Very friendly and helpful folks at the South Hill store. Delivered ahead of time with a driver that was informative and answered any question that I had. I would recommend these folks any time you need a one time equipment use.

Chad at the downtown puyallup location was fantastic! I was about to rent a tow dolly for my sones Honda Accord. Chad had the same vehicle and was able to tell me most likely what my problem was after we talked about my issue. Who would have known that a tool rental shop that could have rented me a dolly to bring my car into a mechanic would same me hundreds of dollars and headaches! Hands down awesome service! So, the wheel fell off my brush hog at the bottom of a hill(a retaining clip broke, understandable wear and tear on a heavy use machine). I thought this was the begining of a very bad experience. The girlfriend and I fought to get it to flat ground, did a field repair, dragged it further up the hill through the field to get it in my truck and take it back. I arrived prepared for a fight. I assumed Id be blamed and not only charged for the rental, but that theyd want to charge me for repairs. Man was I wrong.They apologized for the inconvenience, clearly felt bad I had to fight the machine and made it clear that when something like that happens in the future they will come out and fix it for me, or get another one to me. They also gave me a full refund. Real stand up guys, I will return here for everything I need.

The equipment is fairly priced and works well most of the time .However I Worked for this company and was injured on the job but “they have no obligation to take me back” Thanks Mike !! I found out from my L&I vocational counselor instead of the employer. Scared to tell me or just disrespected for me and my family That is so wrong and shows how they feel about there employees..I would recommend Tacoma/Puyallup/South Hill /Pierce county not rent from this company. Just based on my experience as a manager/employee/human .. The management needs some retraining and racial sensitivity training. As blatant racial profiling and stereotype are the norm The way they treat there yard help is appalling thought it when I worked there. The equipment is old but works and they get new stuff in .. they actually have a catogory of customers in the system called “Deadbeat” got various reasons some didn’t pay some the managers just don’t like. Also try renting scaffolding it’s so hard because all the stores except Tacoma rent it w a regular deposit but the Tacoma Manager requires a full month deposit because well “racial sensitivity training needed” he implied (Mexicans) Don’t bring it back. Also Managers in Tacoma have never heard the word Asian ( they refer to Asians as orientals . I brought up the racial issues and well it didn’t do anything no real changes made .I just wanted to let people know my experience and the worst part is I actually enjoyed working for the company till I was injured and then treated like I was Faking my injury till I had a MRI and had to get surgery..

The fellas in the back helping are great and helpful.The gentleman in the front desk though has very little customer service. No patients for customers . I have rented tools there twice and both times I had the same experience.

Rented a tiller and was hooked up and out the gate in 15 minutes. Excellent service.

They have what you need, dont buy their lawn mowers though.. used it twice and the engine seized along with pieces falling off.

I rented an airless paint sprayer from the downtown Puyallup store. I picked it up Saturday afternoon to use Sunday the guy helping me complained about the lady who took my reservation she had me getting a new sprayer. He changed it to the piece of junk that would not hold pressure. Instead of getting a spray we were getting streams. I called the store on Sunday morning and told them of the problems we were having with the sprayer he blamed me the paint and everything but their precious sprayer. We could not get it to work correctly. I finally had to go buy a sprayer to finish the job ( the new one worked fine with the same paint). I brought the sprayer back Monday morning and i told them that their sprayer was a piece of junk. They tested it to make sure is was clean ( it was ) and then told me the sprayer was working correctly. I said sure it sprays water but I didnt rent a water sprayer I rented a PAINT SPRAYER. He then told me to never rent anything from them again. This store is full of jerks and dont rent anything from them!!!! When you have problems they will automatically blame you not their equipment. STAY AWAY FROM BUNCE RENTALS.
