The only good thing is the bands here don’t get me wrong but the security and service is absolutely awful, can bring a bag in bigger than you phone(yet bag, pocket and body searches were mandatory then you were told you can’t have it), was at the front of the line then tell us u can’t have that and lost our place in lone for vip and we’re last in the end, so l couldn’t have my feminine products from 4:30-11:30… and not to mention I couldn’t have my water and was to pay $5 for one and parking fee of $12 which is ridiculous…and once u walk in the doors you can NOT go back in or out to put anything up or grab anything so people with these big items were forced to hold everything. I would not recommend this place to anyone again the only reason we stayed was cause of the bands that was performing and we waited month for and didn’t wanna waste money.
I have been several times now and they are so professional and helpful. Cant wait to go again
Great place to see bands/groups...standing room and a few seat down seats upstairs for extra fee.
Nice quaint venue but with not so great acoustics.
Great venue. Great staff. Great sound, lights and sitelines!!
I went to see Skillet with my family and it was an amazing experience.
The best mid sized live venue in Raleigh. My only complaint is paying to park ($12) at a venue that Ive already paid to see a show at.
We drove almost 4 hours to take my son to his first concert here. He had a blast, and I was so happy that it was all ages, and all of the employees were so friendly to him. Everyone was very professional there were no fights no rude people there, and as a matter of fact everyone was really friendly. It made his first Concert Experience a really good one. During the main act we had to leave a little early because we did have the 4 hour drive back, and to our surprise the band that is his favorite (Avatar) which was the second band playing, was out by their tour bus signing autographs. So he got to meet two of the members of his favorite band. It was one of the best nights of his life he said! I highly recommend this place, and I wish there was a place like this in Roanoke. We have Phase 2 in Lynchburg, but honestly I like the Ritz better. We will be back!
Nice and enjoyable very spacious event center. Nice and friendly bartenders.
Great space!! Loved the location and the atmosphere.
Ive been here several times for concerts like Juicy J, Lil Uzi Vert, and most recently Da Baby. Its standing room only, which is ok because the place isnt huge to begin with. Even in the very back youre still pretty close to the stage and have a good view. There are plenty of bars so you dont have to wait very long to get a drink and an outside smoking area if you need it. It does tend to get kind of hot inside towards the end of the evening, which is expected. If youd like seats they have a VIP area upstairs you can pay extra to get into that come with seats and a table and an unobstructed view of the stage. Ive done that a few times as well but I like to be down in the crowd with everyone else, better concert experience to me. Ill continue to see shows here as long as its artists I like. 4 stars bc they shut the bars down once due to underage drinking and bc of how warm it gets inside and no re-entry allowed once you exit the building.
Awesome little place that offers incredible sound system dance floor & best of all the VIP level for an extra fee gets you appetizers, separate no wait bar or at your seat drink service, great views of the stage & entire lower level. Would be 5 stars for an outside patio that was more comfortable & allowed you to hear the music you paid to hear whilegetting some air &/or a smoke.
The venue isn’t as bad as some people are saying it is, I’ve been the this venue a few times to see Zomboy, adventure club and so many more. The staff has always been great the security is perfect I enjoy the added protection. The sound is good the lights are perfect. I think it all depends on who you are seeing and who’s running the lights. The drinks are a little pricey but that with any place you go. Parking isn’t that expensive I think I may have paid $5 to park up close.
Really cool concert venue. Just big enough to have a large enough crowd to make the show fun, but just small enough to make the show feel personal. They have a ton of fans inside that they turned on which cooled it down quickly. The bathrooms were super clean and updated recently. Overall I was really impressed.
Great venue for live music.
Went to see Anberlin. They have a decent selection of beverages and the Bartenders were all nice. Venue kept cool the whole time so that is always a plus.
Great place and great bands
Great sight lines and sound. The Stella Lounge was kind of pricey but its a fun perk if you have spare cash. Drink prices are reasonable. Smoking/vaping area out back. All in all a great place to see a show.
We had a blast DJing at your venue!
Great looking venue, but you better pregame if you plan on drinking here...
A great venue with affordable drinks. Even in the rain, security was able to move us fast through the line. The lighting and effects create a perfect atmosphere for any concert. Also the sound was tuned perfectly. Not too much reverb and not too loud, it was perfect. I went to see A Boogie, and it was one of the best nights of my life.
The decor was awesome and lots of room. Only a 4 because they wouldnt let us stand on the rails in VIP even though there wasnt any reason not to and it was one of the best places to see.
Cool spot for a up close and personal experience with the artist.
Prefect location small venue, This allows you to see the Performer better. I saw K. Michelle there she was Amazing!
I hadnt been here in years! My wife and I had a blast at the Anberlin show. Nice and cozy venue. Parking was easy, close, and cheap. Only thing I would have changed is I would have purchased the balcony tickets instead of floor. We still had a great time!
The Ritz is an awesome place to listen to local bands. I had the best time at The Grungefest and couldnt have enjoyed myself more. The customer service is outta this world. Bathrooms are super clean. Bartenders are the best esp Nichole. Everytime I go back she remembers me and that extra effort makes it worth every penny you spend. So splurge just a little you wont regret it. I dont know any venue that can quite beat The Ritz.
Awesome place to see a show. Great acoustics and decent beer selection. Parking is iffy so I try to uber when I can.
Wow! What a great venue for EDM concerts! The crowds are always fun and the club staff are great! The water bottles are $4 but hey what can you do? (there is also free water cups though in the back). Parking is cheap and very convenient.
1st time event. Good Security,Small islands/Trays would be great for drink placement.Parking ok, but $5 instead of $7 would be better.$$
Great space, nice staff, good drinks ok prices!
Awesome venue! Great acoustics!
I love it! Almost everything about it, from the security to the size of the venue. I just had to deduct a star for the cost of parking @ $7.00 it SHOULD BE FREE.
Sound quality is much improved over the old days but the vocals do get drowned out on occasion. Plenty of bar areas around the venue and enough bathrooms to keep the lines reasonable.
Went to see alan Walker it was awesome u can see the stage where ever u are standing had a really good time
Great venue. Its definitely worth it to line up early and get up front. Drinks are pricey but good.
Great place for love music! Rock, EDM, metal, country, whatever your into, they get it.
The concert was AMAZING! Its a more intimate venue. Definitely should check it out.
The VIP/Premium Seating is AMAZING!!
Great live music venue! Saw The Dead South there, Jan 17, 2020
Raleighs best venue for music. Besides the parking, which is only paid parking. However it does get watched by the security there. Lines are usually pretty quick and prompt. The bars are very well placed. Typical music venue pricing which is high but like I said typical for the venue types. The stage is great. I have been here for a variety of shows and always have a. Great view. The balcony area seems cool, I have never been up there though. Like to hug the barricade all the time. Will always return here when my favorite bands show up.
Awesome...incredible..mind numbing..best show ive been to in 20 years!!
Great place to see bands playing for close up viewing
Concerts are great. You can opt for the seated VIP section if that works. We just saw PJ Morton. Fiyah.
A great place to catch a concert.... caters to all types of concertgoers with both general admission pit access or premium balcony seating for those who dont need to get caught up in the mosh pit. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Stella Lounge is a nice touch for those who pay extra for the premium seating options. Acoustics are solid. The only significant negative I can come up with are the three large posts tha cross the center of the building which can cause sightline issues. Ill be back for future shows
Great time with Blackberry Smoke!
Saw amity affliction here gah I love them
First time at the Ritz seeing Tove Lo... Nice venue.
Although small, its a pretty typical layout of a concert venue.
The staff was stellar!!! From a speedy entry, to great referrals on beer, and a special shout out to Sam! We had an absolutely amazing time at the Janelle Monae concert and this may be a favorite venue from now on in Raleigh. Id love a few places to sit down outside of the VIP area, but beyond that this place is perfect!
This is a great venue for a large crowd that still feels intimate. Some bands you hear down at red hat downtown sound completely different here. Its always a good time. Safe. Super expensive drinks. Every time I come here I have at least one super positive chat with someone between bands. Definitely a fun time.Beware the massive column in the middle of the floor.
I go here over 6 times a year for concerts and every time I go, I message the establishment and a woman named Cherry always takes care of my ticket requests and provides an overall great experience.
I have heard some things about this place and I am so happy to report that The Ritz is a great venue! I really enjoyed my time there and had a lot of fun. The staff was great and the experience was fantastic. The drinks were a bit pricey, but tasted better than I thought they would. The venue itself is bigger than I expected, especially if you just look at the building from the outside. The parking situation is a bit precarious, but I dont really think thats their fault and more of a real estate issue.
Rakim concert. No bad seats. Standing room only. The upstairs seating is too expensive. I like this place though. Had good time.
The venue is alright. They have a nice lounge upstairs but I havent had the best experiences with the staff. I will give them a ok rating. On a good note, the acoustics were good as well as the lighting
I loved it there. They alow all ages but only 21 and up can drink
The venue is great! Very clean and well managed. Ill defiantly go back for future shows.
A great indoor venue to see any live act. Easy to get a drink or a beer at multiple bars. Super nice bartenders and staff.
Easy to get into, they pack in as many people as possible and do not keep on top of what people do in the establishment. Need more security keeping the drunks straight. Venue is laid out well and offers great headliners
T love the experience i had seeing Ella Mai...the sound system was awesome
Great headliners & the chaos is organized, but its hot like fire.(so bring yo kerchiefs ya filthy headbangers)
Great venue that is set up conveniently for people looking to drink or just enjoy a great show
Great place for a concert with great sound!
Was here for the H.E.R. show back in Nov, this is a very spacious venue, with about 5-6 bars on the lower area. Standing room only, aside from a few seats that are upstairs and right in front of the balcony area.
Attended the Ella Mai concert, hadnt been here in over 20 years. Pleased.
Saw Scotty McCreery and it was an awesome show and a great venue. The staff was all extremely friendly and polite. Getting inside was quick and painless and I was just overall impressed.
Very professional and kind staff always makes it a great experience to attend shows. 2 down and looking forward to more!
Nice show, plenty of people showed up so it was quite lively, comfortable, free show but food and drinks expensive.
My first concert at the Ritz was everything Id hoped it would be. I look forward to more.
Trying to get a hold of them but still had a great timeLost jade pieces there and havent heard back or even gotten ahold of anyone besides that had a great time
