My car wouldn’t start after picking up my 7yo. AAA sent A1 towing. I think our drivers name was Craig, or Keith. I wish I could remember because he was professional and amazing! After my car wouldn’t start, the car doors locked themselves, it’s was the day before Friday the 13th and a bit of a “Christine “ situation, locks would open and re-lock themselves, a bad afternoon thunderstorm had come thru during all of this! Needless to say, stressful experience BUT A1 towing was amazing! He called with updates on his ETA, and was very prompt, he made it a kinda fun experience for my 7yo who loved the truck, he went out of his way dealing with the door locks, and oh yeah, the windows wouldn’t go back up, but he took time to cover them because of the rain! Thank you to our A1 driver for going beyond the call of duty!

Extremely unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate. The driver Jake completely blocked our driveway we could not exit our own driveway as he needed to tow a customer across the street. Used extremely bad language calling myself and my wife names. I had to contact the Sheriffs Department as the main office to A1 Towing would not help. Do not use this horrible company.

Car wouldnt start, called my warrenty comapny, they called a1 towing and couldnt be happier with the service. My guy had everything to get my lowered car on his flatbed.the kia with the gold wheels

I was in a horrible car crash. I did not have a choice on who would tow my totaled car from the scene. I am so glad A1 Towing came to take my car. I called after being seen at the hospital and they were there to answer questions and were very accommodating. I had to come to their lot to take my personal items out of the car and Jessica offered tools for removing the license plate and came to my car to bring me paperwork to sign being I had a broken leg. Such a great team of people. They go over and above to help in a crisis! I would not think twice calling them to help me again.

They came in the time indicated the guy who came was wonderful did a great job with a difficult situation in a timely manner

This company doesn’t care about customer service. When I called for a follow up about a time for the tow guy who answered the phone said that he had called me several times and I’ve been out to the tow site. My phone did not ring nor do I have a record of him calling. So he gave up on me and hung up.

This company towed my car after a stressful accident and made it very hard for me to collect my left over belongings after it had been towed to the junkyard. They also don’t tell you that every day your car is at the tow place it’s costing you or your insurance company an additional $25 to your accident fees every single day. I called the worker girl to ask where I could bring my car and she hung up on me 4 times and told me to ask my insurance company and “get my claim straight” before talking to them. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and insensitive to someone is just trying to sort out an unexpected inconvenience in their life. Not helpful at all and made this stressful situation way worse.

When reading reviews keep in mind that this company is on County Rotation and that most of the complaints come from people that have had their cars impounded due to DUI, Drugs, No insurance or registration, Driving with no license. These people will say that they didnt give the company permission to tow their vehicle. WELL IF THE SHERIFFS OFFICE TELLS THEM TO TOW IT THEY HAVE TO!!! AS far as getting the car back, there are rules and procedures in place so that only the Registered owner can access the vehicle. (THATS FOR THE VEHICLE OWNERS PROTECTION) THEY CANNOT JUST LET SOMEONE HAVE A CAR BECAUSE THEY SAY IT BELONGS TO THEM. Its common sense that youll be charged daily. Cash isnt accepted because its easy for someone to run their card for an impound and dispute the charge later leaving the company to fight the bank to get paid. They deal with the worst of the worst people. AS for the complaints for roadside calls go, Call the office if you feel like you are treated unfairly. I know for a fact they will make it right most companies do. So, all in all.... dont do drugs, dont go to jail, your car wont be impounded and you wont have to pay any fee. And if you do get arrested, its your fault Stop blaming the company and the police department for your mistakes bring your photo id, proof of ownership and cash and they will let you have your car.

Guy came right out, only 20 mins, to jump my car. Only took a second to get me running again and he only charged me $40 instead of the $45 he quoted. Really appreciate this company!

This extremely rude man was 55 minutes late to a prearranged time of 12. The price was quoted at 257 and magically became 287 of which this man had no money to give change with. I told him that the registration was in glove box and he said it wasnt. Again magically it reappeared after the lazy man walked to car and looked.Then when I wanted change he threatened to have us thrown off lot. 287 for a nine mile tow? Making a single mother wait with a baby for an hour in August??!?The bumper was still on vehicle after accident and was removed for easy towing. There are a lot better companies around Venice towing charges 90 for same tow.Please do not use this extortionist.

So, this is not going to be a good review. I had my tractor parked in a place where there were no signs that said no parking or there were any tow signs or information that the owners did not want anyone there. So this company basically stole my truck and then extorted $555 out of me to get it back. I will be filing in a complete and possibly a civil suit. They just took the truck they didnt even call the company and contact the driver before they towed it, I mean I was 5 minutes away from my truck if somebody didnt want it there they could have contacted my company and I would have moved it no problem but no they got to steal it and then extort money from me. Thats okay well be seeing them in civil court.

Impounded my car🏎 after Sgt Ogden of CCSO lost my mercedes key. Treated it as if it was their own. Will allow you to pick up after normal business hours, for an additional fee of course. Even washed my car🏎 for me.

My car needed a tow yesterday. A1 Towing of Punta Gorda was the company sent by my roadside service provider. Ovi Gonzalez was my driver for A1. I love my car...a lot! I expressed my concerns to Ovi who reassured me that all care would be taken during transport. But beyond great service, care & professionalism, Ovi is a remarkable human being. It’s obvious that he enjoys people, very important in a people business but he truly takes pride in his work as well. It’s always a pain in the neck when your vehicle needs a tow, but I was lucky enough to get Ovi Gonzalez as my driver. This company was very difficult to work with. They were sent to us by roadside assistance, and they hardly tried to work with us. We practically had to beg them to help us. Poor service skills. If you have a choice, chose another company.
