Did not like the cleaning. Sears contracted out the job. Did not mention this on website when I made the appointment. The cleaning was not done with the typical steam cleaning but with a rolling brush device that did not clean the way I was expecting. Good luck using Sears, I will NOT do this again.

Weve used Sears Carpet / Green Clean for over 15 years. For the first time in (over 15 years) I am unhappy with the service. In our main area (busiest / most traffic) our technician failed to move our couch, which has always been moved without asking. When asked about moving the couch the technician said that we didnt specifically ask to move it / clean under the couch. When mentioned, the technician did not offer to fix the mistake and was ready to leave. Additionally, he was trying to charge us an extra $30 for a stairwell, after I was told that could be counted as a room. (He did fix that). I called to share my dissatisfaction, the manager did offer for the gentleman to come back, which I was not interested in, as he didnt seem willing to correct the oversight. I have kids, dogs and we prepare to have our carpets cleaned by keeping kids / dogs away AND moving furniture. It is an inconvenience and disruption to my household to make this happen ALL over again. I was not offered a refund (even partial). Poor cleaning service and even worse customer service. After 15+ years of being a regular customer, I will no longer be using Sears Carpet / Green Clean.

Let me start by saying that we have used Sears for years for carpet cleaning and they have always done a phenomenal job. However, these two guys went the extra mile.Allen and his partner did an excellent job. Our floors have never looked better. They arrived on time in uniforms ready to perform the job. They were courteous, knowledgeable, quick and thorough. They even overheard my wife and I discussing the need to have out hardwoods cleaned and buffed and were able to offer the service as well. We immediately booked it with him.In short, Allen and his partner ROCKED we will surely use them again.

Finally so happy!!! Ive been trying to get my dryer vents cleaned for almost 6 weeks.The Hurricane happened, then no power for some time & life.Finally an appointment that was completed!John & his co-worker were great. Giles G. was professional that asked all the right questions to save me money by not over charging me. He worked quickly and efficiently. Duct work was done in under an hour. Highly recommended! Martin and T clean the carpets with pre-treatment, steam and deodorize my home expertly. Very happy with the results.

My carpet still had stains the carpet was saturated took 2 days too dry .The worst part they used a nozzle that wasnt working outside I told them that one wasnt working as they new it and informed me as well .They did move it rate away but it caused water damage on our laminate. I still agreed to pay half for this service and still no check this was done on September 4 know full reimbursement would be greatly appreciated considering they did not hold up on there end

Martin M. called ahead and showed up in the window of time that I was given. He cleaned 3 rooms and stairs and did an excellent job. He was neat, efficient and quick. Gone in just 60 minutes - with some recommendations for future issues and a discussion on tile cleaning. I will definitely be booking them again when it is time to get my tile cleaned in my kitchen. Allen and crew arrive right on time and got straight to work. I told him that I was raised in the family business, Grays Carpet Center in Northborough, Massachusetts that my father started in 1943 and which is still going today. I said that I would be watching what he did carefully, as I had done this work myself years ago. Of course I was joking with him.Allen was professional and knowledgeable and did an amazing job of cleaning up the areas of most concern, the traffic area entering the dining room and kitchen. He was careful moving furniture and thorough in cleaning the 3 rooms, dining, living and bedroom. I was very pleased with the job he and his helper did. Thumbs up!

The team members were timely, polite, and worked quickly... leaving my carpets looking clean and fresh, and getting all my ducts cleaned as well. Jon came in to clean my air ducts and after a minor equipment issue (which he left, fixed, and returned in record time) my whole house was cleaned. He assured me he would have the work done prior to the carpet cleaners coming and he did. Used Sears carpet cleaning and had Martin M as my service pro. He was very polite and helpful. Did a fantastic job on my carpets. Was able to get out pet urine stains and baby spit up stains with no problem! Very happy, great job!

Highly recommend service tech Clarence. He has cleaned our very dirty (red dirt) and stained (from kids) carpets twice. He is very professional, courteous, polite and efficient. We had morning appointment, he called 20 minutes before he got here, and was finished within the hour.

Not only was he on time, but also professional, clean, pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable enough to leave him at my house while he did the work so my dog wouldnt get in his way. He even cleaned up after himself! I will be using them again if needed and highly recommend Jon.

Giles provided great and efficient service. I can already tell the difference in the air quality. I was having allergies since the change of season, but now the air from the vents is not bothering me. It smells like a furnace rather than dust and who knows what else.

I just had my carpets cleaned by Giles G. He did an amazing job! He was very professional and courteous and told me exactly what was and was not possible in terms of expectations. I highly recommend him and will ask for him again for my next cleaning.

In the past Sears had always done a wonderful job cleaning my carpets. But tjis time my beautiful, soft carpet was left hard and crunchy. None of the stains were removed and the carpet didnt even smell like it had been cleaned even though I paid extra for deodorizer. The technician was not friendly and would merely grunt or mumble when spoken to. Total waste of money.

They arrived promptly and thoroughly explained what they would be doing and how long it would take. There was a question about the amount since what they had didnt match the amount I had been given on the phone. Even though they couldnt reach the person with whom I had spoken, they changed their amount to match what I had written down from my phone conversation that I showed them. I will use Sears again when I next need to have my ducts cleaned.

The guys were really nice and were in and out. Affordable and professional. The only negative was a large service window (8am to 1pm) but they showed up at 10:30 and were done in 40 minutes.

I highly recommend Sears for duct cleaning.Alex and his partner were great!We called them because we thought something had gotten into the ducts and died! Maybe a mouse or squirrel.We were right ~ something had~ a Racoon!!! They showed us on the camera software and then removed it, cleaned and deodorized the system.We will definitely use them again~ hopefully for just a normal cleaning next time :)

Service techs have all been great..professional and very nice. However, door wires have come off track twice once due to improper installation of mounting bracket. Torsion spring failed leading to this last visit...could be just unlucky...Sears covered cost of spring but cost $200 in labor this last visit. Im a little tired of spending money to repair items that should last 20 years..not less than 4 as in my case. These issues do not reflect on latest service tech.

I am writing this bad review for this company because the technician Paul did such a lousy job. Two guys showed up started setting up. I had to run a quick errand and would be back shortly. As I left they had been there maybe five minutes and were pretreating the carpet spraying something from a low pressure gun. As i returned twenty minutes later they were wrapping up. I asked the technician how they could finish so quickly?, when the other guy a few years back spent two hours and really scrubbed the carpet? His response was that he was really efficient! They did spray some liquid on the carpet and they appeared to have scraped the wand across the carpet surface. But as for taking any dirt out of the house and into the tank on the truck they failed miserably. I would not use these guys again. They said that if I was not happy that they would come back out. But I was renting this property and was on a deadline so that would not work. I had to give it a one star to post this review.

There is absolutely no reason why this company has a 4.8 rating and the good reviews must be fake. After all, any company can afford to pay for phony reviews.I contacted Sears Carpeting Cleaning in Raleigh over the telephone to schedule a time to have three rooms cleaned before the holidays. At the time, I was informed that the workers would arrive before noon and was never given a window of time; This would be too professional. At approximately 1 pm, I called to find out their ETA and was told that someone would call me back. By 3 pm, no one had called back and I sit around my house wasting time that could have been used to complete errands. I call the office again, and was told that the workers who had my work order were in Durham and were never scheduled to clean my carpets prior to noon. During this telephone call, I received another call and it was the workers calling to tell me that they had just arrived at a job in Durham and would not arrive at my home to clean my carpets until 5 pm.Needless to say, I became very upset and cancelled the entire job. Sears Carpet Cleaning has to be the most unprofessional, incompetent and inefficient carpet cleaning business in the Triangle. Who is their proper frame of mind can see how to clean carpet at night? These people are a bunch of liars who care nothing about customer needs and only interested in collecting the money. The best time to clean carpet in during bright sunlight and when my family members are away from the house. After 5 pm is dinner time and dark in November.The last time I hired these fools, they did not arrive until 6 pm and had no idea that the company would do that to me again. The rugs were clean enough, however the workers failed to move any furniture so the carpet underneath the beds and other furniture was more dirty than the traffic areas of the rooms. So lame, so lazy. But, this is what one can expect from a bunch of ex-cons.There are too many other carpet cleaning businesses in the Triangle and I would rather pay more for better service and higher standards.

Setup an appointment for a duct cleaning with sears. They came out on time, issue was they wanted to put negative air through the vents themselves. I asked about it and how it would clean debris 15-25 feet below and through up to 50 feet of vent. Their reply was they have always done it this way. So i gave the go ahead as long as they can guarantee the job to be done right and that i will be check after them to make sure its clean. They then called their boss, said he had the equip to do it the right way (from below through the trunk) at the shop so they rescheduled.... then called back and canceled all together later that day stating they would not have the equip needed for another 4-5 weeks . Avoid these scammers...
