The whole experience was a delight. The store was very clean and well organized; the staff was friendly and helpful; and they had exactly what I was looking for!

Needed a mower. The one I wanted was out. All they had was the display model. So I got it.

We had covid in April & my husband hasnt worked since then. He finally got some unemployment & a SNAP benefit card for groceries and, in order to save BIG money, we found some needed items at the Quincy, IL store...only to be turned away because you dont accept food assistance cards. We live in an older home remodeled & refurbished primarily from Menards. We have remodeled the churches we have pastored & their parsonages with Menards products. We have always paid cash for our purchases & have been very satisfied with you, until today. You tout a grocery section but refuse to serve faithful customers in need? Theres nothing BIG about that!

Very disappointed with the service we recently received. We made an online purchase to pick up in store and long story short we got home and the whirlpool bathtub we purchased was the wrong product but in the right box. We called the store and fortunately they had one of the correct items in stock but we live pretty far so we had to make an extra trip to make the exchange. When we called the store to explain the issue they were pretty disorganized and didnt know what was going on and acted like it was a big inconvenience. I also emailed customer service and their response was terrible (see below).I’m very sorry, but we are cash and carry, and travel expenses are for your account. We obviously have no control over where our customers live. It is your responsibility to assure your purchase is suitable for your needs before you leave the premises. Thank you for your patience and understanding.Thank you,RayI didnt expect them to reimburse me for my gas but a little effort and better customer service than I received go a long way. If I have to check every item and open every box I purchase from them because they dont have quality control then thats a problem. My husband does a lot of contractor work and were doing a full bath remodel and usually do our shopping at Menards but definitely wont be returning after this experience.

I am NOT a big fan of Menards. Much like Wal-Mart, it is simply too big to find what you need efficiently, and employee help is scarce at best. However, this is the only home improvement store in 90 miles that had real honest to goodness SAMPLES of vinyl siding, roofing, and stone veneer. Lowes and Home Depot were found seriously lacking!! For this reason, Menards will get our business for siding.

Following COVID guidelines and the employees are always helpful whenever you need to find something! I have gone here many times for home repair and pet needs as well as landscape needs. It is a definite recommend if you ever need something for a home or garden project!

I purchased a maytag refrigerator in 2019. I need repair under extended warranty----GOOD LUCK. There are no repair service in the 30 mile radius that accept the warranty contract. I now have to repair myself and HOPE the extened warranty provider will reimburse me. I would not recommend extended warranty through Menards. Not worth the inconvenience and trouble getting anything done.

This Menards is fabulous. Anything you want for building or remodeling is there. They even had groceries. There was plenty of people working to help you who are very knowledgeable .

Menards is both weird and wonderful. They have a little, or alot, of most everything other big retailers sport. However, that unusual size, color, variety, or otherwise hard-to-find thing you cant find anywhere else? Menards probably has it!Prices are all over the map with most items on the marginal to less expensive side. They do sport an impressive 11% rebate on nearly everything you buy from em, but they make you work for it. No online submissions for this retailer. You can download and print the submission form, but you will need to fill it out by hand then snail-mail it along with your rebate stub from the original receipt to get your rebate in 4-6 weeks.Menards is not a store, IMHO, to run in and grab something. Its a store to be wandered through and properly explored to be truly appreciated. Aisle after aisle of the unusual and often unexpected. Not to mention far more varieties of most things we cant find elsewhere.More than once, Ive entered their store, mind made up on a project and its particulars. But left with something totally different because of the options they carry. My wife thinks Im a genius sometimes!And that brings me to another impressive feature you see less of in big retailers, expert assistance. These folks actually approach me when I need a hand or cant quite get my idea across the finish line. Always ready with a solution or perfect item to get it done in a snap!Menards is fun and an interesting take on all things home improvement! I just never seem to have enough time to take it all in because I find something new on each visit.

A little confusing were to go for the online orders. You have to go all the way to the back of the store to get it. Then you have to carry your stuff out and if you are buying other items the cashiers have no idea what is going on after you tell them. Other than that it is great.

Love shopping at Menards. Employees are always super helpful. The only thing I didnt like about this location is the lumber yard is around back with a separate entrance. Kind of tricky if you dont know how to get to it. Most stores the entrance is attached to the main lot.

After a disappointing experience at another hardware store, i ended up at Menards. Should have gone there first. better price and so much better customer service! Carol was amazing as were the guys out in the lumber area. my project was able to be done thanks to this great team

Went to buy $1000.00 of flooring and was there for 45 minutes and couldnt get any help so I went to homedepot for my flooring

The employees are so so so rude..understand the mask policy however i have a health problem making it difficult to breathe with a mask fully covering my face so if i bring it down past my nose almost immediatly an employee will be there chasing down the isle. But if i needed assistance not a soul around. I love Menards but i do not love the treatment from employees makes me not want to patronize this store any longer. Rude rude rude!!

I ordered windows and screens in May, got them installed in June. Still have not received the screens. They called and said I would have them the end of October, now its the 2nd week of November no screens. I was never told when I ordered there was a problem or I would have left my old windows in. At least I had screens with them. How much extra electricity I have spent this fall as not able to open them. Menards is a joke! Do not buy from them!

I live Menards it has lots of stuff that we need but some of the carts are wobbly and hard to steer I almost ran into a Woman and her son

Call them ask them if they had a propane powered salamander for sale they said they had a couple to choose from that were 180,000 BTUs get there they have nothing of the sort and have not sold anything since before I got there drove 20 miles just for them to tell me they had nothing

I found what I went for & prices were good. Im surprised they do not disinfect their shopping carts/baskets like other stores I frequent or even provide disinfectant wipes so you can disinfect them yourself!

One star is too many for how Menards has treated their customers over the past year with their heavy-handed mask requirement.

Lowes seems to be much more organized than Menards but Menards often has the items that Lowes doesnt have.

Has everything anyone could ever need in here but is so big if you dont know the store you could easily get discouraged staff are helpful !

Just walked in store and had employee yelling at my daughter and I for not having on mask. She also was doing a huge hand motion making the scene even bigger. Would have been better to say it politely. Will never walk-in the store again

Menards is a good store with a lot of name-brand stuff.however their customer service leaves much to be desired I asked to employees wear something was and got sent in the wrong direction both times.

I am usually happy with this store but today I went to purchase a ceiling fan that was clearly marked 49.97 but they tryed to charge me 199.00 I went back to show them and was told people just put things anywhere. There was more than one fan there so they moved them and made no offer to help me Pretty sad buisness ethics

I used to price compare Menards Lowes and Home Depot Menards has best price almost every time, and there is never a shortage of staff members to help you out. If you stand in one spot for more than a minute or even look slightly confused they will ask if you need help. Top notch.

I recently moved to Quincy from Massachusetts. I knew the name of the paint & I knew what it looked like that’s all. A lovely lady by the name of Michelle came over to assist me. She found my paint color in about a minute! I got a sample to take home and it’s exactly what I wanted. Michelle K. (Not sure how to spell her last name) mixed the paint for me even though I was hesitant she assured me she had the right mixture. Michelle was Extremely helpful, Knowledgeable about her products and had a very nice disposition. Thank you Michelle for helping out this gal today. I’m actually on my way back to purchase a gallon!

I wish i could give negative 5 star,I purchased $ 4700 special order and they failed to deliver that and when I ask for refund they just refund me $ 700 and they rest of the money in the rebate I have to use in store they can’t refund rebate money even though I didn’t use single penny of the rebate. Awful Manager & system.

I didnt have a bad experience or anything, just dont like the set up. Prices are okay, people are nice, but the check line is weird. Kinda like a self checkout became lazy and now people have to stand there in the way.

I just love Menards! It is my go-to place for all my home needs, garden supplies, tools, paint, cleaning supplies, and even foodstuffs that you cant find other places. They always have great deals, and the staff is extremely helpful & friendly!

We bought a new washer and dryer and the staff was wonderful. They were very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.

I love Menards in Quincy. Especially the very clean bathrooms. However, I Will never ever again use a product called Rail blazers for deck railing. I think there may be people in insane asylums because they tried to use rail blazers.

Overall good service loading in the yard. The guys just start helping.
