by there today and i was looking for something specific. the guy bob at the front was able to assist me. several times before used this company even when they were in capitol blvd . these techs know what they are doing and are very nice. thumbs up these guys deserve this 5 star rating
Warp Computers service is professional, friendly and prompt. Our staff loves and enjoys the sound system Warp Computers has placed in our office. Highly recommended.
Great customer service!
Good folks to work with, know their stuff. I highly recommend them for good used machines as well as help with all sorts of computer issues.
Great service! Love working with them, always timely and helpful. Highly recommend for any computer and networking issues.
Great experience with Hassan and Warp. He wired an older townhouse I have with ethernet (two ports upstairs, two down). He gave the best quote and fit me into his schedule very quickly. He actually had to come out twice because of some structural issues with the house itself, but he was very flexible and came back on very short notice the second time.
Great place to do business. Warp computers more than a business their family!! #askgeraldinedarden.
Great service, competent and honest people. Have been doing business with Warp for at least 15 years, was never disappointed
Extremely knowledgeable staff with great prices and outstanding customer service! Will definitely be doing business with them again!
On time, reasonably priced, good work mounting my TV and hiding the wires
Dropped my computer off with one problem and picked it up with TWO new problems. When I went to pick my pc up the guy there tried to blame the age of my pc for not pulling up programs when it wasn’t doing that when I dropped it off, the pc is not even 5 years old. The second problem the cd/dvd rom drive will not open now when it did when I took it there. The guy said they glued the piece back on. I told them to not worry about putting it back on since they said there wasn’t a piece online and the only way to fix it was to replace the entire cd rom drive and that would be about an additional extra 150.00. I originally took it in to have the hinge fixed and the computer wiped clean. I dropped the computer off in March just to pick it up today in June to pay $208.11 for it not to work and have more problems. I was skeptical to take it in due to some of the bad reviews I read up here.***6/7/19Update: So upon further looking at my laptop they did not factory reset my pc at all. I knew the guys story at the store was fishy and he couldn’t tell a straight story and it sounded made up. So in all actuality I paid 208.11 just for them to only fix a hinge on my computer and they didn’t even do all of what they were supposed to do. So now I have a cd drive that won’t open. WHICH WAS NOT LIKE THAT WHEN I BOUGHT IT TO THEM. My laptop is a touchscreen and they HAVE MESSED UP THE CONFIGURATION AND SENSORY ON IT. Lastly to top it all off my computer looks like some Frankinfrack computer from the junk yard since they cracked it open at the top “to get the piece in for the hinge” and it was a pretty computer when I bought it in. I let that slide as first since I assumed the pc would work since it was “fixed”, but now that I see my computer is messed up and destroyed and was not fixed at all plus in horrible condition I am upset. I called them a left them a vm of what I found and that I will be up there in the morning to show them this and for them to fix it and that I shouldn’t have to pay since I already paid and how disappointed I was with them.***6/8/19Update: So I took my pc back in today and basically found out the guy that assisted me yesterday lied. His lie didn’t make sense. I told at the store yesterday that my computer wasn’t reset at, because it had the app on it for my HP printer, photos, and other downloads. He said wiping and reloading does just that. I asked well why would they asked me if I wanted everything backed up before doing that if that was the case. Talked to a different guy at the store today and he looked at it and said I was correct that is wasn’t reset at all and the wiping and reloading it only puts the factory default apps back on. He said that they would call me when the RESET and CD DRIVE was fixed. We’ll see how this will turn out.***6/12/19 Update: So these people have constantly out right lied. I will conclude if you have a pc that needs to be repaired either get repaired by the manufacturer of the pc (if it’s out of warranty see if they can still fix it) or buy a new one.P.S. WHENEVER YOU PICK UP YOUR PC PLEASE CHECK YOUR PC & ETC. BEFORE YOU WALK OUT OF THE STORE. CHECK FOR THINGS NOT ONLY THAT YOU TOOK IT IN THERE FOR, BUT ALSO THINGS THAT YOU DIDN’T TAKE IT IN THERE FOR.***Update6/19/19:The guy that was there tried to blame my pc for something again when I came to pick it up. There was tape on my computer screen to hold it together. When I asked him about it he said that it wasn’t coming open anymore than what it was when it was bought in. I told him there was no tape on it when I bought it back in nor was it opening/open. Then he finally stated that when they were working on it it started to come back open. So great YOU PUT TAPE ON SOMEONES COMPUTER AND THEY DIDNT EVEN BRING IT (BACK!!!!) LIKE THAT TO YOU. How do you even have the audacity or courage to put tape on someone’s computer.
Made a call to Warp Computers on a Tuesday & I was told the part needed would be ordered. Arrived on a Thursday, No part & no part ordered. I left the tablet with the promise of a call back on Monday, No call back. I called again the following Thursday @ 12:15 spoke with Richard who greeted me with a very Dry & Flat attitude and asked me who is this after I had to ask whom I was talking to. Richard had no idea of the status of my tablet nor did it appear as if he cared at all & gave me a hand-full of excuses. Asked for my number again & said I would get a call back around 2pm. Does any business in this town care at all about customer service? This is the second business that Ive tried to spend money at but there people skills & customer service professionalism or lack thereof, is KRAP!
I am an electronics tech who owns a company that repairs pro-audio and electronic musical instruments so I know how important customer service is and also how difficult it is these days for repair techs to get parts and support from global manufacturers of consumer electronics. Maybe those bad reviews were for the previous techs. Maybe those techs ran into problems getting parts or support, or the parts they received were made by a third party and did not work as expected. Much of todays consumer electronics are not designed with easy service in mind. We often encounter unexpected problems during repairs that the manufacturers have no solution for. The techs working there now are a couple of really nice guys who have helped me in the past and continue to help me often with free advice and component testing. I would recommend them as they will do their best to help get your unit running right.
Unfortunately a very bad experience - touch pad on my laptop stopped working and a little yellow light came on. I knew it was something simple to fix, but couldnt google it because the cursor wouldnt move. So I called Warp and the guy was sooo unhelpful. Told me I would probably have to leave the laptop, but even it he looked at it while I was there at the shop and it was just a simple fix, he would have to charge me $55.00. I repeat, I knew it was something simple and I was pretty darn sure he knew too. Even if he didnt, couldnt he have just taken 20 seconds and googled it for me and told me over the phone? Anyway, I called a friend who googled my question and in 20 seconds she found the answer - just double click the little yellow light, and I did. Fixed! But really too bad though, the Warp experience was so disappointing.
I used Home Advisor to find a few local contractors to run cabling in my home for internet. Warp contacted me and sent a quote over right away. The price was good but I felt that someone should have come to the house to evaluate the needs. We did choose to hire another company to complete the job. Upon a follow up phone call I informed them that we did have the job completed by another contractor that we received a quote from on Home Advisor. I was informed That was horrible b.c they have to pay for Leads from Home Advisor as well and it cost them money with no return when they dont get the job. With follow up calls like this I glad that I did not use this company for my Homes Project and will never use them for anything in the future.
Good dependable service.
This is how a company should be run!! Outstanding service. We recently had a problem with our optometry equipment. Not only did we receive quick professional service but they actually came out to our office the same day and addressed our issues. The equipment was old and obsolete with almost no chance of being repaired. Warp actually found a part, rebuilt our computer and helped walk the manufacturer of the equipment thru fixing our problem. Chis is nothing short of a computer genius and I would recommend this company without reservation. This is the company you want working on your computer!!!! Thanks guys.Jim Lewis See NC Eyecare
Great! We use Warp for all of our computer repairs! Thanks
Great prices and excelent customer service.
I have been doing business for about 20 yrs they are the best
Great place for al your IT hardware and software needs
These guys got right to the point. They gave me a direct quote on my laptop and i took it several other locations and they stood by their word. They recovered all my data from my corrupt hard drive that other businesses wouldnt since it was too old. But that didnt stop warped!
Went to pick up my laptop and they couldn’t find it. (They showed me a couple of laptops that weren’t mine, asking; (is this it?)) I was in disbelief. Spend 15 mins there and left without my laptop; they told me to come back the next day
Worst experience I ever had. They kept my computer well over two months, with sporadic follow-up calls. When they did call, it was to say they were still ordering another part to see if that would fix the issue with my Mac not powering up. They just kept ordering all kinds of parts and trying to see if that worked. Finally with no word in two weeks, and the 90-day mark coming up...I called them. MAGICALLY, my iMac was fixed and they had been trying to call me for two weeks. My phone was never disconnected, and I never had missed calls or voicemails. I think they were trying to get past 90-days to say my Mac was abandoned/unclaimed so they could resell it.Needless to say, I went off on the owner and told him to take out whatever shiz they put in that magically made it work after almost 3 months. When I no longer want to do business with them, its fixed. Then one of the guys, innocent bystander, tried to charge me for parts AND labor. I was like listen you are only going to charge me for labor...not all those random arse parts that you guys ordered.Got my Mac back and begrudgingly took it to Apple-Southpoint. Which is another place of misery.... Come to find out those jokers at Warp Computers, OF COURSE, hadnt even put my system back together correctly and had plugged all kinds of drives/fans/whatnot in completely WRONG places. Essentially Warp Computers hadnt even plugged my internal fan back in. So essentially I would have received my fixed Mac back and it would have eventually overheated and messed up even more.Apple could only agree to fix the internal power supply (the initial issue)...which took them THREE days to do, but they cant fixed the fluck-ups that Warp Computers did. So now I had to take my Mac to another third party provider to fix EVERYTHING Warp Computers ignorantly sabotaged/had no experience with. BUT THEY SAY THEY WORK ON MACS!Dont go to these clowns.Just got a report back regarding work Warp Computers did on my Mac:Many screws missingSD card module port cord completely broken (no longer operable)Speaker plugged in the completely wrong placeThanks to Warp Computer, if I wanted to fixed everything they broke, THAT WASNT BROKEN WHEN I TOOK IT IN THERE, it wouldnt make sense. One repair of Warp Computer, replacing the SD card module would cost $400.The guy at the new place said it wouldnt advise putting anymore money into at this pointWarp Computers are nothing but scammers.
Awesome People. Nice working with you, will be back !
Over priced junk. Good place if you need to pay an outragious price for an old piece of used equipment. If youre looking for something specific, its like digging in your used parts closet, and then paying extortion type prices.
It is the best choice available, Tigerdirect recommended them since they are going out of business, Best Buy even referred them since they were unable to work on my Mac. Very happy with the job performed.
I had brought a lad top had some problems We talked they tryed to fix and we couldnt find the problem .While I was on my lunch break..He said it would take to long .Warp gave me another Lab top and it works great ..and this what I call great customer service..Hard find now days .
Theyve had every obscure pc park that intrex didnt, less selection of typical components though. Great staff
They did everything they were supposed to quickly and it was pretty cheap
I went to them for a simple replacement of a keyboard letter that had fallen off, not only did they charge way too much, but they also screwed up my battery and tryed to convince me that I needed to repair something that was a marginal issue. After I took it back so they could fix the battery they screwed up, I decided to fix the marginal issue before it became a problem, however, if I had known that they would charge well over 100 dollars on something that equates to gluing two parts of the laptop together I would definitely not have done it. Also, after having them fix this issue, they screwed up yet another part of my computer (the wifi port) and Im currently borrowing a friends to write this. I would not reccomend them at all, in fact Id rather give money to a three year-old and have them fix it instead of giving it to Warp again.
Great service, great place!
These guys are great, extremely knowledgeable and professional.
I enjoy going there, love the fact they have the hard to find items. That iswhy i go there !
Very nice people, was able to cut a deal with them on my custom rig. Knowledgeable and helpful will use again
Neat place for hardware buying and support
Great company!! I highly recommend!!
Great quality computers and quick service
Amazing service!
Cheating reviews and took 3 weeks to return laptop. Never again.
They said they could buy my pc so I drove 45 minutes and when I got there they said I would have to come back on Monday because the manager wasnt there! This was on a Friday
Very bad company never recomend for any body steals the hard drive from my mac computer
Fast, knowledgeable, and resourceful
