I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars as they always want rips in cash and esp with Covid no stores want cash and i donr carry cash so its. FAIR WARNING to you to bring cash fro tipping. They do great brow wax and cant beat the price of $12. Polish holds up long time if you are not a gel person pick a color with sparkle and a close solid color that matches. Get the sparkle on top and for whatever reason it makes the regular polish last much tonger! Pedicures are very good. I last got gel just because i needed them to last for an event and its been 3 weeks still on.

My daughter was charged $105 dollars for some really BAD nails. I dont think even a new nail tech would do such a BAD JOB. Also the person doing her nails was upset because my daughter kept letting her know she was not happy with the nails. Do NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

I set my opponent at 3:45 and they took 20 min to get me in but overall they did a really good job

After a trying a few other places in the area, sent my wife here. Lots of options. Great service. Honored our appointment time. Felt safe during COVID.

It was horrible, I asked for a design and the girl said she could do it and then when she it they colors where completely off, the lines where way to thin. I told her I didn’t like them she got all mad and told me to sit somewhere else someone will come and get me. Then a another girl came a get me, she actually did the nails good but the whole time her and every one else in the salon where talking abt it in there language. Also I went there with my friend a guy did her nails she asked him for something she got mad and said “no I can not do” in a mean voice. Also my mom got her nails done and the nails where so thick the nail in general they were Arylic. I will never be going here again and neither should you.

I had a reservation for 3:30. I was early. I sat down and waited 10 minutes to be greeted. I was there for a pedicure. I was then shown to the back and told to sit down at a station where they didn’t fill the water — they just left me to sit there. ... for 30 minutes! When I finally asked when someone was going to help me I was told another 10 minutes. I wouldn’t believe it! While I sat there with no warm water in the tub for 30 minutes I was told to wait another 10 and again, I had an appointment!!!!I left - so angry! What a waste of my afternoon and the worst part... they were so busy and didn’t care at all.. NEVER AGAIN!

The pedicure was awesome and the price perfect. I walked in and they were ready to work on me. The girl helped me match my manicure color which was super nice, testing it on her own nails. The scrub and massage was very relaxing and made me feel relaxed. Would recommend people who want a relaxing pick me up come here!

Hands down, the BEST nail salon I have ever been to! Everyone here is welcoming, kind, professional and does amazing work. I live downtown Minneapolis, but will make the drive to Lvy just because they are that much better than any other salon in the city. LOVE this place!

I have been going to LVY in Prior Lake for 5 years now and have never had an issue. Mary the owner is such a sweetheart and will make sure you get taken care of. All the staff are super friendly and fun to be around. They always do such a good job with any nail job you would like. Multiple colors to pick from, multiple different things to get done here & very reasonable pricing! Highly recommend LVY nails!

I just got done with a gel manicure and hot stone pedicure--just what I needed on a Monday. It was awesome!! I have been coming here for several years and am never disappointed. Kim does a fabulous job every time. When she is gone and others take her place, they have done a great job, also. Mary, the owner, is so sweet and wants to make sure everything goes right. Ive been other places, but they dont compare to the quality of service and the prices. They provide complimentary perks that other salons will charge for, or dont include at all, such as hot and cold beverages, additional pedicure products, neck and shoulder massages, and hand massages. I will continue to drive 30 minutes from my house to get my services at Lvy Nails!

Called LVY nails today since Im new to town and for some place local. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and said come on in!I arrived 30 minutes later and they got me right in. My nails look amazing and everyone was very friendly. Ill be back soon.

Thought Id try them out - had gone too long without a pedi. Great location and they fit you in quickly for an appointment. The girls are very professional and are really good at sensing my mood. They did my nails exactly how I wanted them. My nails are sleek, clean, and just perfect! I liked that there were some strong English speakers. You might be finding a real gem.

I always ask for Katie. I like that they use plastic bags in the tubs for pedicures and the more you go the more likely it is that the girls get to know exactly how you want your mani/pedi done. This was the most painful pedicure Ive ever received: the ladys fingernails were so sharp I could feel them through the glove, she was literally stabbing my toes when she was holding them to trim the nails. When she used the file on the bottoms of the feet she didnt even rub any of the bottom rather just sloshed it around in the water and ended up sanding my ankles in the process. Lastly she took a towel in between each toe, with so much force, skin came off. (Picture posted below). To top off the experience, i never seen themSanitize the water bowls in between customers-they just put a new plastic liner over the bowl without sanitizing in between. I would not recommend this place at all!!!

I have been going to this salon for at least a couple of years. Have never had a bad experience. I have manicures and pedicures. Always get compliments on my nails. The facility is always clean. They use special liners in the pedicure tubs that are changed for each customer. I have been there at the end of the day and saw then cleaning and sanitizing each pedicure tub.I hope the woman who came in at christmas time to malign and extort money from the owners, has apologized to them for making a scene at the store during business hours. Shame on you.

My mom and I get pedicures here when ever I am visiting her. The staff are really friendly and do a great job. I highly recommend the spa pedicure with salt scrub and hot towel wrap!

The person who did my nails did not talk to me at all except to insult me once. I was one of the only customers in the salon but she had no problem talking with her coworkers the entire time. The one and only time she talked to me was to ask if I wanted my eyebrows done too, when I said no she said “You NEED them done” and laughed. I then proceed to explain I get them threaded. Not waxed and that I most definitely did not want them done. She then went back to ignoring me. She was the worst.

I had to wait 30 minutes to get a pedicure that was scheduled by appointment. This is the third time this has happened.

The gal that I had was rude and seemed to not enjoy her job. Made for a very unpleasant experience. Place is clean and nice...too bad my relaxing thought of a pedicure and manicure was spoiled.Several others in the area i would try those over this place.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. It started with me wanting a full set. The lady who did my nails was eating food and drinking tea. She used dirty tools; buffer, nail file, and dremel.Within an hour my nails started lifting away from my fingernails. The design I paid extra for was crooked and had bled into the white background.When I went back to ask for a refund they said they dont do that. Im sorry, but if I buy something at a store and it is damaged the store will take it back and give me my money back.The manager offered to fix it by glueing them down (they already had stuff under them so this would be unsanitary in my book). She then offered to redo them and I asked how would I know the tools were clean. Another nail tech said to me they usually dont reuse tools, it should be they NEVER do it! I said I just want my money back.They finally refunded my money, but said I was just an unhappy person. I paid good money for a service that was done poorly! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I used to love the customer service and relaxed atmosphere but unfortunately the last couple visits, my sister and I have been disappointed. Our service providers both seemed quite distracted and rushed even though there were no other customers waiting.

Let me start off by saying the owner is a exceptional nail artist and business owner, with that being said the service that I received from one of her employees katie was terrible! First thing, she did my nails like a 5 year old child, she did them in under 15 minutes like she was rushing and you could tell in her work and when I had asked her to fix her porly executed job she had the audacity to tell me no and made rude comments to me in front of my face and customers. Which was very uncomfortable, embarrassing and horrible customer service! The owner stepped in and offered to fix her work after I had talked to her about the service I was receiving. While she was fixing my nails the lady who had originally done them “Katie” had said that “Maybe she should not come here and get her nails done since this happends every damn time”! Excuse me, maybe if you would do your job correctly the first time there wouldn’t be a issue in the first place! Yes, this has had happen before, but I was willing to give her and the shop a second chance being the forgiving person that I am. Needless to say if I go back I will never get my work done by anyone else but the owner because she is the sweetest person in the world and is very respectful. Not saying there arnt other good nail technicians there, but giving the poor service that I received by Katie, I am afraid to take the chance. This is why I rate LVY nails 1/10!

Will not go back. My daughter and i went there for a mani/pedi. Both os us were ignored the whole time. The ladies barely said anything to us. My daughters water was ice cold. My finger was cut open when they were filing my nails. Way over priced!! Got my eyebrows waxed and was out in the open. When i was asked if i wanted a eyebrow wax she was very rude. I Said sorry that i didnt realize she was talking to me since she hasnt hardly said anything to me. Not what Im use to. I hope others have a better experience than i did.

Overpriced! Website says 37 for mani and pedi. They charged me 40. I treated my friend too. So 80 bucks. Not worth it. Very unprofessional. Will not go back.

I tried this place twice. Disappointed both times. This second time, the nail technician put acetone in my polish to make the bottle go further since it was almost out. It started to spread and leak on my toes. Clearly this color had been thinned out one too many times. She also cut me and when I recoiled she didnt even say anything. Another tech said something to her and finally she slowed down.

They do not honor appointments even though they say you have one; just sat there for 20 minutes and nobody cared. Not going there again

I was really happy with this guys for about a year, then something changed, I noticed new girls, perhaps new management ? I dont know, what I know is that they took the price list down, started overcharging me everytime I would go in, I used to take my girls with me and they would do one quick coat of polish for them for $3 each but the last time they charged me full manicure price for nothing but a coat of polish on a 6 year old plus extra $5 for a flower they ask her, my 6 year old child if she wanted, without letting me know first ....the last 3 times I went on my own the ladies, were rushed, crabby, distracted and careless.I was cut with the cuticule cutter twice and then she cut my toe nail wrong and it started in growing, a problem I had never had before. I decided it was enough the last time I was there, because the girl was having such a bad day, that, she angrily pulled me so hard towards her by my hand, without notice, that I hit the table with my chest and got hurt, so I got up and walked out...I didnt even get an apology ..save yourself the time and bad experince and find a another place
