J and J were great to work with. They were flexible about changes to our order, communicated well about their arrival and setup timeline, and the tent, tables, and chairs looked great. They made it so easy!

Used them for an outdoor wedding ceremony and it was beautiful everyone loved the tent the lights and the fans because of how muggy it was. The set up and take down crew was very sweet and patient in making sure they set up exactly how I wanted and was on time which was a plus, I even had to go run an errand and they had a question about where to set something and waited until I came back before doing anything which really spoke volumes as my other vendors took it upon themselves to make their own decisions, even told the manager when they came and picked everything up how great the team was. Will definitely be recommending to friends in the future.

J&J rentals were able to deliver for me at the last minute for my 50th Birthday party. Abby and the party set up crew was amazing!!! I definitely recommend their services and will be using them for all my parties! everything was so nice that I want to plan another party just to get the beautiful set up!!! We rented all our needs for a backyard wedding from J&J and the experience was so positive that I have recommended them to two people this past week. James was so welcoming and positive when we stopped by to discuss our needs and get an estimate. He was then very patient and prompt in responding to our phone calls and emails with subsequent questions. It was a Saturday wedding and the crew arrived early on Friday to set up the tent, which gave us plenty of time to organize and decorate. After laying everything on the ground, they were extremely accommodating as I suggested moving the tent a bit to the back, then a bit to the right. The neighbors didnt even know that a tent was being set up as the crew was extremely quiet. They were easy to talk to and very polite. I contacted James later on Friday requesting an additional item, which was delivered first thing Saturday morning. Taking the tent down was as simple and seamless as setting it up and we truly enjoyed working with this company and their crew members. I have worked with several vendors in preparation for this wedding and J & J Tent and Party Rental truly put care in Customer Care. We are very pleased with this experience and we now know whom to approach with our tent and part rentals.

J and J helped to make our outdoor low country boil a huge success! Jim and Rick were a huge help, answered all of our many questions, offered great ideas and suggestions, and in general, did a fabulous job communicating and then delivering and setting everything up. We rented everything from J&J - a 20x30 tent, a marquis tent, lighting, tables, tablecloths, heaters and even pipe and drape to transform our garage. Our guests had a fabulous time and couldnt stop talking about how great things looked. All credit goes to J&J for the ideas and set up. They also were early to pick up the items and were simply great to work with. Wed highly recommend J&J and well definitely use them again for our future needs.

I called and spoke with Jim 3 times and went over pricing and the date of my event. He told me he would send an email confirming everything. I never received it. When I called about a week later to see what happened, they didnt even have my information reserved. We are talking about a $1,000 rental. Of course, they no longer have the tent available or my date. His response...things happen. Very dissatisfied with their customer service.

My fiance was amazed with the level of customer service we received. We only needed chairs for our baby shower but from beginning to end they were a pleasure to deal with. We will be using them again!

Wonderful company that was super accommodating to our event planning needs. We rented a tent to throw a wedding reception during the first week of May this year. The entire booking process with J&J was so easy and painless. The man who helped me in picking our the Tent, Tables, and Chairs, was very well informed and guided us in picking out everything we needed to make sure our event went off without a hitch! They have plenty of options on their website and provide nearly everything you need to plan an event! They even allowed us to make additions to our reservation (a whole second tent and extra tables) a few days before our event due to a rain forecast without any hassle.Set-up was also easy, they came out the day before the event to put up the tent and place the tables and chairs and came back the day after the event to break everything down and pack up. Would highly recommend this company if you ever need to rent a tent for an outdoor event!

I had a wedding event on 6/27/2020 and I asked for as tent big enough to have room for tables chairs buffet dj and 80 people i got a 20 by 50 tent it was not big enough the space was really tight the tent was so low that the side walls was laying on the ground and the cherry wood dance floor came apart as people where dancing not worth the 216 to rent i just wish the tent was bigger and higher and the dance floor was more bigger and stable i will use this company again i just need to make it clear i need moving room .

We used J&J when we came into town for a company event. They were exceptional. The items were very clean and looked like new. The linens they suggested worked perfect. Great people to work with.

Contacted Rick for a VERY last minute dance floor need for a Client event hosted onsite at our venue, due to another Vendors last-minute cancellation. Rick was extremely helpful and provided a quote within a half-hour, along with pictures, so our Client could choose the option that would best work with their theme/decor.In addition to accommodating us with only a 3-day lead time, Rick was also able to work with a very short drop-off and pick-up window (5 hr window either way) and after hours pick-up.We would use J&J Tent and Party rentals again based on the OUTSTANDING customer service alone, but the dance floor (cherry wood) was basically brand new and our Client was happier with this than the original vendors floor. Would highly recommend this company for dance floor rentals!!

I co-run a marketing networking group here in Raleigh. Its critical to have places to have people to sit that are comfortable. Its also a service that I need because I dont have time to do everything.Jim and his crew are a delight to work with. If I could rate my experience with J, the owner of J&J, with 0 stars, I would. Event planners, especially future brides, beware: this man is incredible disorganized, unprofessional, and sleezy. He showed up the day before a wedding with the wrong linens and tried to charge last minute for something that was not ordered then backpedaled saying that he was including it because he was being nice for screwing up another detail with the order. As someone who has planned her own wedding, this business is a nightmare and he started cursing and yelling at the bride during her own ceremony rehearsal. He blames others without taking responsibility for his own mistakes. Stay far, far away.

In arranging my sons wedding in North Carolina from Oregon, I had to choose an unknown company to find all our supplies. J and J Tent and Party Rentals worked with me through many phone calls, emails and a lot of order changes to put together the perfect wedding day. Even at the last minute when the tent size we ordered was wrong, he procured the tent size needed from another company as his were booked, so that everything was there. His tent set-up and removal was efficient and Jimmy even procured all the city permits for Lake Johnson, the site of the wedding He made suggestions which were helpful, including party lights for the tent .even though most of the event was in summer daylight. The lit tent against the lake turned out to be one of the magical effects. Along with the tent, he provided most of the linens, the chairs, the dishes, the silverware and the glasses. He and his team set everything us for the ceremony and even picked it up the same night between 11:00 and midnight at the end of our rental period. I felt this company went beyond the call to ensure our family and Brian and Antonio a very special event.

These guys saved my baby shower at the last minute when the party rental people or should I say this one guy who never showed up or to deliver my tables n chairs.
