Last year I purchased a vehicle from them, even picked up an extended warranty. Fast-forward a few months forward and my engine locks up due to an Oiler recall on the vehicle. Not only did they sell me this vehicle knowing that the recall was never claimed back in 2016, but they also sold me the extended warranty on top of knowing they wouldnt cover for this reason. Will never be purchasing a car from this dealership again.

Worst experience ever buying off my car lease. Do not even lease with them they lie to you and tell you want to hear and then when it’s time to pay off the car it’s a whole other story. You honestly should go anywhere else but here. I paid 22,000 dollars on car that was valued at 9,000.

I live in California and I was in a market for a KIA stinger Premium AWD. I soon found out that there was no inventory of what I was looking for in California so I had to go on Nationwide search for this car. I searched every site possible and found a few options but none were close to where I lived. We drove an hour and 45 minutes to Shottenkirk Kia. We were promised $14-16k on our trade-in after MULTIPLE emails with a salesman telling him how many times dealers had brought us in based on lies. They had photos of it, all the info, even the VIN. I told Brian how crazy my life is and how hard it would be to get up there and that the deal better be what he promised. We finally found one evening we could go. I found the perfect car that I wanted. I loved it. The deal came back with $11,600 for my trade-in. I was totally lied to by the salesman and the manager, Brad, had nothing to say about it, wouldn’t even speak to us. Very angry and disappointed that I didn’t get my new car and that I used up my entire evening for nothing. Thanks for keeping it real, Shottenkirk. Solidified my findings. Don’t trust car dealerships/salesmen.

Ehh, probably wont be back here again. I was a first time customer for the service department, and the service advisor kinda had a crabby attitude with me. But when she was with other customers she was just happy to be assisting them. Plus the Oil change was around 60ish dollars, which was almost double what I would have paid in Peoria. Lost my business.

We have bought 4 cars now from shottenkirk Kia Quincy IL. 3 brand new off the lot this was a certified pre owned 2014 sorento with 35000 miles on it fully load 26000 dollar used car. I can say it will be the last time I consider them when we by our next one. All the cars we have bought has been in a 6yr period. This time the wasnt detailed which they said they did. Then the sunroof was leaking so they came and picked it up and dropped it off. We had a full tank of gas when they picked it up it was brought back with a quarter of a tank not washed or vacuumed out. Thought since the was checking for sunroof leak they would have atleast washed it to check to see if it was still leaking. When we bought the car we had a payment set up all paperwork signed and then they call a few days later said the payment would actually be higher than what we agreed to. This is the second time theyve done that to me. I also know a few other people that buy kias all the time they receive gifts in the mail and tell me storys about how great the service is at other locations. Overall Im not very happy when I think about the experience weve had there.
