I called about 7 other places in the area to get a quote and estimate on how long the replacement would take and they had the best value and quickest turnaround. I’ve used “Cougar Tire” (formerly Campus Tire Pros) a number of times and have always been satisfied but today I am so impressed. The owner himself was working behind the counter and I was impressed by how he helped me. I had a fuel line issue down the street and sprayed gas out of the bottom of my truck. I had it towed to Cougar Tire expecting to be out of a truck for a few days and to spend a lot but It was an easy fix that took them minutes and they didn’t even charge me. They’re Honest, Prompt, and absolutely know what their doing. Go give them your business!

Amazing service! Two studs broke off when I was putting on a spare, and I had to get to salt lake that same evening. They stayed late and got my car safe to drive. My college daughter went in for an oil change and asked them to check brakes and told them she needs her driver window fixed as it fell inside the door. When she called to see if done they told her brakes were fine but would have to order the regulator as they didn’t have any in stock to bring it back in the next day. When she went to pick it up they charged her $89.95 to check out her window! She never knew they were going to charge her or we wouldn’t have left it as this power window has happened before and we knew she just needed the regulator replaced. They argued and said she knew about the fee and she authorized it. That should’ve been her first sign and warning that they were not honest, but she is learning and on her own and never had to take her car in by herself. Then the next day when she brought it in for the window first thing in the morning they told her 30min-1hour it would be done so she came back actually 4 hours later and it wasn’t done no one could even find the service ticket. They finally figured it out and the guy, Noah, told her now it would be 1 1/2 of labor charged when originally she was told 30minutes-1hr. When my husband called them during this Noah was very rude said our daughter knew all fees which she didn’t nor did she have any estimate that she signed as again we would never have paid $401.65 to have a power window regulator fixed especially when the last time it was replaced was only $155.00 out the door! Plus most places if they charge an inspection fee it goes towards the costs if you choose to use them, again no discount nor did she know about the fee in the first place! Beware of their hidden fees and outrageous labor costs plus it not being done when they said it would be! It was a very costly mistake for us!

Although they were very busy, they found time to squeeze in a quick fix for my car! They didn’t overcharge me and were really friendly and helpful. They were even willing to explain to me the details related to my problem and how they were going to fix it. An amazing experience overall!

Did you know they have loaner cars they give you while they are working on your car???? First things first, thats enough to want to go there. But let me tell you about my experience so far with them.I took my car here for over 4 years up until I left to move out of state, and after doing over 15+ oil changes on 2 different cars, I can tell you these guys are the real deal. They know their stuff and they have so many services all in one spot (tires, brakes, oil change, emissions, registration, mechanic work, diagnostics). I had a car I had to get fixed that was really expensive and they got creative and tried to find different parts and ended up knocking the price down for me too (life of a starving student haha).I honestly dont know why any people in Utah County would go anywhere else unless its because these guys happen to be full or something haha. Great experiences for a long period of time with them.Recently, I had an issue with my car window, and also needed an oil change. The mechanics working on things made a mistake with the window, and when I confronted the owner about it, he was super committed to making it right and the experience I had working with their staff was incredible. They made it right! As always, they never disappoint.

Good customer service the employees are very nice and helpful. When they first opened they were really good with providing good prices and quality service. That i felt like I could trust them but I have noticed the last few times I have been there. That they take advantage of ya and have some questionable service. They told me that I needed some things done on my car that I already had done. Honestly I think they take advantage of people who dont know much about cars and tell them all this stuff that needs to be done when it really doesnt. So be careful and be sure to check other places as well and see if it really needs to be done.

Rod was fantastic! I’ve been to a lot of mechanics in the Provo/Orem area but this place is easily the best. I always go here for all my services now. They have great prices and do the best work. I got my free brake inspection today prepared to almost battle my way through negotiations and upsells. Within 10 minutes I was back on the road with no charge and I had explained to me the reason why my brakes were actually squeaking. (My current brakes only had 1/4 of their advertised life span put on them)so I’ll see you again when the time for new brakes really comes

Quick and efficient $20 flat repair

We ran into trouble with our tire pressure due to a bad air compressor from a gas station nearby. We were stressed out of our minds and were about to cancel a trip. We saw them nearby and walked over. They were so incredibly kind and answered all our questions then filled our tires out of the kindness of their hearts. All I know is the next tire issue I have I am going to them. They were the most kind and professional business I have had the pleasure of coming in contact with in years.

I scheduled an emissions test the day before. Arrived there but tech wasnt there and wouldnt be for a while. They offered a loaner car, which is not ideal, but I appreciated the gesture. They decided none of the loaner cars were safe to drive (scary). I gave up and went elsewhere. Sad - I was hopeful based on the marketing to find a mechanic alternative.

So I had come with my car to get an alignment about a week and a half ago. My car is old and one of the mechanics called after a while saying they were out of something to help them remove nuts and asked if we could come back another time offering a discount for the inconvenience. Not a problem. Wasnt able to come in until today. At the desk I mentioned to the mechanic what the other guy said about a discount and he got very angry at me. Honestly wish I had left here, but I decided to keep with the service cause I made the appointment. It took longer than had been anticipated and I was late for a class because of it. The mechanic also came into the office to make passive-aggressive comments at me while they were working on my car, and I heard them bad-mouthing me in the garage.When he came in to give me my keys, I paid without saying anything, but he just had to let me know how much money he lost on the job because of the discount. Honestly, I know how much these cost and was willing to pay it, I just wanted to see if we could work anything out because Ive been without the car an extra week than I had planned. Im never coming back and I really hope no one else has such a bad experience. I was extremely disappointed because I thought this was a better place than that. I also, honestly, am not sure if they even did anything cause the car feels about the same driving it.He also, apparently, didnt email me my receipt like he said he would or give me any warranty info.

Franco was very helpful over the phone and answered all my questions. They also had the fairest prices, were able to get me in the next day and quickly serviced my vehicle. I got new tires here almost two years ago. The staff was very friendly. However, they sold me a very high-dollar tire that they said would last a long time. The tires lasted less than two years. When I had them replaced at a different shop recently, I was told that the tires I had been sold by Campus Tire were not the touring tires that I was told they were, but that they were precision tires that were not meant to last for a long time. In addition, after Campus Tire had installed my tires, they told me that they had checked over my car and that my shocks were totally shot and I urgently needed new ones that they would be happy to instal for me then and there. My car was less than 3 years old at the time and it didn’t make sense that it needed new shocks yet, so I declined the service. I went to my dealership for an oil change a few days later and asked them to verify that I needed new shocks. They checked my shocks and said that they were like-new and wouldn’t need to be replaced for a long time. While the employees at Campus Tire were very friendly, I felt like they were dishonest and trying to take advantage of me.

Son went to buy tires. 3 year old tires quoted for installation at the “new” price though used so no warranty. Son called home (since it is MY car) and we told him it did not sound good. He let them know he had changed his mind after he had looked that info up and they told him they would charge him $50 for labor for having taken off the tires. That’s not service and excessive. Something fraudulent here. Stay far away. Not to be trusted.

I trust this place implicitly. They explain everything kindly, dont charge extra, and do everything they tell you theyll do. Convenient place, too!

Super friendly workers; my husband’s car broke down in the middle of the street right next to their shop and they helped us push it into their lot, where they let the car sit overnight while we decided what to do. They gave us a free consultation as to what the problem was and answered any questions we had. Although we ended up not fixing it there, we so appreciate their patience and kindness with us, namely Franco and Andrew!

I recently took my car in to Campus Tire Pro and Service for an alignment. They did it fairly quickly and did a fine job with the alignment, but gave me this long list of other costly problems. They claimed one of the problems made my car unsafe to drive and tried to convince me I shouldnt drive it home and should let them replace the part right away. I took my car to a different service shop, and they looked into the unsafe problem. The part just needed to be tightened and the problem was solved. I am so glad I didnt listen to the guys at Campus Tire Pros so I could spend $50 for a little bit of labor instead of $800 for a new part and a lot more labor. This was my only experience at Campus Tire Pros and Service, but they seem like a slimy and dishonest business to me.

This is an absolute scam. Twice now they have tried to tell me my car has over $500 worth of services it needs. As soon as I take it to my family members who know about cars and have them check, they teach me how they are lying to me and prove to me why my car doesnt need the things they say. I also compared their prices they were charging for these services and found they were significantly more expensive. Even when I confronted them about it, they claimed that they were offering great deals for their services. Id stay away from them if I were you.If you want me to be more specific, one example was them telling me my upper ball joint was bad. My cousin sent me a picture of the pattern of balding that should have been present on my tires because of this. I couldnt find any, but I still asked my uncle when he helped me rotate my tires. He confirmed that there was not balding that suggested an issue with my ball joint. He also checked the joint himself and said I should have noticed my steering wheel pulling to one side, which I hadnt. Just one of many examples. His exact quote was, Wow, you must look like you have a lot of money!

Love these guys. Got the car work done. Fixed my alignment. Replaced my ty rods. They do fill auto mechanics, not just tires. Nice people.
