We purchased a tub at the fair and let me tell you these people deserve a 100 stars for customer service. I consider myself a bit picky when it comes to service because I was in customer service for many years . Everyone works as a team and is so eager to help! We visited aquaquips tent and were treated rudely and like they didn’t want anything to do with us. So excited for our Viking tub! It will be here within one week! Steve was our salesman and Chris kovacs was the manager who provided so much info. All of the guys were friendly and helpful even the ones who didn’t “get our sale” I’ll be sending my parents and friend their way to get their spas!

I bought a used hot tub/spa from a friend. I didnt know anything about maintaining the water chemicals, or anything. The staff here has been VERY helpful with answering questions. They even tested a sample of my water and gave me very specific instructions on what to do to fix it. So very helpful!
We had the best experience with this company. Zack was the best salesman. He made it all so quick and easy. Always answered all of our questions. The delivery guys were in and out in less than an hour, and knew exactly what they were doing. No problems at all! We highly recommend this place for all your spa needs!!!

Everyone is very helpful. They are always willing to answer questions. AND they dont pressure you to make a sale. I have a pellet stove and a pool, so its a one stop shop for me, so convenient.
The fireplace guy is quite helpful even if you didnt buy your stove or fireplace insert from them.

I purchased a spa from Aqua Rec in 2009. Since the first of August, I have been trying to get my hot tub fixed with NO RESULTS. Aqua Rec was prompt in sending a repairman out to check out the problem with the spa (even though I told them I needed a new pump). That was the only quick response I received. After repeated calls and visits in August and September, I finally reached the service manager, Caleb, and around the first weeks of October, he did provide a quote for the repairs. He followed up on Friday, October 18th to see if I had received the quote. I promised him that I would get back to him with a decision on Monday, the 21st of October. I called and left a message. I later called and actually spoke to a live body and left another message. Caleb hasnt called me back. When I called this morning, I was transferred to the service department and voice mail. II would not ever deal with Aqua Rec again - and I advise others to be cautious because they do not respond to customer issues once youve purchased a spa from them.

Usually go to the fircrest store but stopped in here today on my way home, it’s nice to be able to swing into any store when convenient and still get good customer service. I read a few of the bad reviews for this location and can’t help but think that it’s different people than who are at this store.. spent 30 minutes talking to me about a chemical problem with my tub and then we just talked for 15 more minutes about random stuff. Kyle and Kelsei are really great with customers. Ask for them when you go in!

Made the mistake of buying a hot tub at the fair.... unfortunately I didn’t stop by and visit mike first. Mike and his staff are knowledgeable honest people who care about getting you what you need and saving you money in the process.Went in for a free water analysis and Alexis was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She made sure we understood what we needed and why, then created a weekly maintenance schedule and assured us if we needed anything else to just stop in!I will definitely be doing all my business for my hot tub thru Auqa Rec in the future!! Thanks for all the help!!
I only buy spa chemicals here but their selection is good and the staff is knowledgeable.
I purchased a Clearwater Myrtle Beach Spa which included a Covervalet Pro cove lifter. Upon delivery the delivery crew would not install the Covervalet and i immediately contacted Aqua Rec’s service Dept’s, Rick, who spoke with the crew before they left. Rick assured me that “ he” had paid the delivery service to install the lift and that he would have a service person install the lift Monday (spa delivered on a Friday).Nobody showed up so contacted Rick again with another similar promise. This process occurred several more times until I realized this was Aqua Rec’s apparently mode of operating and installed the lift myself. There was no follow-up by Aqua Rec’s.The Spa was subsequently installed and upon filling with water has a water leak. I contacted Clearwater Spas service Dept and was informed they had a service agreement with Aqua Rec’s for service of the Spas Aqua Rec’s sold. I contacted Rick on this problem. Rick had me message him with a picture of the leak which we discussed and again assuring me that they have a service person servicing my area who would be fixing the leak. Rick also suggested I daily add water until the leak is fixed. Again no follow-upSo I have contacted Clearwater Spas Dealer Service Scott Collke, who has contacted Rick in attempt to have them honor their warranty service agreement. He just reported back to me that Rick is giving him the same “nonresponse”. Scott is now trying to find a local dealer who will do the warranty repair. From this experience, I can only conclude that Aqua Rec’s service policy is to be friendly, promisea fix, and then ignore. Buyer beware!
Can only review the purchase experience of a gazebo and two gas fireplace inserts. Worked with Mike and no complaints. The fireplaces could use service so will update my review based on the service experience.
I busted my but to get there before they closed. I arrived at 5:50 just as the ladies were driving out of the parking lot with big smiles on their faces! Another car pulled in right behind me. They were not happy either! I was prepared to spend $80 on chemicals so my family could swim tonight. I was forced to g to Walmart and spend $20 which worked just fine.
Beware!!! Had them come out replace a part on our gas fireplace the guy assured me that everything was working just fine. I asked specifically if the fan was hooked up and he said yes and left. Later that same day I noticed the fan was not on, so I called them (several times over two weeks) to come back and hook it up. They did, but charged us an additional $70 to do so!!!! We had already paid for the service!!! It was their mistake, the service man even admitted it. The bookkeeper lady threatened to send me to collections after I disputed the additional charge! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!
I have been workin with Alexis D over the phone for the last month. She has gone above and beyond with her Customer service. From shipping out parts I need to Making sure I had the right person to help with technical problems.... I came in prepared to learn all about pool filters heaters and pool set up in order to plan for my own pool. The gentleman who works in the sales area could not have been more clear that he had absolutely no interest in speaking to me. I will never recommend them to anyone else and I will never buy anything from them. Ive never been anywhere so unfriendly, a salesman so uninterested in selling.

When it comes to pools and spas the head of that department is very dishonest misleads customers with the wrong info to try to get more money out of them basically takes advantage of people that dont know whats going on, my advice always check with their competitor and youll see how much different it is when it comes to honesty!!!!!
Well Went to Aqua Recs .. there for parts for a pellet stove .. got the wrong parts. $140. and you cannot return the parts because there electronics ..So went back and CJ.took his time to help.. the girl at the desk kept trying to tell CJ that dont have my part because her dad already looked...CJ. spent three minutes and found my part for me..had to spend other $36 to get right part.. thank you CJ .. and for the girl at the desk next time have try having alot bit better customer service... because Word of Mouth can you can destroyed forty-year-old company... once again thank you very much CJ for helping me....
I am a Realtor and needed a gas fireplace evaluation asap. CJ, in service, had a technician out to the property in 24 hours, which gave my buyers great comfort to know whether or not they should ask for a repair while in the inspection phase.We also had a problem getting a key that morning for the property, and asked CJ to postpone the techs visit by an hour. He did so happily, so we were not paying for their time when we werent inside the home.Just called CJ today for another client with a short inspection timeline and they can get a tech out to me tomorrow!I would highly recommend Aqua Rec!
****Would be no stars but not an option*****No help with the problem I am having. Because I have a Intex pool and The Game sand filter they kept saying and talking about inexpensive products (insinuating that I bought cheap products and I get what I get). I did not purchase from them but what would they have done if I did? Take the money and say Owell. I would think they would want or would like new customers but I guess not. This is the 3rd time I have been in that location and everytime I leave feeling the same way. Horrible customer service starting with the front line that is the people behind the counter. I wont stop foot in that location ever again and will be telling everyone I know about the pop customer service.WORD OF MOUTH GOES ALONG WAY THESE DAYS WITH THE INTERNET AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Not so friendly older guy, not sure if hes the owner or manager, can be rude and very unfriendly.... hes been there a long time, sure customers go else where for service and supplies... well worth the drive to get friendly service!
