5 stars just isn’t enough for this venue! We started our wedding planning with Amy before the pandemic started. Amy went above and beyond her call to help us make sure our wedding was everything we imagined. Even through the multiple phone calls filled with tears Amy assured us that she was going to make it perfect. She was so flexible in meeting with us anytime we needed too. She took our vision of what we wanted for the decor and made it better. If you’re looking for a venue with staff that truly care about you and your wedding day then The Tirrell Room is the way to go! The bartenders, chefs, and all of the coordinators are the friendliest people I’ve ever worked with. Besides the wonderful staff members we worked with, the food was phenomenal and the land is beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined planning this wedding with anyone else or anywhere else.

We were having an after funeral get together (coalition?) And the staff couldnt be so considerate to my family. The food was amazing, the establishment is gorgeous, just overall was beautiful ❤️

On Saturday evening, September 5, 2020, I held my retirement celebration at the Tirrell Room. The celebration was originally scheduled as an indoor event for 250 guest for July, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent ever-changing social distancing regulations, the event had to be rescheduled to September, modified as a hybrid celebration and changed to an outdoor event under two tents overlooking the Blue Hills. Amy Barrett and Jennifer Boucher, Tirrell Room event coordinators, worked tirelessly with me and my event planners to make it all happen and to ensure that it would be a celebration that would not be forgotten and that people would still be talking about for years to come! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Amy and Jennifer! Everything went off without a hitch! Every detail was perfect! And, hats off to the amazing Chef, Wait-Staff and Bartenders—Awesome!! The ambiance was stunningly beautiful ... the wine was superb ... the appetizers were off the hook delicious ... the four-course dinner of salad, baked ziti, chicken and blacken salmon with roasted potatoes and a vegetable medley ... and the tantalizing dessert of fruit tart were to die for!! I highly recommend the Tirrell Room ... You won’t be disappointed!!!

So my wedding was October. 18 2020 and it wont have happened if I didnt have the beautiful, amazing, dedicated Amy. I first met Amy, when my venue for my shower had to cancel on me because of Covid-19 new regulations. I ran over to the Tirrell Room crying trying to find someone to help me plan a shower in 1 month. After hearing my story, Amy jumped on it and made everything happen with a blink of an eye. She worked with our budget and it came out to be an amazing event. We joked about her being my coordinator a couple of times because working with her during a pandemic actually made me enjoy planning wedding events. But I had already put a down payment with another venue. Fast forward a month later after the shower... my wedding venue fell through. I called Amy with the heart breaking news and asking if she had our date available. Luckily the date WAS and she was ready to work with us a second time. She is the type of coordinator that will take your crazy phone calls at 12am or will drive just to talk to you because your having a bad day. Her energy is so contagious, that once you speak with her your day is completely full of love, laugh, and joy. My husband and I are honored and grateful to have worked with someone like her. She wants your day to be special and doesnt try to rob you of your money like most venues. Shes honesty and works with your ideas so you know where your money is gping to. Highly, highly, recommend this location!!!Thank you Tirrell Room and Amy for making our wedding happen during these sad times. Our Wedding day was the best day well forever remember. Cant wait to have another function here.

I dont even know where to begin in writing this review. The wedding that I was able to have at the Tirrell Room exceeded all expectations and really made my dreams come true. The venue was stunning, the food was incredible, but the staff was really what blew me away the most. Jenn is the most incredible person and wedding coordinator you will ever come across. From the very beginning we had a clear estimate of prices that made planning and budgeting so much easier. In the year and a half planning process she supported me through every step of the way. She always responded quickly to emails and answered every question that popped into my nervous head. For the day of the wedding she executed all of the planning flawlessly and made my husband, my family and myself feel like royalty. All the other staff members were also incredible... bartenders, wait staff and the chefs. Amy... you felt like a family member watching out for me every step of the way. I cant thank you all enough and I cant recommend the Tirrell Room more. Stop looking, youve found the venue of your dreams!

Had my wedding reception here and it was perfect. The facility is beautiful and held 200 + people without ever feeling cramped. The staff was on point the entire time. Very attentive and responsive to any requests we had. The whole thing was perfectly executed and totally stress free for us. All we had to do was show up and have a good time.

We were here for a wedding recently. It was a great time. Large venue with plenty of room to dance and setup tables.

We were there for a wedding. It is a beautiful genre. There is an outdoor area with seating, should one wish to take their vows outdoors. The appetizers and meal was delicious. The servings generous. Most guests could not finish their meals. The DJ was great. Plenty of parking. From what I understand, there are many wedding packages available as well.

High school reunion...3rd one here...great time really good food

We had to wait to get in because the event before us ran a little late and one of the servers was rude. It was our church 75th anniversary and it was buffet style but for some reason, during the cheese and crackers time, the older server felt she had to say when everything is gone its gone for no reason at all and I know she heard me talking about how rude it was and decided to serve me a smaller portion of rice and vegetables when passing her dish she was serving.

We had our wedding at the Tirrell Room this past weekend and it was everything we hoped for. Jen was very accessible and did everything she could to make sure everything was right. They were a centerpiece short and took care of it for us instead of emailing me/calling me the day of to figure something out. When we forgot a piece of the centerpiece we were notified that it was missing and that they could take care of it if we needed them to. These are two examples of how they go above whats expected to make sure your day is stress free. The food was AWESOME. I especially loved having the gazebo in the back all lit up for the evening. Worth every penny.

The Tirell Room! We recently attended a wedding Saturday evening Sept 10, 2016. The venue is lovely... the Gazebo wedding and the view of the sunset was stunning. We moved inside after the ceremony to a lovely setting that looked out on the gazebo. The food was excellent and served family style!I do have to say that your biggest asset is your Staff. Mary Kelly Ryan was our server and could not be more attentive and friendly. We contacted Pete another server and he was only to happy to provide a gluten free meal for one of the guests at our table. The shuttle back to the hotel was not leaving when we wanted (another 2 hours!). I went to the manaer, Amy Barrett and she was kind enough to call for two taxis to get 7 of us back to the Boston Quincy Marriott. Thank you so much for a very pleasant experience!

I really dont where to start! Jen and Amy are both unbelievably awesome! From the first day that I visited The Tirrell Room to the day of my wedding (a little over a year), they were with me every step of the way to answer any questions and accommodate any requests we had. I spoke mostly with Jen. She was very easy to get ahold of, and like I mentioned, very willing to accommodate anything we needed. She made it clear that our wedding was our day and she wanted everything to be exactly how we wanted it. We did many of the florals, dessert pieces, and other decor items ourself. We were a little worried that no one would be around the morning of the wedding to set them up for us, but Jen set it all up for us!! We dropped everything off the week of and told her how we wanted them displayed and she followed it perfectly! From other brides and vendors I have spoken too, its not often that youll come across a venue coordinator who is willing to do things like that. In fact, many of the outside vendors that I used told me that they love weddings at The Tirrell Room because Jen and Amy are so easy to deal with. Another bonus was the food! In my opinion, you dont go to a wedding hoping the food is really good. In most cases, its decent, but nothing too special. I chose the prime rib and baked stuffed chicken for our wedding and so many of our guests made a point to tell us how good the food was. The hors doeuvres were excellent, too! Even the next day when I arrived at the venue to pick up our stuff from the night before, Jen and Amy had put everything neatly together for us. I really cannot say enough great things about this place. We had 296 guests at our wedding and there was plenty of room for dancing, eating, and socializing. The venue is beyond beautiful. The outdoor cocktail area overlooks Blue Hills and the sky turns a gorgeous color during sunset. Unfortunately, my wedding was during a norEaster, so we were not able to take advantage of that, but we still had a blast and everyone still had so much fun. I highly, highly recommend The Tirrell Room for any type of function - wedding, showers, parties, ect - you wont once be disappointed or second guessing yourself!

Bathrooms in the tirrell room were pretty small, service was slow and never bothered to refill water at tables.
