Wow! Really great customer service. I had a notice that a package was delivered into my community post box, but when I checked the key to access the box was not in my mailbox. We called our local post office who immediately spoke to our postal carrier to sort out the confusion. The correct key was placed within my mailbox within 5 minutes. I have never, ever had such great customer service with a mail delivered service. Our carrier is great, the folks at the post office are great and it’s just so greatly appreciated!

My experience here was awful. Our apartment office is not holding packages right now, so anytime the carrier doesnt feel like delivering them to our homes, they go back to the post office. My tracking information gave me the address to this location to pick up my package. So, I went down here, only to be told I was wrong, that it wouldnt be here. I showed them the tracking and they blamed me for using the wrong app until they saw for themselves that it was the USPS app. Then, they told me to recite my tracking number to them so they could prove they were right. They couldnt type the number right and then blamed me for giving the wrong number. Awful and insulting. PLEASE dont come here unless theres no other optio.

I’ve been on the search for my missing package and customer service, advised me to come this location. This was the last location, my package was scanned at! To check and see if the package was there, I doubled check with customer service, twice. Well I get here and guess what! I am told, no you’re wrong, it wouldn’t be here because of your zip code.I explained serval times, this is the last location that shows scanned! No help, at all.Don’t waste your time here, awful customer service.

I dont really write reviews and especially not bad ones but my experience at this post office has steadily gone downhill over the past year and I just want to let others know that if you can go to the post office up on South Hill the service is infinitely better, or for that matter just go to UPS / FedEx. I used to not mind going here at all but some of the people retired and there is now a gentleman there (shorter, black hair, and I believe hes a supervisor of some kind) who is just incredibly rude and unhelpful. Not our problem seems to be his catchphrase and his condescending nature is just the epitome of bad customer service. Like I said Im really not one for negative reviews but to anyone reading this dont go to this post office unless you have no questions and are just dropping something off.

Absolutely no covid protocols to ensure even a bit of safety. Many people are crammed into a small room, and if someone needs supplies or packaging or what have you they squeeze into the very small space between the line of people and card displays. I was obviously trying to get out as fast as possible. The clerk obviously noticed this and certainly overcharged me when I asked for the cheapest shipping, because this was a tiny media mail package which he slapped a $10 shipping charge on. I didn’t bother arguing because I just wanted to leave and he was directing two decrepit old maskless people he was simultaneously serving to come over to the register and window that I was at at the same time inexplicably. I went on a Saturday around noon and it quickly became packed with people, so if you don’t want to incur that much risk just the ship a package, I recommend not coming here. The Sumner post office is not great but at least provides enough room when standing in line.

During the hard times and covid-29, the post offices in Puyallup provide critical services (prescription delivery, last mile for packages and many more), in vans with no AC. USPS, is a vital asset to the US, the workers are not paid in proportion to the hours/work conditions. If you have the chance to personally thank them, please do so.Thank you all.

People standing within arms length, tape lines are almost nonexistent. Clerk was rude and had an attitude when I made a mistake and told me I wasnt listening to him while waving his hand around. Had to reach over and forcibly tape my box back. 10/10 would not return nor recommend to anyone.

HORRIBLE service and INCOMPETENT employees. Ive had a PO Box here for 25 years, and have put up with their inefficient and inept service for the last time. Its one thing that they cant ship or deliver a package properly and have really long lobby lines with 1 person working, etc., but now they lock me out of my PO Box claiming non-payment? I have never missed and/or been late on my PO Box payment in 25 years! When they looked it up on the computer, they realized that is was actually paid and said it was a mistake. Really? This is the last straw for me at this Post Office. Ill be closing my PO Box here as soon as I can get my mail rerouted. This is the only business that I hope goes under due to the pandemic.

Small with only one clerk, but waiting in line at a post office is normal right?More importantly, theres a good sized parking lot out front for free as well as a few street spaces! Navigation with my truck was no problem.

Ive called 3 times and listened to the phone ring for 5 minutes before their phone service automatically hangs up on you. The tracking number for my product shows it was delivered to an entirely wrong zip code and I just want to talk to someone to straighten this out.

This post office is a convenient walk from the Puyallup Train Station. The building is in poor repair with the handicap ramp hand rail destroyed. There is no drive up mail drop which is inconvenient, but there is plenty of 2hrs or less parking across the street as well as on the adjacent streets if you are willing to walk to drop off. Once inside the drop box is a bit hidden in the back amongst the post office boxes. Overall this site does the job but it is not the best functioning office available.

I am new to Puyallup and just left this horrible place in which I WILL NOT be back. The lady behind the counter was very very rude. She shoved my box back at me and hit me with it not once but twice when my shipping label said ups and not usps. Then when I asked where ups was she said Fred Meyer when I asked where that is she rudely said FRED MEYER... I did not know how to get there but I ended up finding it. If this is how you all treat people you need to rethink. What happens to good customer service? Smh

Need more clerks during busy times. 1 is not enough when the line is 20 deep.So why are there no longer drive up mail boxes available in town? They’ve also removed the one on South Hill? It was a nice option for the elderly and others who don’t need to go inside to drop off mail.

I was there to drop off 3 preposted packages. I normally mail my eBay packages from the USPS Milton branch where I also have my PO box. I dropped my 3 packages in the drop box at about 3:30pm. I have to mention that the previous night I went somewhat out of my way to mail these same packages at the Pine St distribution center and their drop box was jammed. This is because the Milton branch only has small drop box doors which is frustrating and has been inconvenient at times. Back to Puyallup...I usually check my tracking info every night to verify that all my packages were scanned in and in transit. Last night none 3 packages were scanned in at that time. Today however 2 of the 3 showed scanned in at Milton, which may be because my return address is a Milton PO box. Either way 1 package is missing as far as Im concerned. Its very important that my tracking is uploaded on time and that my package is scanned in on time for my eBay sellers status since Im not a high volume seller, 1 or 2 late shipments can have a noticeable effect. The Milton branch has a pick up time of 5:30 and everyday all my packages are usually scanned in no later than 5:30, everytime in three years of doing business there. So the drop box door size is probably a tolerable trade offafter reading the other reviews for here and a couple other POs and along with my experiences at a couple different local POs I should be grateful for the consistent, reliable, honest, friendly, and helpful service that I have been receiving for the last 3 years at the USPS Milton branch. I cant understand the extreme differences consistency of quality of service between branches. Its not rocket science, its been the same program for many years you think that it would be polished and fine tuned to at least be average, but most of all be consistent with scanning in for tracking and postmarking. I shouldnt have to stand in line to only have my packages scanned in because I cant trust that my packages might be lost especially if I utilize pre labeled postage, which lightens the load at the service counter. Ill update this with my end results.

The self service completely a waste of my time. Didnt print my postage had to wait for awhile for someone to help me, the line was out the door with only ONE attendant. Confused bc this is a very busy time of year with only ONE attendant. I finally got my postage and I accidentally picked the wrong postage? Was told to stand back in line! Horrible service. Left very upset and letter still in my hand.
