Got me on the road in less than 12 HRS the best I ever seen

Needed the transmission and transfer case replaced on my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee around July 2020. J&K got it done quickly and communicated the whole time. They also replaced other parts as needed (motor mounts, transmission lines, etc).Fast forward one year, and Im experiencing the symptoms of bad motor mounts, even though they were replaced by J&K when the transmission was done. I took the Jeep back to J&K and they replaced the motor mounts for free.To summarize:- Great at communicating/good customer service- Knows how to take care of their customers- Id recommend to anyone who needs any transmission work done!

Very fast and professional service, I only took my car in to get a diagnostic, and only had to wait about 30 minutes. They found that my issue was not connected to the transmission, so they werent able to assist me with repairs. But they found me a good technician who could they trusted and Im excited to continue business with both parties!

Great services and rotated my tires for me. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. They offer a fair price for parts and for servicing the vehicle. Daniel and Sebastian great guys and I would highly recommend getting your vehicle check at J&K Transmissions.

It was late on a Friday and everyone except Sebastian and Christine had gone home I swing in with my truck making a terrible noise they welcomed me and gladly helped me, sebastian quickly tightened my torque converter bolts and fixed the noise!! Other shops turned me away and wouldnt help. But these guys did !!! Christine was nice offered me a bottle of water and gave great customer service!

I bought a new transmission and had problems wit the same soises i had before the new one was installed. I recently took it back in for the yearly service and told them about the horrible noise still being present. They told me it was probably the starter, said the transmission was fine. Ill have to take it to another shop to get it right. Worst $4000.00 Ive ever spent. Would not recommend this business to anyone.

Morgan walked me through every step of the process from the initial findings to every single thing that needed to be replaced. I was happy to know that they were looking out for my best interest. Yes some things did end up adding cost, but in the end I now have a great running vehicle everything is fixed right. I am a customer for life.

The guys at J&K are super knowledgeable. I bring all my vehicles here for all scheduled and preventative transmission care, and if I ever have problems with my transmission. You should only trust transmission specialist to service your transmission and J&K are definitely pros.You get what you pay for and even if the work is a little more expensive then a general mechanic or a jiffy lube (guaranteed jiffy lube WILL destroy your transmission if you service it there!), in the long run your vehicle will drive better and last longer if serviced by specialists.My cars always drive better when they leave this shop, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Well we got quite a run around..we dropped our car off on a Monday morning. By Tuesday they told us we needed a new transmission they gave us two choices we chose the better warranty one. The manager promised us it would be done by Friday..if not they would work all day Saturday till it got done.. we rented a car so the sooner it was done the better. No word from them Friday.. Saturday they were closed. Monday we called and the transmission had not even arrived it finally was done by Wednesday..we drove it 7 miles and then it wouldnt shift. When I called the shop the secretary just laughed because I was mad.. one more day in shop it now runs but I will never take another vehicle to them. They are slow.. dishonest.. and rude.

I had them rebuild the transmission in my 02 ram 2500. It worked great. Although they said they replaced the transmission cooler lines which obviously they didnt even tho I was charged for it. The bottom line was hacked together with hose clamps and the top cooler line was leaking from the cooler, which they said theyd replace free if it was clogged or anything. Well I think leaking tons of trans fluid would warrant a replacement. When I took it back in saying it was leaking, they said it was because of the brass fittings in the cooler, saying they were the wrong kind which they are not because thats the ONLY kind that comes in the cooler. Anyway, not cool. Just wish they wouldve done that little extra bit and put good cooler lines back on at least

I found out that my second vehicle needed a transmission replacement and this was the first place that came to mind when I knew it needed fixing since they did a great job the first time. Make sure they give you a paper quote before they do work on your car, the pricing on the phone and the final price were not the same. I would have gone elsewhere, but they miss quoted and did not include the parts. I asked for the total cost

I have had two amazing experiences here. These guys call right away and let you know exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. They let you decide what you want to fix and give you the options and prices up front. J & K quoted me $1000 dollars less than the first guy I had check out my car for me. I took it in with major issues on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by Friday. I highly recommend these guys and you can bet I will be bringing all of my vehicles here in the future.

I was driving from out of town when my transmission started slipping in drive. I was concerned that I would need a new transmission and would not be able to get home. I contacted mike who was incredible helpful and told me he wouldHave a look right away. After checking error codes, he said it was a minor electrical issue and had the car fixed and ready to go the same day at a very reasonable cost. My son and I got home safely and my Ford F-250 drives perfectly. Thanks guys!

I was referred to them via another mechanic. They repaired our Ford Explorer within the time we needed. We were on vacation when our car had issues and was leaking oil. The price for the repair was great. They answered all my question and even went and picked up my car free of charge. Amazing shop and would recommend it to anyone in the area or out of town needing help.

They accomplish nothing. I then went to a Chrysler dealership service station. They said that there is no way they could do a software update they said they did. That the software update is a Chrysler secret only shared with certified Chrysler dealers.

I needed a new transmission on my 2009 Buick Enclave. I called J&Ms Transmission and they gave me a ballpark price. They told me it is possible that my car could qualify for an extended warranty through Buick. I called Buick and they told me my VIN did indeed qualify for a new transmission due to a defective part (wave plate). The reason I am posting this review is because J&M were honest with me and directly saved me a few thousand dollars. I appreciated their recommendation to call Buick before taking my car.

Its always difficult as a women to take a car in for repair, knowing that there is a possibility to be charged for something that we would have no way of knowing actually needed it or not. I had the best experience with KURT. He truly helped to make the best decision on my transmission. Then noticed my front differencial was having issue and did the work as well. My car drives like a new car now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND J&M Transmission!

New owners and not nearly as skilled. My clutch went out suddenly and towed it into what I thought was J&M. Before even looking at the clutch, they informed me my oil was low (I know, it is an older vehicle and burns oil), and several other trivial problems. What has that to do with my clutch?? When I got it back, they admitted to causing a huge issue with my ABS and did I want to wait another day for them to get the part in? uhh... No. I am over 100 miles away with no other way to get home! I also discovered the cruise control is gone. It is now in my local shop. Not someplace I will go to again.Honest and skilled. I am willing to drive over 100 miles to take my transmission here and have for years. They know what is wrong and dont try to sell you unnecessary services.

Wonderful experience. Always friendly and explained things out clearly. Honest and straightforward. I was pretty sure I had a transmission problem but it looks like its with the engine. Informed me of the engine check codes and did the diagnostics free of charge.

Friday late afternoon, been out in a snow storm and truck isn’t shifting right. Curt tested and found out we have a wet sensor and told us how to drive it home. We live 2 hours away. No parts are available until Monday, but at least we can get home until we can get to a local mechanic. No charge and we know our transmission is good. Thanks Curt!

Had my Acura serviced here, everyone was super nice and my car drives so much better since the service.

They installed a new clutch for me and charged me for a new dual mass clutch. Yesterday my throughout bearing went out so I went to another shop and when they got into it J&M had put a the much less conversion kit in but charged for the more expensive dual mass

When I Felt the Transmission of my Toyota Avalon hesitate, I began thinking about its maintenance. I have had replacement of fluids, drop the trans pan and replace fluids, filter and gasket on my other Toyota and Passat. Did wonders for the smooth drive.Curt was courteous and Extremely knowledgable. Was in and out in a couple of hours, though, above and beyond what I needed as I planned having the car for service with J & M all day.Feel confident now driving to AZ, ID, and CA.They have a FREE check up and I would highly recommend.

All I can saw is WOW!!! I took my F150 in today because I thought it had a transmission problem. They were very kind! They tested my truck in less than 5 mins. After they were done they let me know that the transmission is fine and that it had other problems that were causing the loss of power. I was socked!!!! I know a few mechanics who own shops and none of them are as honest as J & Ms. They now have a customer for life, because I know they wont lie to me after what I saw today. Thanks J & Ms You Guys Are AWESOME!!!!

I know the owner and they know what theyre doing here. They did have some trouble because there was another shop in Orem with the same name that they werent affiliated with and it gave them a bad reputation. J&Ms is my go-to and I send everyone I know to them.

Rude people dont really want to give you the time of day. They do a lot of rebuilt work rather than do replace. So, if they tell you its brand new most likely it not.

My clutch went out on my 2002 maxima with about 190k miles. I called J+M. They were very willing to help and get me what I wanted. I supplied my own parts a SPEC stage 2 clutch with a Jim Wolf Technology single mass flywheel. They charged me 830 for the labor and even did a couple extras which was great like the motor mounts and axles. Well when my car hit 200k miles my oil pump went out and blew a connecting rod. Well Turbo labs in Orem put a new engine It. When they were taking out the flywheel that JandM I stalled they had to drill out the bolts they used because they were too long. So JandM knowingly put in the wrong bolts and cross threaded the holes. Now my flywheel had to be drilled out and They had to break some some of the bolts. I would not recommend this shop because they knowingly put in the wrong size bolts on the flywheel. Now I have to pay an extra 2 hours of labor and machining costs. I have pics for proof of how they used the incorrect hardware. I cant seem to post it and I will later.

I was referred to J&M Transmission, but I will never go back. I took my car in because it wasnt shifting correctly. After they ran their diagnostic test they said I needed my transmission rebuilt. Jerry told me he was just trying to be honest with me, but I was skeptical. I decided to get a second opinion from AAMCO right down the road and after they ran their diagnostic test they found it was just an electrical problem. It cost only $150 instead of over $2000. If I were you I would go to AAMCO. J & M Transmission just want to rebuild transmissions which get them the most money instead of trying to find the real problem.

I have taken my car to them twice so far, and each time the service and cost has been great!

I usually wont even review a place unless I have a problem. I paid over $3,000 to have my transmission rebuilt. It took them about 2 weeks and when I got it back I notied a check transmission light. I took it back to them and they had to pull the transmission out again to replace a tranny sensor. That took another week. Then I noticed it was leaking fluid in my driveway. It wasnt leaking a single thing before they worked on it so I assumed the didnt seal back up the transmission. I took it back over to them and they took 3 days to tell me I needed a front axle replaced. I had them do that for another $200. Its still leaking fluid!! They tell me its coming from the transaxle or some other BS but I took it to an independant mechanic and he told me that the seal on the front axle is leaking. I cant seem to get Jerry over there to take responsiblity for his work. I had that car into my regular mechanics on several occasions prior to J&M working on it and he agrees with me that it wasnt leaking any fluid before this and now, I have problems. If you are considering having work done from these guys I suggest having someone else take a long look under your car before you have work done at J&Ms But if you want me advice, STAY AWAY!! Jerry is a nice enough guy but they just arent williing to admit they made some mistakes.

Kurt is the man! This is a good shop, they do good work and for a competitive price.

Pretty pricy at first but they were willing to work with me to get it done at a cheaper price, not the cheapest around but they are fast and are willing to work with you if you let them know your budget.
