I brought in my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. My car was misfiring and was told I needed to change my spark plugs.To start of I had to tell the desk lady Cheryl about 7 times about my issues and when I could bring in my car. It took me about 5 days to finally get her to get a straight answer and for her to finally actually give me a call back and have a conversation. She told me 5 different prices all ranges in hundreds or dollars differences. After finally coming to an agreement after 2 weeks. I brought my car in and was promised it would only take 2 days maybe 3 at the most.3 weeks later I find out that my car has been being driven all around racine county and my car was fixed 8 days after I first agreed. They also caused body damage to my car as well that I never had but they wont say they did it and fix it. I saw them driving my car around for 2 days. Not just test driving it down the road from his shop. He had it all over racine county, I also see him going on the interstate. At that point I was Furious. It has been 3 weeks and I couldnt pick up my car because it was not done yet. After I called him out on it he told me it was done and I could come pick it up. The lady at the front Cheryl lost my keys and couldnt find them for two days. She also charged me almost 500$ more then what we agreed on and i had the paper work from the start showing her. She was rude and has no organization skills. Three weeks while waiting for my car I also noticed about three of the same vehicles that would pull into that parking lot. One was a light green Tahoe and it would just pull in and the owner Nicks would go up to the window and Im some kind of money and he would leave right away but it was the same three cars every couple hours. I think he is having drug deals going on at his business and using our money to support his habits.After all this nonsense my spark plugs were never fixed they would not return the money and called me a bunch of awful names. I dont typically like to have issues and Im a very respectful person so it is very disappointing that Nicks garage will never have my business or anyone elses that I know

Dont waste your time. they couldnt diagnosis my vehicle and charged me anyways. if your think going to this place it would be easier to light the money in your pocket on fire. At least youll have saved some time

I brought my old jeep in for a front end replacement. I knew there would be difficulty due to the truck being 20years old. Even after encountering some unexpected other issues nick was still able to perform the work in a very reasonable time. And easily half the cost of other shops. Not my first time here and certainly not my last!

Nicks garage is Amazing. Very reasonable and and great customer service. I went there and had a new engine put into my van last year and so of course i came back when I found out I needed a new fuse box. I wouldnt go anywhere else and recommended them to everyone!!

My break lines gave out about 3 weeks ago. After getting ridiculously high estimates, and the run around, I called nick. He he towed my car to the shop and my truck was done within the next day. His dedication and friendly approach from him and his staff, is why I will come to him for any future repairs. Not to mention the reasonable prices! Thanks for your hard work guys!!

Probably one of the worst experience I had when it comes to car repairs. The place is overwork and understaff, but that does stop the place from overbooking for services. Not only the car was in the garage for over three weeks, but after over $ 1500 in cash repairs since he doesnt take credits car to possibly evaded taxes, the car still on the same condition that I brought it to start with. He does try if you are face to face, but at this point I question his actual knowledge. The communication is very poor, and I am taking into consideration the current corona epidemic and when trying to reach him to rectify the issue you get ignored. Last but not least I am still waiting for a receipt for the services provided. So far I had to go to other places to have the work redone that was originally performed by the garage, and replace parts that supposedly were replace and charge for. I am willing to reconsidered this review but as of today I had no call back or follow up from the shop or owner to rectify the situation. I strongly recommend staying away from this place and if you do decide to take a chance on it request your old parts to ensure that the part were actually change.

Nick and everyone else who works here is seriously so amazing. Nick got my car working the next day I brought it in. Another place said they would fix my car for $1700... Nick got the price down to $600. Amazing service. :)

My experience with Nicks garage I needed some work done ASAP I explained to them my situation. The secretary talked to the owner and I was out of there in a hour. I rate this business 5-star because of the professionalism the kindness very helpful and it saved me a lot of money thanks guys keep up the good work .

Nick is just a great guy. Once you have work done here, he takes a vested interest in the health of your vehicle and that your safe in it. I took my jeep there for 3 years and I trust him 100%. Highly recommended!!! Great prices, honest answers, no fluffed up over charging. Takes cash or credit. Closed on sundays.

Ive been to several shops in the Racine area, but never was comfortable, and couldnt wait to leave. When I went to Nicks garage the atmosphere was great. Everyone was smiling and laughing, the work is great, and they do their best to get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Ill never go anywhere else again. This shop is the best, and I felt informed, they didnt try to RIP me off like other shops do, and I actually enjoyed my time there. Definitely recommend!

I see and hear a lot of b.s but right when I walked into Nick’s Garage I was greeted by so much hospitality I felt like I wasn’t in Racine no more. I like his service, his business and I recommend everyone to go check him out if “ANYONE” has vehicle issues. For the Nick’s Garage family, keep doing what you doing because believe me it’s much appreciated coming from the Harris family.

I love that they have late evening hours!! We work until 5 so we were able to get in. Service was great and though it will cost a bit to fix our cars, the price is way under what the dealer quoted. The place is dirty, but the work is excellent. They knew exactly what was wrong with my car and fixed it right the first time.

Nick and his staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They helped me with a few things other shops had turned me away for or were going to charge way to much for. There prices are extremely reasonable. It’s very hard to find trustworthy shops in Racine and I’m grateful to have found this one! They give all there effort and time to make sure your vehicle is safe! Also, they are extremely honest and don’t try to scam you, they tell you exactly what needs to be done and in what order it is best to be done in.

Nicks garage is an honest and simple Auto garage. Their prices are very reasonable and they do a good job. I recommend them.

Nick & his crew are good honest mechanics i had some issues with my 05 ford freestyle it was unsafe for me to drive they recommended I got some things fixed I dropped my truck off @ 9:30 a.m. & it was fixed before 3:00 it drives better & it’s safe for my grand babies to be in I have more work that needs to b done I highly recommend nick & his crew I’m a satisfied & happy customer

I have had alot of work done by these guys on multiple vehicles. Prices near half of what other competitiors would charge. And they give you options for brands of products available to help when on a budget. I have yet to have a bad experience.

Had a good experience at Nicks. I took my car in for brakes and he was very reasonable and straightforward with me on what my car needed. There was a little mix up with the parts, but nothing that couldnt be fixed. His staff was very personable and experienced. The wait was a little long, but that was due to the parts distributor and nothing that the business did. I am definately going back and using them again for my car maintenance needs. The cars between my partner and I have been a complete horror this year. Between a 19 year old Subaru Forester and an 11 year old Kia Spectra they’ve been able to handle the work.They’re very communicative and friendly when it comes to your repair needs.I’ve been going there for almost 8 months and I’ve never been jerked around or disappointed.

Had my 2005 Ford Escape towed here because it stopped working turned out to be the fuel pump. They helped me and figured out the problem right away. Done in a reasonable time. Would definitely recommend them!

Nick.did an awesome job on my Audi q7 . He basically rebuilt the top of my engine. He is very honest in his work and reasonable in prices. Compared to alot of other garages he saved me 1,000 dollars ..

I went to Nicks because I needed brakes put on my car. I already had the parts but no one to do it. Nick talked to me for a few minutes and literally saved my week! He got my brakes on and done so fast that I was still on time for work plus he checked over my whole van to figure out what the noise I was describing was. When he found it he was strait up with me about what was wrong, what was priority, and what could wait and he gave me a great price and worked with me on payments. Seriously, the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic.

My mother dropped her car off and they went on vacation without telling her. Then every time she tried to pick her car up they came up with a new repair she needed. When nick finally said her car was finished, we went to pick it up and there was a line of cars blocking her vehicle in and he told her he didn’t have a key to move them out of her way so she could not get off of the property. This all transpired over a month and my mom still doesn’t have her car back as I am writing this review!

They were all super happy and helpful very down to earth didn’t upsell me and got everything done the same day I dropped it off. Very happy with the work and I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Dont go there. They will try to get you to leave your car there and act like they are working on it and really are not. They open when they want to. They will charge you for brand new parts and then go to the junk yard to get them. Dont trust this shop.

Terrible results. Vehicle ended up with more problems than it began with. Overcharged and is extremely unprofessional. I wish I never took my vehicle to this mechanic. Very confused how this shop has an4m7 rating.

I was devastated when my car was in a hit & run. Nick took care of everything & made my car look brand new for a great price. I was more than pleased with his services.

I took my camaro there for a thermostat replacement, Nick the owner was honest with me and fixed my car without the part.I have finally found a honest shop.I highly recommend his shop and great group of mechanics to anyone needing there car repaired for a fair price.

Not good at all!! Paid 700.00 for my car to get fixed said it was the bearings and he couldnt so he said he has to get a motor then my car will be done. He couldnt find one so when we did and called him he said for us to go get it and he will put it in. he wants me to pay another 500.00 to get the new engine smfh really??? Now he got it towed and expects me to pay it and also never told me that my car was getting tickets smh very bad place to take your car. Plus he doesnt know how to work on cars he says that its one thing then breaks something else then says you more money. This is a warning to all that go there!!!!! They are not even certified i just found out too smh. Do not take your car there
