What an amazing local hardware store! Consistently fantastic service here. Everyone here is like a family member who is trying their best to help you figure out what you need and what they have to get it done. This is some of the most consistently excellent service of any store in any place Ive lived in. I kept hearing good things about Currys from neighbors and friends, and once I went, I could see why! Highly recommended.

I’ve been here on several occasions and the staff has always been helpful, super nice and friendly. I decided to actually write a review today because I was going in to exchange a propane tank that I thought was empty because it wasn’t lighting on the grill. The manager, I believe he was, stopped me when I was going to grab and pay for another one to tell me that mine was actually still full and gave me some pointers on how to make sure the tank works. He offered to swap my full tank with another if I was concerned which was a very nice gesture.

I placed an order for pickup. I was notified that the order was available and ready for pick up. I went to pick up my order and they could not find the orders. I was told by the representative that if I picked it up during the weekend it was fine but they had to cancel the order and put them back on the shelves. Will never return again. Horrible customer service.-update in reply to the owner. Is that why my order was cancelled when I went to the store? I didn’t receive any notice from you. I waited all day for the mangers to look into the “system being down” and get called back. Now that I think about it, it was probably to get the manger to cancel the order. It obvious you guys fulfilled them as the yeti shelf was pretty empty.

I live in Metrowest,, but I come to Curry Hardware when in the area. The associates are always helpful . Today the associate helped to make chair the arm of my dads transport chair was fastened safely. A+ customer service!

Let it be known that there is an employee here that I dealt with today that gives hope to humanity, he didn’t pretend to talk about what he didn’t know, He was genuinely intelligent and didn’t try to sell me something I did not need. F#%k Home Depot!

I got the water there for my water cooler. Sometimes we would buy the paint there for the house. The people who work there ate very nice people. Sometimes I would also get gas for the gas grill there

This is the best hardware store. The staff are incredibly helpful. They have a deceptively large inventory in a relatively small store. You can get pretty much anything you need here except Lumber. You might pay a little bit more then Home Depot, but the quality of the products is higher, the service is better, returns are easy, and you actually get money back with their rewards program.

Employees are always eager to assist you and to help you find what youre looking for. A great team of professionals. Went to purchase bird seed, which was on sale, and one employee went out back to bring more stock out for us. He then carried out the bird seed to our car and loaded it for us as well. Tremendously terrific service!

I just had a fantastic experience at this hardware store and I will now be making it my home improvement headquarters. I had someone attend to me within 5 seconds of walking through the door, and they had my propane exchange ready-to-go only 2 minutes later; Then they quickly advised that my tank was still relatively full, and that the reason it wasnt sustaining a flame in my grill was likely some kind of block in the valve -- he diagnosed this issue by the weight of the tank and the sounds of the valve only. They then refunded my tank exchange, and sent me home with an even fuller tank that was fully operable. All of this service and expertise were offered without so much as a dollar spent there today, so I will be bringing them more dollars later. Thank you again Curry-Ace of Quincy!

Great store. Mark the manager was very helpful, as were all the people that helped me in the store. Just bought a new grill today and they were very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way they could. Were not able to completely match online discounts from big box stores, but did give me a bit of a discount, and it was money well spent. They helped me fit the grill in my SUV, and one of the guys wasnt even on the clock yet. He was on his way in to work sit stopped to help load the grill. You dont find that kind of service on-line or at the big stores. Great experience at this Ace, I will be going back for all my needs.

Always an excellent service experience. They get you in and out with what you need quickly so you are not wandering around the store aimlessly looking for your items. Store is always clean and well stocked.

Sean was super friendly, knowledgeable about lawn care and took the time to teach my wife and I (first time home buyers) all we would need to know. He wasnt trying to push the kitchen sink either. All the staff are very kind and friendly as well as knowledgeable. So much better than Home Depot and their barcode mentality as I call it. Another time I went they didnt have what I needed but they told me where I could get it right then. Top marks

Curry is a locally owned hardware store that has been in business for many years, Im guessing at least 50. This is a store that when the big box store moved in just down the street they didnt miss a beat and just kept doing business. I have never seen a team of people more focused on customer service in any industry as the Curry team is. I will be a customer forever

I would never go to Home Depot or Lowes. Some of the salesstaff have no idea what you are talking about and in some instances have caused problems by selling you the wrong material.Curry Hardware has the most courteous staff I have ever encountered ...And I have never found their prices higher than the big box stores...You are also able to purchase the amount you need, instead of a whole package. Currys the place for me............

Went in to buy a fasttool. Priced at $1100. No one at the store knew any info on the product. They didnt even now what tool it was or what is was used for. The attendant was completely lost and the manager was no help at all. In the end, I took the tool to the register and the price was wrong. He gave me the price to the wrong machine, his excuse is that there is no difference between the 2 sizes. He said they are the same, but why would they have to different sizes. Left it behind and went to Hingham Lumber ( in Hingham) where they answered every question I had and were very helpful. Also, it was cheaper too.
