Most times responses are delayed days or more. Sometimes emails/ calls go unanswered until followed up (sometimes multiple times). Out of the three insurance companies Ive had, they have been the least involved and valuable by far. They refuse to cover damage, and multiple times have claimed it was due to pre-existing issues/ wear and tear. I have now had to fight for two expensive repairs to be covered.My car was stolen.... 3 months ago! Was recovered with a snapped axel, major damage to passenger side, etc. There werent any issues prior to the thieves wrecking my car. Keys were stolen and somehow the appraiser tried to deem it as not covered. I said I would fight this and luckily my claims specialist included it in coverage. Again, car is returned ... nearly 2 months later... repaired. First drive and there is a broken radio, brake/ calipers/ rotors/ wheel grinding, etc., Somehow this is due to normal wear and tear.Ultimately, I am punished and paying a considerable amount for some people who got drunk, smoked weed, took a joyride in my car, and stole my belongings to take home as party favors. No record of major repairs, accidents, or issues before all this.
I have been attempting repeatedly to file a claim for days this week. No answer, no calls back. What the AF? Seriously? Called the BBB and they basically laughed when I mentioned this company.I finally got through to an adjuster and she told me to file through my own company if I didnt like how they handle things. SERIOUSLY????!?
This company is a joke. 2020 commercial vehicle damaged. Adjuster says it’s repairable, bring it to the place who makes it and says these have to be done to a T. They recommend another company to have it done since this is such a unique repair. Well these clowns botched the repair which says THE VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED NOT REPAIRED. The damn truck has 1400 miles and it’s not totaled!!?GET YOURE SH!T TOUGHER ARBELLA!
I should have read the reviews. Worst experience ever with and INS company. Took months to get my settlement and the claims adjusters put you on hold and never come back. Hard pass. Lesson learned.
They will repair your car with cheap, NON OEM parts and then pocket the difference. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. TOTAL SCAM. Their review rating should be even lower, but the Arbella employees are leaving fake 5 star ⭐ comments. Report them as a conflict of interest. Here is the real company rating from yelp.

On December 21st at 04:12 pm I recieved a voicemail from Caitlin stating my vehicle was totalled and to call her back asap to start that process. seeing that it was after business hours when I listened to my voicemail I waited till the 22nd to call back. I called Caitlin 6 times on the 22nd and left 2 voicemails with no answer. I called 3 more times on the 23rd again to no avail, I even left a voicemail for one of her managers.This is my first accident and Arbella is supposed to help me with my claim and walk me through it but I received no help or assistance. I have been continuously, yet unsuccessfully, trying to get in contact with the arbella office to start this process since I only have 30 days of rental coverage on my policy. I’d like to finish the totalled vehicle process so I can eventually start looking for another vehicle and I don’t know how long that can take. Due to how things are currently going, it seems I wont get in contact with anyone until my rental coverage is over. I expect that Arbella will not have me pay for any additional fees to continue in this current rental vehicle as I have done everything on my part to find a resolution. I also expected that my insurance company arbella would be there for me and make this a seamless process. It is a shame that Geico, the other parties insurance agency, has been more helpful to me, explaining the process and how accident claims generally work. I would like to continue doing business with Arbella Mutual but again I am very unsatisfied with the company’s handling of my claim.

I agree with everyone else. They are the worst. I have been in a rental car for week because they will approve the paint to be fix. I have contacted my lawyer and getting ready for court. Be ready to do the same thing if one of there customers hits you.
Don’t kno we’re to start,but honestly they are the worst insurance ever they over charging,first they start opening a policy with one amount then and 2 months they increase the policy for more then 248 dollars
Several family members and myself have been members of Arbella for over 20 years. Their customer service has been exceptional! Over the years, we have made claims on both our cars as well as our house. The representatives are always very professional and extremely thorough. They have always come through for us! Our rates have never changed (due to the claims weve made) and they have never denied us coverage. There are a lot of insurance groups around but we would never leave Arbella because we know they will always have our best interest in mind.
My mom works for arbella and some of the customers she talks to are so rude and disrespectful. The people that call talk over her and have no respect for what she has to say. If you want someone to help you then treat them with respect.
We own two buildings and two units within two other buildings and need to have our heads analyzed! Yep.We ve never missed a payment nevertheless, this Company has never paid out a claim fairly.Like others stated below, they simply want your money to be their money.

By far the worst most unreasonably high priced insurance. I only dealt with them because my other company stopped working with my agent and they gave me this. Not sure why i waited so long to switch but i now insure 2 vehicles and it is less than half the price. If you are late one day they send out threatening letters that they contacted your bank etc. Every year my cost would go up. One letter bragged about how they continued to make more money again... No kidding. If you have this company just switch to anyone else.
Absolutely terrible to deal with. They dont want to pay anything and especially if you have third party claims they try to make it so its a 50-50 fault and they dont pay anything out. I will be dropping this company ASAP its too bad that used to be good
Horrible customer service.Winter snow pile of 15-20 feet on top of car...melted/refroze/more snow from winter of 2014-2015. When could clear car, both mirrors had broken downward from weight of snow, causing dents and scratches to both doors. Tried to say it was 2 separate collisions...including the sidewalk side? Car was parked under snow. Damage is DOWNWARD not sideways. Took it to shop..shop agreed it was not collision but instead comprehensive from the weight of snow. Got appraiser to come out and look again, re-evaluate, and agreed...now it is 2 separate comprehensive claims, even though it is the same snow, so they can nail us for 2 deductibles. Shop and appraiser agree on pricing, call the adjuster..seems good to go even though this took almost 3 weeks. Car gets repaired in a couple days....Arbella pays one side, not the other.Calls, waiting, no paperwork, then finally a claim number, paperwork goes through..they issue a check - 1/7 th of the agreed cost (and meanwhile waiting a week for check to get there).Call again...paperwork has to be redone. Wait another week for that. Shop wont release car until they get paid. Finally paperwork done, says check will go out Monday. It is now Friday afternoon and still no check.Asked how much check was for...just to make sure it is enough...and it is still not right but if the check ever shows up, it is more than what we need to get car released but still...cannot do anything right. And now 6 weeks with no car.WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER.Multiple chances to do it right, correct mistakes...still cannot manage to do their jobs.

I have to say, I am very thankful that I have Progressive Insurance. I am trying to deal with Arbella now and they are not returning my calls or claiming liability. I am having a baby any day and I do not have a car or a car seat. The level of service I am receiving from this company is unacceptable. I, and my unborn child, should not be punished because someone chose to pull out into oncoming traffic without looking first.

Was in the process of renewing my insurance. When I was informed that your policy will not be renewed. 3 days after it had expired how nice.

Horrible! Please be aware of this company! Quick enough to take a year of insurance. However when my husband was in an accident. They were useless!!!!!!! Did everything backwards. Now, have to take them to small claims court. When speaking with an Agent it took him over a week to call us back. Was Never! on our side. Had to literally go in to Arbella! Just to have someone help us. Especially needing this car for our Autistic Child to take back & fourth to school. #BewareTruly.

My parents had arbella for over 20 years. They totalled their car and they only gave them a r ental for 7 freaking days. When I asked the manager why only 7days, his response was I think thats plenty of time to buy a car. Really?
Constantly overcharged, missed paperwork and they screwed up several months of automatic deductions, even though they had the same account info for years. This led to one late and one missed payment that were both their fault. No follow up, no phone call or anything. Just cancelled the policy without any notification after being a customer for almost 20 years. Do not use!

This place sucks! i had house insurance for over 20 yrs,first they go up on house insurance,they like taken our money for all these yrs then once u make ONE claim that wasnt that much,they send u a letter saying they dont want to renew ur insurance???????? really they take our money with no problem but wouldnt want u once u MAKE A CLAIM seriously?i called them to ask them even though they have the right but this is just not right! they are not nice ppl,they dont care for their customers at all...so i suggest for ppl to really consider not going to them & with the ppl who complaint about them too,they are right!!!!!!!!! ARBELLA should lose their customers!!!

I am ashamed to say that I was ripped of by this company for years. Finally this year I compared my auto insurance to some other providers ... Arbella was about $1600.00, others were about $600.00. So I switched and lo and behold, they bumped up my homeowners insurance by $550.00. These guys are a rip off. If you are buying insurance from these guys I suggest you do some shopping.
If you want to burn your money go for this insurance, they do not update data never provide any clarification as to why they are charging this amount. I would definitely not recommend this insurance to anyone.
