We used them for a business event and it was an easy and enjoyable process. All the equipment was in good shape and functioned properly. Our account rep Lauren and the set up manager Don were great to work with. We plan on working with them again and cannot recommend their services enough!

We have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. We needed an emergency table for my daughters wedding and they would not help me. They said I had to spend at least $300.We have spent thousands of $ with them over the years, but never again.The company down the street was more than willing to help us an emergency for less than $10.00

Im from out of town and was in desperate need of a projector, last minute. I was worried about finding a quality projector, at a reasonable price. DeeJays was able to fix me up with one that they had available for the same day I called! The ladies in the office were so kind and walked me through the steps of how to use it. Kayce from DeeJays is amazing. It was our first time throwing an event like the one she helped with. She was very knowledgeable about the products and portions. We had a ton of changes to our order but she kept up and everything was delivered perfectly. The delivery drivers were great as well. I have used this company in the past and have had the same results! I would highly recommend!

I had first used DeeJays for a professional event at my work. We rented several large inflatables, cotton candy and popcorn machines, among other fun lawn games. We had such a great experience, I used them again for my wedding! They have very reasonable prices and pick-up/drop-off policies. Some of my younger guests walked off with some game pieces, but the deejays staff were very understanding and honest about the cost of replacement. Actually, it ended up being less than the item cost online, which was a nice surprise! I plan to continue to use deejays in the future. They also have a very cute warehouse cat.

Need to rent something??? DeeJays is the place for YOU! We have used this place twice and it is THE BEST! We got chairs and tents for our sons graduation. The chairs were clean and in excellent condition. The tents were in great shape and easy to put up and take down. I also, just got table linens from here and they were extremely helpful. Not only did they have the perfect color and size, after the party was over all I had to do was put the linens in the bag provided and drop them off by the store. This is THE BEST rental place in Raleigh! The staff is extremely helpful and truly goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. There are not many places that offer true customer service....This IS a great place to go if you need to rent something!

We had hired DeeJays to supply a 40 x 40 tent along with a 20 x 20 tent for our wedding along with some other items (Chairs/Tables/Etc). Right from the start they were absolutely the easiest of our vendors to work with. Their prices are very competitive and if you are working within a certain budget they will work with you to help provide the best service/equipment to you. They also have enough equipment to meet all of your needs no matter what you are looking for. This is a big plus as a lot of the other vendors out there may not have certain items and you end up having to piecemeal everything together. For example, we wanted to originally have a 40 x 40 solid white tent but changed our minds halfway through to a 40 x 40 clear top tent which they also had in stock and looks absolutely amazing when set up. Not all event companies we approached were that flexible with what we were after. Another big bonus is that DeeJays was also able to supply a rain plan in the event we needed extra coverage for our, mostly, outdoor wedding which thankfully we did not have to execute. Id highly recommend you reach out to DeeJays if you putting on a event, big or small, as they are absolutely wonderful to work with!

We used DeeJays for our wedding rentals, and we are so happy we did! They were easily one of the best vendors we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We worked exclusively with Lauren to complete our order, but everyone we encountered at the warehouse was friendly, professional, and super organized. The delivery guys who set everything up were also very professional and organized and were so good about keeping us in the loop. Lauren was always very responsive via email or phone and was so flexible to the tons of changes I made, some of them even 2 days before our wedding! The warehouse wasnt the showiest or most modern we visited, but that made absolutely no difference in the quality of products and services we received from Deejays - definitely something to keep in mind when comparing rental companies. We felt that the price we paid was very fair, especially since everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

I rented everything needed for a unique graduation party for my son. Besides the standard chairs and tables, we had a frozen drink maker, cotton candy machine and popcorn machine for a nice carnival theme. Everything was in working order and easy to use. The staff was also very professional and helpful. From making the reservation to the drop off and pick up of rental items, everyone was wonderful! I coordinated the UNC Science Expo this year, and we needed DeeJay’s to help us set up tents, tables, and chairs to host about 15,000 visitors. They were nothing short of AMAZING. We have been using them for several years now, and every year we are impressed with how professional they are. We made several last minute changes to our order, and they were extremely accommodating. I can not recommend them highly enough.

I cannot say enough great things about Kayce and Deejays! I planned my fall North Carolina wedding from Los Angeles and my experience was a smooth one. Everyone was professional yet warm and so understanding - that southern charm! Kayce was so communicative the entire way through. I dont think Ive ever exchanged that many emails in my life!She offered her expertise, personal experiences with her own wedding and thought of things I would have never been able to think of. Every detail was meticulously kept and so well organized. The team that came out assembled my tent like it was toy and packed it up upon removal leaving no trace behind.I toured many other rental facilities and I am so glad I went with Deejays. I felt like a valued patron and recommend them HIGHLY!

The customer service is horrible. I had an issue with a miss count of chairs and was told a manager would be notified and they will call me back. I never heard from them even after I attempted to reach them multiple times. I tried to get the difference applied to my new rental and was told a difference wasnt found(thats a lie because the worker counted and said it was off) Kaycee is super passive aggressive and when I asked to speak to a manager several times she said no...and would not give me their info. At this point my concern is not the difference owed but the lack of customer service and professionalism.After this event I will never use them or refer them to anyone else.*update* Don the owner called not to speak about what happened or to hear what my concern was(infact when I asked him did he want to hear my concern he said it didnt matter)but to apologize and say we should part ways. I hung up because Im not about to argue about how customers should be treated, especially not to the so called owner who should know better.Glad my event was not big and I can find chairs elsewhere...but beware they clearly dont care about the customers.Read the other low reviews and you will see this is nothing new for them. Smh

I actually wanted to rate this company 3.5 stars, but theres no option for this rating. Im going to try and make this review as unbiased as possible just on the principle of fairness.This was my first time renting any type of furniture, and I needed to rent just a table, chairs and table cloth to accommodate almost 20 family members for the holidays.Here are the pros:- DeeJays was nice and helpful once I called to reserve items. It was easy to reserve and the fact that they still had inventory near the holidays for me was a saving grace.- Since this was my first time renting furniture, I assumed it was going to be expensive, but the prices for renting were very affordable. If I had a pickup truck to pick up the items myself, the prices would be extremely cheap.- I cant always work from home, so the fact that I could sign papers electronically before the items were delivered was very convenient.- I received a courtesy call from the delivery guys before the items were delivered, so I knew when the items were en route. Id received a courtesy call a couple of hours in advance of the delivery guys from the company itself saying that my items would be delivered at a certain time.Here is the rather annoying con:Communication isnt very clearTo reiterate, I needed the aforementioned rentals for Thanksgiving, so DeeJays was well aware. After reading/signing paperwork, my event date was listed as 11/26 - 11/30. Mind you, no one really said anything in particular to me about the protocol for picking up items. This date range was on ALL my paperwork, so I was under the impression that I would be able to set up chairs on 11/26, take down on 11/29 (in the way the delivery was dropped off), and DeeJays would pick up the items on 11/30. I found out otherwise after I was awakened from sleep after some pickup guys from DeeJays rang my doorbell in the morning on 11/29. I thought there may have been some mistake so I let them know that my paperwork says the items are supposed to be picked up 11/30. After I let them know, I went back to my paperwork to see if I maybe missed some details, and I then see on the paperwork that was placed with the actual delivery that the items can be picked up Friday OR Saturday (DeeJays to advise customer of date scheduled). This note is highlighted in the notes section AND End: 11/30/2019 is highlighted.I then get a call from the company. I told the rep that I thought the items were supposed to be picked up on 11/30, not 11/29. She basically referred me to the notes on the paperwork. To which I responded that I didnt get a call or any notice from DeeJays that they were en route or that they would be picking up the items in the morning on 11/29. She then admitted that some other customers had the same issue and that something may have happened with the phones, but that she personally made phone calls on 11/26 to give pickup notices to customers and if they didnt pick up, she left voicemails. After I hung up the phone, I looked at my voicemail log and I didnt receive any voicemail from DeeJays about when they were going to pick up the items. So, ultimately how this played out is I had to get dressed quickly and rush to meet the pickup guys downstairs and they helped pack up the table, chairs and linen. Being the detailed person that I am, that experience was not fun because I had to do everything in a rush, so I may have missed some items. If pickup time was communicated clearly to me, I wouldve known how to schedule my time and make sure that everything was packed up the way it was delivered.This review was as fair as I could make it. In the beginning, my experience with DeeJays was good. I was actually considering going with this company again for Christmas because I will be hosting again and around 40 people will be attending. So, this means more tables, chairs and linen are needed. DeeJays was a test for me to see if I could work with them for Christmas. At this point, I dont know if I will because of my latter experience. Well see.

If I could give it zero stars I would! This place told me that in a 60 inch table 10 people would fit snug. Then tried telling me that I lied and no one said that there. Then said that maybe another rental company said it. Then even said that it was probably the lady at the wedding venue that told me that! The lady at the venue has no tables and chairs so she would not have known anything about that! My wedding came and there were 20 tables that fit 8 snug for 160 people. Probably about 210 people showed up and 50 people were standing because of this place!

Extremely helpful staff, who are very safety-conscious. I rented a helium tank and they helped load it and recommended keeping a window open in case of a leaky cylinder. I will continue to rent from this place.

I had a wedding this past weekend and used DeeJays rentals for my chairs, linens and piping for our backdrop. The staff was friendly and helped me every time I needed something. The price was very good and the quality was terrific! The table runners were a higher quality than I expected and really changed the look of the room. I will use DeeJay rentals for any event I am doing in the future! Im so glad I found this company. The delivery of the chairs to the wedding was right on time, I didnt have to worry about anything. The delivery gentlemen stayed and helped me to make sure I had the piping set up the way I wanted. Best rental company Ive experienced!

If you are reading this, you are on the right track!The staff at DeeJays were AMAZING! Not only were they friendly, but also very, very knowledgeable. I learned so much about PA systems just by renting a pair of speakers. The speakers themselves performed great. So much so that I even inquired about purchasing them (I still might).

I used DeeJays Rentals for a Color Run that I held this fall. I got tables, chairs, inflatables, a sound system, and a few more items. The office staff was awesome about getting back to me to make sure my order was correct. On the morning of, DeeJays showed up exactly when they said they would and set everything up where I wanted them, including inflatables! They called/texted when they were on their way in the morning and again when they were on their way back so I knew exactly when to expect them. I am already using DeeJays Rentals again for an event I have coming up so I definitely recommend them!

We planned an outdoor wedding and used DeeJays for the tent, tables, chairs/sashes... all were timely, setup professionally with attention to detail and awesome professional service. The price was very affordable. We would use DeeJays again for sure.

The customer service was excellent but as I told them the pipes are rusted and it was hard trying to get them screwed into the base that were also rusted so they definitely need to upgrade or restore. As for the drapes the only place that had long enough white drapes in the area kudos.

Our wedding and reception were at different locations. Setup times were tight. There was a lot of planning with the DeeJays office (Amanda). Every requirement was clearly documented in the contract. Deejays executed flawlessly.

My daughters wedding was in August and we used DeeJays for the entire event. They provided everything we asked for, from multiple colored table linens to the old timey barrel keg bars. They allowed me in the showroom so that I could see different arrangements of tableware against the tablecloths. We made quite a few changes, as my daughter is very particular and wanted everything just so. Everyone was helpful and considerate.I was skeptical of an outdoor wedding. The young lady I was working with made me feel like I was an inconvenience when it came down to showing me the showroom. They quoted me one price but when I got there it was different. The rules of putting 100% deposit wasnt explained over the phone only 50%. I told the young lady that Im going to my car to get more money and the young lady yells out dont leave we still have your license (as if I wasnt going to pay). Lastly she explains that we will need the remaining payment once you pick up(duhhhh) as if I didnt know that.....I WONDER IF ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED AND QUESTIONED LIKE THAT). Wasnt very welcoming. Im going back to classic rentals regardless how far they are to me!!!!!

As a small business owner, I absolutely dread doing this, but think it is important to let a consumer know about a poor product.Kayce is a sweet pea, and is very good about getting back to her clients, however, their dance floor was hands down the most expensive thing I have ever had to pay for, as well as the worst experience walking or dancing on anything. Ever.They mopped the floor down with a product that made it so slippery, that our dancers (for our showcase) were slipping with every step they took.They were so upset, and it reflected poorly on myself and my company, as they felt it was a huge liability.I could have been sued. And this company chose not to reimburse me one single penny, after I wasted close to $3,000.00 on their horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE floor. I will never use them again, and will be sure to let anyone who asks where the floor came from, that it was this company.Kayce, you are the only star in that company. You, yourself, are worth way more. But the company, and floor deserve zero.

Im the mother-of-the-groom and the wedding festivities were all held at our home. With all the details involved in planning an at-home wedding & weekend of wedding events, we needed vendors who were professional, reliable, and flexible. DeeJays Event Rentals was by far the best vendor that we used for our events. Kayce walked us through, with great precision, to help us decide exactly what we needed, and when we bumped up our needs to include doing our own catering she came through with all the extras. DeeJays was extremely flexible as the wedding date neared and we needed to add and remove items. Everything was delivered and installed ahead of time so that we didnt have to worry about having everything in place. While in the path of an approaching tropical storm we had plenty to worry about, but DeeJays came through for us and truly created the only calm before the storm! While other vendors used the tropical storm as an excuse to not perform up to expectations, DeeJays provided excellent customer service. Many thanks to Kayce and DeeJays. I cant imagine any rental vendor being easier or nicer to deal with.

Need a tent or equipment then DeeJays is where you need to go. Fantastic people, personable on the phone, great set up and they made the process so easy. I worked with DeeJays on a small scale last year when I remarried for some sound equipment. Easy, fast no fuss. Then when My daughter got married this year I started communicating with them the needs and my vision. I had one person that worked on the quote and was my contact (Kayce Ward) she communicated quickly and reworked the quote as many times as needed....even after I made a deposit a change needed made. When set up of the tent came it was fast, the set up crew were so nice and pleasant, friendly. Just made the stress and worry of a large project melt away for me. I will not use another company other than DeeJays in the future. Fantastic company!!!

Had no problems renting a couple dozen padded chairs. I was worried the padding might be raggedy or mildewy or something, but everything was clean and nice.

I cant say enough about how wonderful of a company Dee Jays is!! From their customer service on the phone to the way they set up for an event, top notch service! We had a problem with our power cords and they delivered us two Honda generators within 30 minutes, even though the trucks had left to set up. Someone loaded it in their personal truck and ran it out to us so our event could go on as planned. They we out of our way to make sure we had a great time and took all the stress out of planning a huge customer appreciation day at Leith Honda! These people do not go by their contract they tell you when return that you will be refunded 25 dollars if the unit is clean I returned clean and now its a process but when you return one of there employees check the grill back in and looked inside to see if it was clean and had to sign off on the return very unhappy with this because it not stated in the contract that you have to wait for the return of money thats owed to you

Rude!! Kasey is an idiot and no one was helpful. Went three different times was told my order was completed Saturday until Monday morning after not receiving a call back I go there to find they do not have what I need! They had written down my card information and it was laying on kaseys desk for anyone to see. I will def never let any of my friends or party planner recommend this place again the only thing they can come up with is bad excuses for their lazy ass employees!!

Just called for pricing and they wont send you your quote unless your paying over a certain amount of money.. been in this business for a long time and I never heard of this

Sometimes you dont get what you want but something really close and they dont do too well at follow ups.
