Went for a wedding reception. The bar was nice. Nice building, clean restrooms, but... The dinnerware needs desperately to be replaced. Water pitchers and glasses so cloudy they looked dirty. Silverware looked spotty and dirty. But this was just because it was so old. The plates, though, were actually dirty. So many plates were laid to the side that the staff wouldnt allow people to get their own anymore. Food was edible, but they didnt keep up with the crowd.

Had my wedding reception at Roma 6/26/21 after postponing due to Covid. Staff were supportive and accommodating throughout the process and we are so thankful to finally have our day. The venue was spacious, we enjoyed the food (our vegan guests said their meal was tasty too), the bar service came with more options than we anticipated, we were able to bring our own dessert and everything was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue to people looking in the area.

Our 50th high school reunion was just held there and you could not ask for a better venue to hold our event. The hall was large enough to accommodate our 140 guests and the food and service was top notch. I can’t believe how fast the appetizers went because when I went to get some cheese curds and fried ravioli, they were gone. If we have a 60th reunion, we will most likely have it at Roma Lodge.

A membership club for Italian heritage people with some great amenities. However, I checked in on Roma Lodge as a venue for special events. Membership is not required to rent the facility. It has two large rooms and together it can cater to upto 750 visitors, depending on the configuration. There is a full fledged catering facility with a bar license. Picturesque grounds and ample parking is available. Reasonable costs when compared with other relatively high end establishment. The representative was very accommodating and comprehensive about what is available. If you have a wedding or another special event coming up, give them a call and check out the options you may have.

My wife and I were married during COVID on September 5th. Roma was not only able to make sure that everyone invited and their staff was safe during the time, they were able to help accommodate and make sure all 160 of our guests were able to attend and we did not have to cutback. We had 0 outbreaks, 0 issues, and 100% fun and worry free at our wedding. They kept a very detailed schedule and made sure we were on time. To anybody planing a wedding I highly recommend using them. They were perfusion all and well priced!

My husband and I had our wedding at Roma Lodge a few weeks ago, and from the food to the service we received, 5 stars is truly not enough.Brianna the event coordinator was so helpful and wonderful throughout the wedding planning process. I really feel that she went above and beyond to give us our picture perfect wedding.The wait service and the bar service were impeccable. They were all so incredibly friendly, and made us feel so special on our big day!For our dinner we chose the beef and the chicken Florentine. I am still dreaming about that meal. It was so mouthwatering and delicious. Several family members have come to us to rave about the food and service.We could not be happier with the service, food, and atmosphere at Roma. If I could I would give them 10 stars!!

My wife and I recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at Roma Lodge. We can not say enough about how great our experience with Roma was! Exceptional staff, food, and atmosphere! The event coordinator, Briana, was great. She helped us out every step of the way. She answered all our questions and made the day flow flawlessly. Her staff were so attentive and courteous! Made everyone feel welcome and a true guest. The food was excellent and the dinner service was on point. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host an event.

We ordered curbside pickup and we have been waiting in the parking lot for 1 hour past our pickup time and we still have not received our food. They apparently have no order to how they are distributing there food. Some people have walked in and received their food and we have been waiting here longer than them. Unorganized but trying. The fish better be good.

I had my wedding there on 10/05/19 and it was an amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and easy to work with! The food... oh man that food was so good! I cant wait to go back another time just to eat! Brianna and Abby were beyond wonderful! They answered any and all questions I had, and they helped in every way possible! My wedding was so amazing and everything I could have dreamed of because of the Roma Lodge!

I had my reception here December of 2018. My reception was great and it was great that they still had the Christmas decorations up and overall they did a nice job. The food was awesome and we’re still getting compliments about how good it was. I just have a couple of things that I’m a little irritated about: They call you just about every day the week before the wedding to run over details with you which is fine. I specifically asked for my wedding pies to be plated. We had already precut them ourselves (this was another issue as they tried to not have me bring pies even though my husband and I do not like cake) all we wanted done was to have the pies plated for the guests so they didn’t have to try and grab a piece out of the pie pan. This wasn’t done and when I spoke with my husband about it he said they actually came and asked him what to do. The second issue was that I actually had them contact my mother one of the days because she had the final count numbers and those included people who needed special meals, which they didn’t have prepared at the reception. What was the point of the extra calls then? As the bride I’m sure I’m the only one that knows that this went wrong and the rest of the reception was great however these were things that had been discussed several times and the ball dropped on them. I do recommend using Roma lodge. It’s a great venue, the rooms are both really nice in size and work for whatever size wedding you have. The price is very reasonable and overall worked for what we wanted and we had a great time.

Picked up their fish fries, both ordered their Beer Battered Cod. We both enjoyed the dinners so much we ordered them again the following Friday.This is short and sweet but I definitely recommend this location to everyone.

My husband and I held our wedding here and we could NOT say enough great things about this venue and the staff we got to work with, especially Briana. She was there for me every step of the way with my million and one questions. The food was excellent and we had LOTS of compliments on the venue, wait staff, bartenders, & the food. My friend had his wedding here. The atmosphere was amazing. The food served during the dinners was amazing and sophisticated. My favorite was the meatballs! The drinks were a little pricey $4 for a 8oz can of beer.

I was married at Roma Lodge 6/1/18 and everything was absolutely perfect! The manager and staff were all extremely helpful and had answers to all of my questions, the food was phenomenal, and the decorations were just perfect! I would highly recommend using Roma Lodge for any occasion. They made my wedding planning so much easier. We just had our Henna and wedding reception at the Roma. They did an incredible job at making sure that everything was EXACTLY what we wanted. Briana and the entire staff was SUPER great, respectful of our culture and went above and beyond! My wife and I would recommend to anyone to have their event there!

March 2, 2019 the Staff at Roma Lodge were all AMAZING! They were so professional, prompt and showed a genuine interest in our dining needs. Our servers were Ethan and Kiara and they did a fantastic job. All the staff were so friendly. The bartenders were fast and kind thanks to Briana and her sister and the other girls too! I just wanted to praise them for their awesome service!!It seems there is so much negative in the world and I wanted to focus on the positive experience we had there. Keep up the great job!!

Just had my wedding reception here on 7/13 and it was the best experience we could have hoped for. Everything was setup just the way we asked and the night went swimmingly. Briana was so much help with getting everything put together and making the night go smoothly. Very good experience. Would definitely recommend.

Roma Lodge was a SAVING GRACE on our wedding last October. My husband and I paid 100% of our wedding cost so that meant we had to get creative to fit everything into our budget.Briana was wonderful to work with and we cant thank her enough for the many months of planning ahead of time. Leading up to the big day she called us to talk through all the details or changes. This element of customer service really made our experience less stressful.It is a beautiful banquet hall (2 options of which banquet hall depending on availability). The packages provide an all inclusive option at various budget levels. We were able to get a the hall, buffet, late night pizza, drink tokens for our bridal party and open beer/wine for 4 hours all within budget.Roma has the option to utilize their decor and since we were coming in from Los Angeles this came in handy! We reserved their vases, votives, and mirrors for each table (they were perfect and saved us a lot of money and time).I could really tell the staff took time and consideration with our day. When the bridal party arrived Briana offered to take all our belonging to our table as we lined up for the bridal welcome. Briana kept things moving along with the schedule we provided in the planning stages. The staff were always available and people moved quickly and easily through the buffet line. At the end of the night the staff was more than willing to help and were a complete joy to talk to.To boot the pasta and meatballs were amazing! Also our vegan/vegetarian and gluten free friends and family were able to get individual meals to accommodate their eating preferences and allergies. Roma hosted my daughters wedding this past weekend and the food was delicious and space was beautiful. Brianna was very helpful in working out the kinks from moving from 1 planner to another. She accommodated requests and the event was wonderful!

Went to a wedding reception there recently. Everything was absolutely top-notch, the appetizers, food, bar service and the hall and decor, all were excellent. The wait staff were there on the spot to refill anything on the tables. This place is top notch. If I had to have a nice event or reception then I would definitely consider them. Excellence all around. They obviously care about great service.

We just had our wedding at Roma October 2017. Planning the wedding was a little frustrating because Roma seemed unorganized. They have two event planners - Ashley and Briana. Sometimes I would tell Ashley details but then all notes didn’t transfer over to Briana because then I would have to repeat everything to Briana. Or the two planners would tell me contradicting facts.Then on the wedding day dinner was late and they didn’t serve the head table first! Big screw up on their part! They said it was because only half their serving staff showed up which tells me upper management is also unorganized.On a positive note the room is nice. I heard the food tasted great. Bar services were good. Roma was accommodating when it came to decorations. The people are nice, but I think they need more structure/organization for events.

The Roma Lodge gave us an absolutely flawless wedding day! The staff was always ready to help and the manager Briana worked with everyone to make sure everything was beautiful. We did have some problems when it came to setting the date before the wedding to prepare the room, but that was with a different employee who is no longer there. Briana was very sorry for the mishap and did everything she could to fix the problem. I would fully recommend Roma Lodge as a wedding venue!

The staff at Roma are so easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. The food was great too. We found their pricing to be super reasonable without hidden fees or charges you arent aware of. Briana and Ashley are organized and make sure that every detail is taken care of. They have a handful of vendors they recommend, that were also fantastic to work with: Silver Spoon Entertainment (DJ) and A Photo Illusion (Photog) who are top notch and go the extra mile to make sure your event is the best.

We were so happy with how our reception turned out at Roma Lodge. The staff went out of there way to help us with anything that needed to be done. When we were not able to get in to our venue the night before they allowed us to have all of our stuff on site so that the next day we could get in and get it decorated. Both my wife and I thought the food was great and we had guests coming up to us all night talking about how big the serving sizes were and how great it tasted. They are great with communication and upfront with pricing. They try to make your dream day just that a dream! We would also just like to add that both Brianna and Rob were the best! Thank You Roma Lodge!

Roma Lodge is a phenomenal place to host a beautiful wedding. Amazing helpful staff with a beautiful setting. The event coordinator is very knowledgeable and is great with answering any questions. We felt very comfortable with all of our prewedding meetings and conversations. No hall rental fee like you find at many other venues. Instead you just pay the price of the per person meal option you choose. There are add ons available such as bridal suite rental, outdoor ceremony space rental, open bar options, etc. Dinner service was fast and the servers were so attentive! Delicious food! All our guests were very pleased with their meals. The only downfall was that there is not a space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. With the girls using the bridal suite we had to rent a nearby hotel room for the guys to get ready in. Overall I couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience with Roma Lodge

The facilities were very nice. However, I wasn’t super impressed with the service. I went here for a wedding. Meals were mixed up and they ran out of meals that people had ordered so the guests had to pick another meal. They were very slow to clean up the tables. Some of the staff working seemed rather grouchy. Overall, it’s still a nice layout for a wedding reception.

Great location for events due to being easy to locate from the highway. The building has flexibility to cater different size groups or multi-function events. Staff is always kind and food is usually pretty standard italian fare.

My wedding reception location fell through only four months before my wedding! I immediately called Roma Lodge and the staff was very helpful and thankfully they were available for the evening! I booked with the right away and our day was even better than anything I could have hoped for. They set all my tables and decorations up for me, as I could not because they had another event that morning and they set things up exactly how I pictured everything to look when we arrived at the hall! Their event planner was incredibly helpful and made sure things went smoothly and stayed on schedule! The food was also fantastic! My husband and I were told multiple times that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Could not be more grateful! Simply amazing!!!

Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception at Roma Lodge in September 2017. The staff at Roma was great, everyone was helpful. The food was great except for the vegetarian dinners that were ordered. They were substandard and not what was expected per the description we received. We also had my Dads 90th birthday celebration at Roma in January 2018. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and made sure the day went smoothly. The room looked great and the food was delicious.

The Roma staff are absolutely amazing! They made sure everything went smooth for my wedding with no complications. The food was great, we got compliments all night about the food and how beautiful the place was. Briana and Rob are so accommodating and make sure you have what you want on your wedding day!

Big banquet hall, plenty of seating, good food, and they play bingo every Thursday at 6:30 pm. Not bad for a leisurely night out!

My mother and I, and a few other local family members, hosted our family reunion formal dinner/ banquet here as part of a 3 day biannual weekend celebration. There were a few communication hiccups in the beginning but once cohesive understanding was found we couldnt have found a better, more attentive team. My thanks to Briann (apologies if name is misspelled) and the team and to Roma Lodge in general for making a family of 130 feel right at home! Maybe next time we can get the 250 who showed up in St. Louis 2 years ago!

Brianna Doherty is an awesome event planner and Roma Lodge has themselves a jewel in this employee! She truly went above and beyond my expectations! I hosted two events there this year and everything went very smoothly. The food and service was excellent!!! Brianna was involved fromstart to finish; from helping unload the car with decorations to actually putting decorations up and helping to take things down afterwards. She pays close attention to details. Thanks Roma Lodge for two great events in 2018!!!

Excellent place to hold an event was there for educators credit union annual meeting. Food was excellent, so was the customer service.

I recently got married at Roma Lodge. I am sooo happy I picked that place to have our special day. My Coordinator Brianna and the staff were sooo nice and helpful. I feel they went above and beyond to make our day super special. They were very accommodating. Even my guests were raving about the experience and service for weeks afterwards. We will definitely be going back there for any future parties we may have.

DJd a wedding there last night and the food was awesome. Brianna & Jeremiah were easy to work with and very accomodating. Only complaint is about one of the servers being sick and coughing/sneezing into the air, then laughing, thinking it was funny that she may get others sick. But of course, that is not the venues fault. Overall, a very nice place with excellent food! Hope to work with them again in the near future!

Went there for a wedding reception. Pros: room was open and laid out good which made it easy to see the dance floor and video. The fountain in entrance was very pretty and there is a driveup with covered entry. Good amount of parking. Nice neighborhood. tasty potatoes and something that looked like deflated lasagna. Most staff were very nice, just focused on their job more than the guests needs. Cons: hard for servers to get in between tables with so many people. Cake was not served by the staff like the food was. That made for servers having to dodge around people in line while bringing in plates of cake from the kitchen a few at a time. Food was served oddly; one of the courses was rotini noodles with broccoli and red peppers. Absolutely no taste to it. Had to add Italian dressing for some flavor. most of the food was edible but not appetizing. Chicken breasts were hard, just warm and had what looked and tasted like chocolate syrup drizzled on it which was not liked at my table by most. bread treated stale, Green beans had little flavor and the butter had no flavor. They ran out of ranch dressing. Servers served food but rarely came back in the first half of the meal to see if anything was needed. Whatever was on your table was all you got. Not cool when you have 10 adults at a table and they have appetites. Coffee was bitter and theyre was only half dozen creamers for 10 coffee drinkers. I was extremely disappointed for my first visit here. Would rather go to infusinos, their food is way better or Italian American club in Kenosha, their food is the absolute best and their staff is on top of everything.

This was the first time that I had been here. I have to say that I was fairly impressed. I was there for a PTA banquet and I was amazed by what they serve as a meal. HOLY COW! For dinner they served us bread, salad, mostacholi, meatballs, whole kernal corn, mashed potatoes, roasted and fried chicken! Thats one hell of a meal! Id definitely eat there again!

Decided to try the food this Friday night. My wife got the fried cod, which was ok. I opted for a pizza appetizer, followed by the lasagna. The pizza didnt have enough sauce, and the toppings were at least one and a half inches from the edge of the crust. The lasagna was covered in oregano or basil(which didnt help the flavor at all). The sauce on the lasagna was not good. If I had to guess who prepared it, I would guess it was Chef Boyardee. The only thing that tasted decent, was the several cans of beer I consumed trying to wash down the Chef Boyardee flavor. My wife is fortunate. When she eats a meal that doesnt agree with her, it usually exits her body within a couple of hours (which is what happened to her). Me, on the other hand, am sitting here after eating a couple of Rolaids waiting for some relief. Another thing that sucked, was the French dressing on the salad. It looked like oil with a red tint to it and tasted like caca.

Crazy big portions of Italian pasta and huge steaks! Great place to hang out with friends and play some bocce ball!

So sad this place went downhill .We had our daughter wedding here in dec of 2015.And the staff and food were perfect.Everyone raved about the food . Jeannie was always there and on hand if problems rose.So the hall was booked for sons wedding sept of 2017.Rehersal dinner was horriable. Didnt bring the food out on time we had to ask for it hour later staffs reply ohh thought you ate already. Very clean tables silver ware clean unused was no hint? Also they forgot the mosticholi that was ordered and argued about it .Drinks were very strong and our family likes to drink but this was ridiculous. Talked to bartender he than started using one shot.Day of sons weddingGirls had no bridal suite to get ready in which we were told from daughters wedding that went with the hall we were in. Also the bathrooms we were told belong to that hall at time of daughters wedding was overtaken by other bridal party when complained we were told no way it is now. So trying to dress in cramped bathrooms and the other bridals party grooms man walks into bathroom with girls in there pantys and bras.( Real nice.). The other wedding which should of been done was still out in the way making sons wedding real late. Trying to take pictures was another joke with bridal party from other hall coming out on our side which seems now theres no boundaries. The allowed liqure that was paid for started before time and was getting way way more than one shot. People were actually complaining and not drinking there drinks that we paid for talked to the manager and she was attitude and didnt stop doing it from numerous complaints still coming to me. Than came the food . This was horrid the potatoes were so thick you could of used them as mud for cement and built a house i showed the manager for that . I picked the clump up on my fork all together her response its from scratch thats why. ( not) my chicken was over done . My mother inlaws undercooked etc . Than they forgot the wine they had to be told the kid ran down grabbed bottles of it which cant be sesole im understood with sticker price on. Needless to say i dont know what happened to this place but its sad it went down this far. Also have the pictures of the food and wine bottles with the 5.99 stucker on at tables not very classy
