HORRIBLE internet service provider of all time. Worst initial set-up and disrespectful and unprofessional customer service. No follow-up. If I was given a choice, I would stop my service with this in a heart beat. Very unfortunately I am stuck with this company only because my mall management sticks with this company for whatever reason. After two years of horrible services and outrageous monthly rates, I will continue to elevate my complaints to the mall. This is ridiculous. I will rather use my hot spot for my POS machine over this dysfunctional rip-off.
Run as fast as you possibly can. Biggest thieves in the industry and from what I can tell, treat their own employees as poorly as they treat their customers. The company prides itself on “one consolidated bill”. While they do provide that, EVERY bill that has been sent to us in the past 22 months needed credits issued; that are like pulling teeth to actually receive. Also, all of the equipment they utilize and ship is used/refurbished junk and they bill you full price for it. RUN!
Stay clear. They like to prey on recent grads and boost about their philanthropic efforts, which are simply for good press and tax write offs. You’ll always be told about the bottom line because that’s all they care about. With all the profit they make - as an employee you won’t see any of it. Instead you’re told not taking a pay increase is a sign you’re committed to the company, as if commitment pays bills.
To be honest, RUN I worked there for 2 months and they let me go because I had an to the ER andhad emergency surgery. my boss was called to be inform of what was going on and She had the nerve to ask was I coming in.
RUN AWAY. Seriously. The whole company is a complete scam. Theyll claim you signed contracts that dont exist. The ever-helpful sales folks suddenly vanish if theres any issues. Good luck trying to cancel their services. They can sell them to you but when you go to cancel youre not authorized and then starts the fraudulent claims about ETFs, contracts, terms of service, etc.
Granite is the worst at customer and technical service I have ever experienced in 30 years of business. They have ZERO live support. It takes them 4-5 hours to call back even though an internet connection is critical to my business and I would say 70% of the time they do not call back at all!I have no option at my location, but if I did I would have switched years ago!
I just had a fairly immediate need for which I had to call customer service. I reached Dominique. She was incredibly helpful, kind and patient. I was dreading having to talk to customer service as, at most places, it takes forever and is a hassle. Not this time. She was wonderful. Very efficient and thorough. Thank you so much!
Granite has the worst customer service ever. We have waited two months and had 2 representatives come out to our location in order to get wifi in our business, but still have nothing. We have been promised call backs almost everyday that never happen, and we are hung up on while on hold as another review mentioned. If they would like to make it right, my ticket number is #155887640 which I now know by heart from 50+ phone calls that amount to zero productivity. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.
The company I work for has had the worst experience switching from Verizon to Granite. There wasnt any savings. They made a huge error in trying to port a line of ours. We have wasted so much time emailing about services, billing disputes, etc. I dont recommend using Granite in any capacity.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!THE SALESPERSON CALLED MY BUSINESS AND PROMISED TO SAVE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON OUR INTERNET AND PHONE BILL EACH MONTH. HE FAILED TO TELL ME THAT WE WOULD BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE NEW DIGITAL PHONE SYSTEMS.THEY CONTRACTED A TECNICIAN TO COME TO OUR OFFICE TO SWITCH OUR SYSTEMS, AND HE DID NOT EVEN TELL ME THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE A NEW DIGITAL PHONE SYSTEM INSTALLED. WE PAID FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED FOR MONTHS.GRANITE SAID THAT THEY WOULD LET US OUT OF THE CONTRACT WITH AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF OVER $15,000.00!THIS COMPANY FAILED TO DISCLOSE THAT WE COULD NOT USE THE SERVICE WITHOUT CHANGING OUT OUR PHONE SYSTEMS!!THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CROOKS I HAVE EVER SEEN!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
This is the worst company to deal with. It has taken longer than a month to swap cell phones out on a line, on multiple occasions. Trying to up our broadband speed and it has taken a month and still no movement. Customer service likes to hang up on people calling in to check on tickets. The billing is very convoluted and it sometimes takes months to get an explanation. I would not recommend to even my worst of enemies.
If I could give a zero, I would. The first full months bill was more than twice the salesmans quote. When I questioned it, I got no response other than, well look at it. Over a week later, after several more calls and emails, and a promise that I was going back to my old carrier if I heard nothing, I went back to Centurylink. Dont bite on the hype. I wondered how a third party could offer a service lower than the actual line owner could. Now I know... they cant.In the response below, Granite refers to a first invoice containing prorated charges. This was not our first invoice. That invoice contained the prorated charges for July.
Granite is a company I would recommend to every business owner. Not only do they help you save significant amounts of money on your phone & internet services, their customer service is truly unmatched. I was previously working with Verizon and it was very difficult to get in touch with a representative when I had an issue. With Granite, I am able to get in touch with a real human in less than 10 seconds. I was provided with one point of contact and it has made my life so much easier. I love working with a company who is committed to providing the best solutions and catering to each business individually! Thank you Granite for not only saving me hundreds of dollars a month, but for using my hard earned money and donating it back into the community- they donate over 200 million dollars to charity each year. 10/10 would recommend using this company for all of your telecom needs.
As a business owner this is absolutely the worst, most dysfunctional, uncaring and mismanaged company Ive ever experienced. They consistently bill you for services you dont receive and it takes countless months, calls and emails just to get it corrected. Weve been trying to get away from them for months, however theyll say they didnt receive the notification (after confirming receipt) so they can continue sending a bill. I have reported to the Mass Attorney General and CFPB. Any cost savings you might get are not worth the hassle and time youll spend dealing with their issues - Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.
If you are considering using Granite for broadband service at Park City Center in Lancaster, PA, do whatever it takes to find another provider. First of all, $600/month for just 15Mbps is outrageous (granted there arent tons of options other than Verizon DSL there due to mall limitations).Secondly, Granite offered NO relief during the pandemic despite the fact that the mall we were operating in was closed for months. We had to continue paying Granite full price for service we werent using during the shutdown, and other providers we used at other locations discounted our bills.Lastly, we unfortunately had to close the location permanently. We were already out of contract with Granite and requested a disconnect. They still billed us for an entire month and refused to pro-rate citing their Terms of Service. Note that this information isnt actually printed in the contract you sign. You have to go to their website and find it buried in their Terms of Service (TOS), but fair enough - lesson learned. We paid that bill. Then they sent us another bill for a service fee related to the disconnect PLUS a late charge - again citing their TOS.If you have no choice but to use them for broadband service for your business, comb through the TOS on their website before signing any agreements with them.
I requested to close my service and account with Granite on 5 months ago. After first trying to extort a disconnection fee valued of about a year of service fees based on a lie that we had a 3 year contract, they agreed to disconnect at a fair rate. However, they never processed the disconnection in their billing and have been sending me invoices for services not used since February. They claim that they only planned to disconnect my phone service when I requested cancellation and disconnect, and still want to charge for data because they did not fill in or file my disconnection letter correctly. They also want to charge me interest on false invoices. This company is a scam. They force new clients through landlords, and try to lock them in on overpriced services with barriers to cancel. I have been trying to get out of my contract for for 2 years because of price/quality and they said I couldnt because of the contract. I have since realized I only signed a 1 year contract and they were lying . Finally I thought I had gotten out in January, but they are still charging for services we dont have! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
After switching to a different provider over 1 year ago, two accounts have finally been closed. Yes, it took a year to close out two accounts with terrible customer service filled with empty promises. Payments will be made but yet bills will continue to come, they will promise to waive fees but yet send you a bill for fees on top of the fees that were to be waived. (Evidence in writing through email from their customer service team that fees would be waived do not mean a thing) When email didnt work, phone calls to their customer service department were also terrible. Their department is instructed to tell you they will look into the matter and give you a call back....as you can see, no calls were ever returned as we have been trying to get rid of Granite for over a year!!! Do yourself a favor and chose another company to avoid the headache and extensive fees.
5 STAR Company!! Mary Santry is our rep and she al always so helpful and gets the job done quickly and correctly! Highly Recommended!!
Not impressed with their covid response. Employees are treated as expendable more than essential. Wouldnt recommend.
Thank you to Robert Barrett for being a superstar and going over and beyond to help us figure a mess at an Apartment Community we purchased. He has spent hours and hours helping me and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate his dedication to Granite and to his customers. this has been a great positive experience! Thank you!!Mellissa SchultzRegional ManagerBridge Property Management
They were able to lower my companies bill by almost 30%. During this covid-19 pandemic lowering my costs is very important & granite was able to help me with this. I didn’t have to change any of my services either which was fantastic & I have been getting one single bill for all services instead of the 3 I was getting before. Thanks guys!
Their salesperson Austin used the sales pitch, All of our customer service representatives are on American soil and have college degrees. I am 100% for American jobs! But a college degree? Really? Does that designate some sort of successful status that is a marketing tool that I am missing? Does having a college degree make you..... what? Does it really make your third party phone service better? Does it get you more customers? He quickly hung up when I asked him what exactly that had to do with the service they provided - college doesnt give you the answers to all the questions, does it Austin?
My interactions with Granite have all been 100% positive. The company has a wonderful group of professionals working for them. Ive even called during non-business hours, and the employees go above and beyond to assist me. Thank you!
Providing an update to the below review. We have been trying to get invoice clarification for 2 months. They are failing miserably. Unfortunately, we are just beginning our contract. We will have to deal with this pain for 36 months. DO NOT USE THEM. You will be charged more than you agreed.Received the first bill and it was double what we were paying Comcast. We were quoted and expected significant savings. BEWARE the surcharges that they do not disclose.
This review is long overdue! The property management firm that I work at transferred telephone services to Granite about a year ago, year & half. They have been nothing but helpful from the start and Robert Barrett is especially responsive and incredibly patient with all the questions even after the transfer was completed.5/5. Highly recommend this company.
One of the worst company you can get. If it’s wasn’t for the force of the mall policy i will never get it.They will never call the clients back If anytime get disconnected.
If you thought Comcast was bad, Granite has them BEAT!Even with their high level service package they give no SLA, they dont refund for outages and they will auto close tickets with incomplete work.A trifecta of bad service...it seriously is taking yall two weeks to fix a fast busy on a fax line? Two weeks?
NO INTERNET CONNECTION FOR MORE THAN A WEEK!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! You will WASTE your time and money if you have them as your provider. You need to fill out a form for you to schedule a technician and also PAY for the fee for them to come. Even though you scheduled a time and listed as a priority, there is still no certainty that they will come on that day or even be able to FIX it. I had to call the customer service EVERYDAY for MORE THAN A WEEK and still calling to get my internet fix. SERIOUSLY that is NOT ACCEPTABLE. NEVER EVER using their service again.
Its pretty good so far.
Cannot day enough good things about the service I received from Granite, outstanding. Very professional, helpful and support. Jordan Davis from premiers was great. Extremely professional in the way he handled things, 10/10. Seems like a great kid!
Every time I’ve had to call Granite and speak to an account rep it has been an easy process. Just last week our rep Carla was able to quickly diagnose an issue and have everything fixed within 20 minutes. No one ever enjoys calling customer service, but I am happy to report that my experience in doing so with Granite was smooth, efficient, and easy thanks to Carla.
Worst experience ever, two days it has been with our buisness with no internet . No transactions could be processed lost alot of money. Going on day three and all anyone can do is put you on hold, no supervisors available still no ETA on when a tech will come out to fix. Warning to all choose a better provider becuase we will be finding a new one.
I have worked with Granite now for over 5 years and they continue to impress with their dedication to their customers and constant innovations. Granite handles all our telecommunication and Data needs for all our locations. Each time we have opened a new space Granite has helped make the addition as seamless as possible. We have been lucky to have found a partner like Granite to help us grow our business.I would and have recommended Granite to others without hesitation.
I am not usually a negative review writer, but this company has pushed me to my limit. I acquired their services at my office when I took over as manager and I have to say, this is the WORST company Ive ever had to deal with. Currently, there are 4 outstanding issues with them beginning since I arrived at my office 9 months ago and not ONE is resolved. One of them is merely adding hold music to my phone lines! I am assured I will receive a call back, no call back. I call and ask for a manager, I sit on hold for 30 minutes, not exaggerating. When I asked staff member what exactly was Granites business purpose, they told me that they handle the hassle of calling the service providers. So, at this point, I am dealing with the hassle of calling Granite instead? Id honestly rather talk to Comcast or CenturyLink (Crazy, I know). I am actually writing this review as I sit on hold with Granite for the past 22 minutes and counting... Bottom line- DO NOT USE GRANITE TELECOM.
We have been working with Granite for years and have a great working relationship with them. Our dedicated team is always there to help and assist us when needed. The quick response time to resolve issues is much appreciated too!
Lauren G is always an absolute delight to work with. She works diligently to solve any issues we have to bring to her. If she’s unable to handle a certain request she’ll make sure to direct us to the right person and make sure the issue is addressed. She does all of the above with a friendly manner and professional attitude.
Amazing company. They manage all of our ISPs across the nation. Billing, support, and procurement is a breeze thanks to them. Their sales, management, and support staff are excellent as well. Cody and Darryl keep me and my company happy and frustration free. Overall extremely happy we partnered with Granite.
I signed up with Granite believing this would be a positive move for our company and help us save some money on our monthly internet and phone bills. We didnt have service issues with our previous providers but the savings offered were substantial enough for us to make the switch. After going through the negotiation process with our sales rep I have been passed along to 4 or 5 different people as part of implementation. Keep in mind, all we were doing was transferring over our phones and internet for two locations. It took about a month to get things switched over and we have had nothing but issues since, both with hidden fees, install issues and poor customer service. One of our locations was messed up and they only installed phones, so when we shut off our old Charter service both the phones and internet went down (phones are VOiP) and we had to reconnect the old internet service and continue paying for it. When I called to ask why they hadnt installed the agreed upon internet the only answer I received was that someone had forgotten to enter the job order. They also tried charging us for the install, which was agreed as a no charge service when we came to an agreement with Granite. After several phone calls and having to halt one of our locations installs, they finally agreed to waive the fees as initially agreed upon. Today, I received my first invoice from Granite and was absolutely shocked. They did not remove the install fees as agreed upon and there were also several charges I was not expecting. I would not recommend moving forward with Granite. This has been the worst experience I have had with a vendor, period. You are better off going straight through a carrier and maintaining control of your phone numbers and networks.UPDATE - Ive been working with someone to get to the bottom of these billing issues for 4 days. I keep getting partial answers or no answers at all. At this point it feels as if the goal is just to misdirect and wear me down until I just say, OK. I have been very clear on the information I am seeking but have to keep reiterating these questions. They are not difficult questions either. Why am I receiving local and long distance call charges that were never mentioned as we went through the quoting process? What is my monthly bill going to look like going forward? What charges can we expect? What are we going to pay in comparison to what we were quoted? This is incredibly frustrating.
Granite is an excellent company to work for. It is not your typical corporate environment. You are not micro-managed or treated unfairly. You are kept in the loop when goals are set and changes are on the rise. It is not difficult to communicate to upper management and vice versa. Everyone is there to help and guide you. I would definitely recommend Granite as a place for employment as well as a place to do business. We are truly trying to make and keep the customers we service happy everyday in any way that we can.
The support is great! My premier rep is Christine Durante and she is amazing, makes this part of my job so much easier and I truly appreciate all her hard work. Than you Granite and Christine.
Avoid this company! Deceptive business practices! First, they quoted me a monthly fee for two phone lines that was much lower than the amount on the invoices that came later. I decided to switch to a new company over 3 months ago. I have tried repeatedly to have the lines disconnected. They have not disconnected them and continue to invoice me. I have spoken to or emailed several people in the organization. They always promise to get back to me but never do. This is a terrible company to do business with. Stay away!
I wouldnt let them run internet to my dog house let alone my business.Worst company for internet ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had the pleasure of working with Lauren Gefke and team with Granite and they have always exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail, willingness to assist and essentially take the project over until completion is incredible! I highly recommend them to anyone needing communication brokerage!
Working with Lauren G, was a wonderful experience. If you need any work done with granite she’s the best person for the job. Her knowledge base and responsiveness are unmatched.
Outstanding customer service received and an awesome team.! Andrea Barbosa has helped me and she is one of the best account manager!!! Her job was very efficientlyThank you so much for the service. Greatly appreciated
I have worked with Granite Telecommunications for over six years and I have always found them to be easily accessible and they make account changes easy and are fast to respond to questions. In particular Thomas Preston our account analyst must be one of the easiest people to work with.
Why is there no negative star option???In short, the worst place to work in Mass and the service is not worth IT!Extended Version:By far, the worst place Ive ever been employed though I was grateful for the pay checks and its really why 90% of the staff are there. I worked in Data Project Management and would bust my ass for my customers but you will not be appreciated by it. You will be limited with what you can do for your customers and the customers WILL notice the limitation and will not hold back on yelling at you for it. No one takes responsibility for their actions and will quickly bounce the problems to you.Furthermore, the sales team will get all the praise in the company. Kill yourself for the sales team and you might be successful. Be prepared to join a Monday Morning meeting be the CEO just to hear how well the sales team are doing. The only great part to working at Granite is the people youll meet but be prepared to hear the complaints everyone is having in every department. If you choose to work for Granite, the best time to start is after the holidays when its slow, this way youll have the opportunity to learn more about the company and the service they offer.Ive never been happy to be terminated but I was so elated when I was.
Granite Telecommunications has been great for us in our migration to new phone equipment especially the activations team and Michael Graney. Whenever we had to change something to one of our many locations they expedited the resolution promptly and professionally. Thanks for being such a great partner with us and we look forward to continue our relationship in the future as our company grows!
Granite is an excellent telecommunications company to work with! Their customer service was phenomenal!! I spoke with Jordan Davis, who is an accountant manager. His welcoming approach combined with his expertise in the field made for a truly enjoyable and helpful experience!!
The technicians are great here in Oregon. Unfortunately dispatch and ticketing is a disaster. They are unable to be flexible with meeting their customers because tickets are assigned in the morning eastern time! They need to be more considerate of their west coast customers. Especially those who are business accounts. I traveled 2 hours to be able to meet with a technician just to be told they cant come till the next day.
My mother, who lives in an assisted living facility, had her phone line with Verizon. Somehow her number was diverted to Granite Telecommunications, which was unknown to me. I got in touch with Granite in order to find out what had happened. When Granite looked up the number, it showed that it was registered to a FedEx facility - which is clearly an error. I was told I would be given a call back by someone named Christine. This was five days ago and have not received my call back. Wondering how they can conduct business in such a shoddy way! This has caused me a lot of grief and wasted time spent trying to straighten this out with Verizon. Lousy business practice!
Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Starting reading these reviews and it sounds like my complaint isn’t much different. Trust the bad reviews that you should stay away. We have not had internet for over week now and this morning our phone is down now as well. Between my manager and I we have called every day just to get the same bs that “we have escalated the issue and it will be taken care”. Here we are 9 days later and we are still getting the same excuse. They clearly don’t care about their customers and beware none of them give their correct name. They also told us over 7 days ago they would overnight us a new modem or hot spot. Not sure which carrier they use to overnight but last time I checked overnight means the next day. Still haven’t gotten anything. Just an awful company to deal with and as I mentioned do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews and don’t even bother going with this company!!
Our company has healthcare sights all across the U.S and we have had Granite as our provider for several years. The account team they provide is awesome and the online portal is very easy to use saving us so much time.Great company service, place orders quickly and repair time is short; couldnt as for much more...
Was very pleased with the communication I had with Jordan Davis - I felt as if I was really being heard. You can tell a lot about a company by the way they handle customer service. Keep up the good work Granite.
Company is a scam. I was convinced by my landlord to use them for my business phone service. Service is poor. The price is a rip-off and they wont let me out of my contract. I have wasted $thousands on these people. I dont know how they sleep at night.
In August our phone service for one of our three salons was turned off. It apparently had been ported to a different company. Granite’s response (from several different employees) “there is nothing we can do about it” I called every company in my area and finally got someone willing and able to get our phones turned back on. Obviously, I switched my other two salons over. This happened in August Granite is still taking money out my account for services they do not and can not provide. Every month I call and every month they tell me they are working on finding out who owns the lines but refuse to cancel my account. Not only do they not refund my money they keep stealing money from my account. I had to open a fraud case with my bank. Stay away from Granite!Update. Granite strikes again. Tried to close my last remaining internet service with Granite when we were forced to shut down in March. Can’t get any one to call me back but I’m being charged monthly. I didn’t notice at first since we shut down the business and the bank account. Apparently in October the service was canceled for non payment. The service I already canceled in March. I have called they told me sorry there is no one here to help you. Never got a call back. My sister, who has nothing to do with my business recently got a phone call that Granite is sending us to collections. Still getting these monthly emails no bill no information just that my bill is ready. Today I got this email response. Good afternoonIt appears the final services were disconnected on 10/13/20. Since we did not receive full payment, the account continued to bill with late fees. Once the final balance is paid the billing will stop. Final bill from October 2020. The business has been closed since 3/19/2020.
Wonderful Customer Service!I moved all of my companys services to Granite over a year ago. My Account Rep has been timely, responsive, and knowledgeable; a great pleasure to work with. Over the past year we have done several major projects including all new cell phones and service, improving cable internet speeds at remote locations, and installing an entirely new fiber gigabit connection at our Headquarters building. All of the documentation has been well organized and kept track of. All of the pricing beats every competitor I run it past, and the ease of telling my single point of contact what I need done just cant be beat. I highly recommend Granite.
HORRIBLE COMPANY. LIED, CHEATED AND PROVIDED NOTHING. GO ELSEWHERE. STILL SUFFERING ALL THESE MONTHS BECAUSE THEY WONT RESPOND!
Lauren C. was an absolute delight to work with! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with customer service. Her personability and professionalism deserve no less than 5 stars!
Great customer service! I worked with Hunter, who expertly answered all my questions. So happy that I only have to pay one bill!
I had the pleasure to speak to a one Andrea Barbosa over the phone, and this lady was very helpful! I wish all employees from Granite had the patience, and dedication that this young lady displayed with me. Overall a great experience, and great customer service.
I love working with Taylor Dykeman at Granite. She is knowledgeable, helpful, dedicated and thorough. She and her team at Granite make it much easier for me to do my job better. Great job Taylor - Thank you :-)
My company has been working with Taylor Dykeman and team to convert some telephone lines. They have been great to work with: organized, expert, responsive and supportive. They have made the whole process as easy as possible and are very quick to respond with answers to any questions and resolutions to any issues.
Unethical criminals. Granite refused to suspend services during Covid-19 closures. It gets worse:Following denial to suspend services, Granite rep Brian Yanovitch offered REDUCED PRICING on March 26th, 2020 to lower costs for the closure period. Days later this offer was RETRACTED. Granite conveniently changed their policy to deny reduced pricing during the Covid-19 crisis. To this day they cannot give me a reason why reduced pricing was offered to downgrade services and then retracted. On top of unethical business practices and greed, I cant have a clear phone conversation with their top of the line VoIP phones. VoIP phones which they had no problem upgrading me to when I had clarity issues with their landlines back in January. This is organized crime. To knowingly and purposefully lock your customers into high pricing during a world wide health crisis is unethical. To offer reduced pricing and then retract it is unlawful.Stay far away from Granite and the unethical puppets like Brian Yanovitch.
Lauren Cavaleri and her team have truly been a pleasure to work with. They’re always there to answer any questions or concerns that arise. I would recommend Granite, Lauren and her team to everyone!
We have used Granite for several years and had good relationship. Since weve had Mary Santry as our rep, our partnership is even better. Mary goes above and beyond every time in assisting working with any issues we have and some of them are not easy!
Was pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service. My rep, Jordan David, provided excellent service. Great organization all around!
This is the absolute worst company in the Telecommunications business. They are 20 years behind every other company as far as technology goes. They have no dedicated technicians and outsource all work to whoever can grab a work order first. That means, that if you use them, you have no idea what kind of technician you were getting or how well they are trained or how much experience they have. They have little to no management structure at all and when they route out work orders to their technicians, they don’t provide the technicians with any of the information that you give them. Technicians arrive on site with no clue as to what they are supposed to be doing. The only instructions they tend to have is just an email with a couple of sentences of information. There is never any complex scope of work conveyed to the technicians. There are so many better companies out there to use for your technology support needs.
These 5 star google reviews are probably fake... Check out yelp and BBB. They have so many complaints I’m surprised they are still in business.
Working at Granite has been an incredible journey. The company has so many remarkable people, from HQ to each branch, and there have been so many memorable moments over the years.
Aggressive and does not listen!! I have respectfully asked you for YEARS to remove me from your phone distribution list, yet you feel the need to call me multiple times a month. YOU WILL NEVER EARN MY BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU DONT LISTEN OR RESPECT MY WISHES. I would advise you to change your selling techniques before you put yourself in bankruptcy.
Deceptive business practices. Beware. We chose Granite because they positioned themselves as a preferred vendor at a Frisco, Texas mall. Our business relocated 2.5 years into a 3 year service agreement for a 1MB data line. We requested cancellation and were informed the cancellation fee is equivalent to the remainder of the contract. In our case, that was $928 plus a $50 processing fee just to stop service delivery. Thus, its not a fee in the traditional sense. We paid for installation and all wiring so this fee is a textbook example of excessive enrichment. We tried to amicably resolve the issue with their support organization but were consistently told that their legal department determines the fee to be valid. What makes their business practices particularly devious is that they physically separate their fee structure from the service agreement. This is a deliberate design to mislead customers from recognizing that once an agreement is signed they are liable for all costs for the remainder of the agreement, regardless of circumstance or even if service is delivered. Shame on them.
Jordan from Premiers was extremely helpful! Will definitely be recommending him to others. Extremely hardworking and caring!
I called several times to get my forwarding number changed because I got a new answering service. As of today, I have been calling several times a week, for about 3 weeks. My calls have been escalated to supervisors and they assure me that the forwarding number will be changed within 48 hours. I called this morning and explained the importance of having this changed because as of right now I am having to pay for 2 answering services because I signed a contract with my new service but Im still having to keep the old service so we dont miss important maintenance emergencies, etc.. The importance of a answering service is huge for an apartment complex. The customer service is very poor and each time I call Im on the phone for at least 45 minimums. The associates just put me on hold in hopes that I will hang up, which ive had to do before because I cant be on hold for an hour at a time. If someone could please give me a call to correct this it would be greatly appreciated.
Horrible experience from start to finish. Non stop issues! Daniel Senteno, my rep is non responsive. Customer service is beyond incompentent. I have made countless calls over a countless number of issues. This has cost me, as a new business owner, an endless number of lost customers and that equates to dollars. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. Unfortunately, I am forced by my leasing company #macerich to use them. Also, their pricing is far higher than any other provider and believe it or not, they still charge for long distance minutes. Also, they are a reseller of an incumbent and are essentially a middle man, depending on the incumbent to resolve their endlesss issues.
Jordan D. from premier accounts was extremely helpful! Unparalleled level of passion and engagement. Would recommend 10/10 times.
Account management is amazing, their porting process is straight forward, and their customer service is about as good as you can get for a telecom service. If you need your POTS lines converted/and or managed, Granite is no doubt the provider that should be on the top of your list.
Lauren G from Granite ⭐️. Anything I need she is always so responsive and on top of it. I once sent an email after hours and within minutes the email was answered putting my concerns at ease. Can’t say enough good things about Lauren and the rest of the team at Granite!
Woooooow ...... Stay Away! You think your provider is bad and is robbing you... Wait till you try granite and you will regret the day you made the switch. Any Call you make to them about getting the service they charge you to work will be billed to at least $300 per visit.... it doesnt matter if they fix it or not !I was charged $600 for two visits in a 20 days period.... and my issues are not fixed. They use technical words to throw you off... Im going to the Better Business Bureau and I suggest everyone struggling do the same!Customer service is non existent because it doesnt matter how many times you complaint.... there are no consequences...BUYER BEWARE !
They are not too big to the point we feel like a number in their system and they are not too small to the point they are too busy to respond. The service and agents are great.
Granite is awesome. I would recommend them to any business. There customer service is impeccable. A+
Do not waste your time and money with GraniteIm a small business owner and my store was planning to switch our Internet service from AT&T to Granite. On Feb. 15, the Granite offered us $139/month for Internet and Phone line service with 3-year contract, so I signed it. However, after waiting more than 1 month, on Mar 27, 2019, Granite came and failed to install the Internet service at my store. So, I called/emailed them to find out why they failed it and nobody from Granite gave us clear answer. So, I emailed them to cancel my 3-year contract since they couldnt provide us the service. But, without any response on my email, somehow they just sent us an invoice of $2100. So, I called/emailed them again explaining the same situation and asked about the invoice but Granite said that the service is active on their side and I didnt follow their instruction so I need to pay the bill. Again, I provided them the proof that we did everything as they directed (Granite thought that our router was the problem and told us to buy a new one from Bestbuy so I bought a new router they want and nothing changed) but the service still didnt work and asked to cancel the 3-year contract once again. Then Granite sent us the Letter of Disconnect with $3600 early termination fee. So, I contact them again and refused to sign the paper, and then one of Granite customer service supervisor named, Craig Levine, said that he will see what can be done with that termination fee once I sign the paper with $3600 termination fee on it. I kept on refusing to sign and they continue to force me to sign the paper with early termination fee on it, otherwise they will keep adding the charges for each month service fee which we dont have. It has been more than 3 months of sending emails back and forth. They have been very rude and never listen our words eventhough we provide the evidence that we did everything they want.
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY!!! Ive been trying to determine if this company is corrupt or just incompetent. At this point, Im convinced they are corrupt. The salesman quoted me a price for a flat rate plan. My first invoice was for twice what he quoted me. The salesman recommended I pay the invoice anyway and they would credit me later. I refused. Second month was incorrect also. Turns out they entered my plan incorrect in their system. After two months, they shut off my phone lines. I worked through several people at customer service and finally reached someone who took my a credit card payment over the phone for part of the bill - enough to turn my phones back on. I emailed my primary CSR and the original salesman and told them this had been a disaster from the beginning, and that I wanted to cancel the plan. I told them what I would pay them, based on the original quote. I never heard another thing from them for about 10 months, until a notice last week that my account had been turned over to collection. Now the collection company is threatening me constantly with litigation. I have never had a worse experience with ANY company.
I work for a fairly large company that decided to switch to Granite several months ago (presumably to save a few dollars). BIG MISTAKE!!! Our voicemail hasnt worked in months and their idea of customer service is to tell us its fixed when it isnt. Today we had a message relayed through our IT department that Granite said we need to reset the phones by unplugging each phone and plugging it back in after a few minutes. You can imagine how well that worked. After our office manager insisted that they send someone out to actually fix it, they said that we would have to pay their customary service call charges. Back when we had Bell, service calls for issues that originated with the provider were included. If this company offers you a deal, run away as fast as you can.
Hunter P. - Wonderful and knowledgeable help! Answered all my questions. Great organization.
I love working with Andrea Barbosa at granite! She’s so amazing and thorough! Glad to have her and her team!
In a world of nightmare carriers, Alex Rose and Granite are a breath of fresh air. With locations in varying areas of the country, coordinating repairs and AP had always been a pain. Now i just make one call to Alex and he never fails to deliver.
There’s a reason why this company blocks Facebook reviews. The customer service is horrible, yet they claim for it to be the heart of their company. From the installation of new chips in our work phones to the current customer support for service connection issues, I’ve never had a good experience with Granite.

This is to commend Sandy Keefe of Granite Telecommunications, LLC who did an exceptional job of resolving an account transfer issue on our firms service. Sandy is a true professional and a key contributor to Granite’s success. Its because of Sandy and her colleagues that Granite Telecommunications is our long-standing carrier.

The public WiFi in our building worked great before Granite was contracted to up grade the buildings infrastructure with a T1 line. After the upgrade the public WiFi is non existent. This company is just incompetent. Three months have elapsed and the WiFi is still down. This company is OBLIVIOUS!The company asked for more information so they could correct the problem and did nothing!
What a joke!!! Paying them for service they are not offering us. Cant make outgoing calls on one of two lines, receive incoming calls though, but no voicemail... They tell us theres an outage... 😂😂😂 an outage specific to certaine lines and doesnt affect incoming calls... 😁😁😁 Have spent TWO days working on this with an embarrassment of a customer service staff. Waited 58 minutes to speak with supervisor, Natasha, who passed the buck for 45 minutes before passing it once again, ALL issues still unresolved. I wish I received compensation for doing nothing. Wait, no I dont. Success feels good. Solving problems increases self-esteem. Would be nice to see someone even attempt to resolve our issue. POOR SERVICE.
Andrea Barbosa and her team are super helpful and is always seeking new ideas and approaches. Granite telecommunications has the best costumer service!
Jordan Davis provides an exceptional customer experience. I will work with this company as long as I can liaise with Jordan. Thanks for all you do!
