My go-to cab ride from now on.Update: the driver that picked up my elderly mom today for her appointment decided to turn around, just as they were nearing her doctors office, to pick up a girl who supposedly was another patient. She wasn’t. To risk an elderly person’s health and safety during a pandemic is reprehensible. Not to mention that she DID NOT PAY TO SHARE A CAB. Too bad too because the owner seemed nice. When I called to voice my concern, the man who picked up the call was rude and aggressively obnoxious. Never using this service again

The driver was ok, car was clean but he charged me $23 to go a block and a half! I thought that was pretty crazy ...but it was freezing and I just wanted to get my kids home where it was warm & not have them walking in the cold..

GREAT SERVICE. FAST. The cars are clean and drivers are very nice & professional. Drivers are very safe driving. On time with timed calls. Very good prices for fares. Taxi takes me from City of Poughkeepsie to King George in the Town and it is a enjoyable ride. I definitely recommend Executive Ride. Damion is very nice and courteous.

Not kidding I waited 2+ hours for a taxi they said theyd send TWICE and it never came. I ended up taking another taxi home after that time thinking they were going to end up leaving me stranded in a strange place.Response to Owner #1: I called the same number. The man that answers the phone says executive ride, and when I asked for the adress it was the same address. Im familiar with that area so yes Im sure.

The worst taxi I ever used in my life .He is always late his cars smell like weed and all have check engine lights on with fake inspection stickers ..The heat didnt work at all and all four cars are very UNSAFE!!! He talked down to me like I was his child for asking why he is so late and had five of us packed up in a Nissian Versa and told me its not he best way he saved gas...He is always high and cars are so unsafe .Taking this taxi service you will literally be risking your life he needs to be banned from driving..

We had never been to Poughkeepsie before and needed a ride from the Metro North station to our hotel. After calling other car services in the area that claimed to be 24/7 and getting zero responses on a Sunday, I called Executive Ride and got a friendly response within 2 rings. I highly highly recommend using this service if you are thinking of getting around Poughkeepsie. Damien, our driver, was an excellent driver, friendly, responsible and gave us a very reasonable rate at short notice. Executive Ride is the best! After dropping our rental car off late on a Sunday night, we tried to find a cab to take us to the Poughkeepsie train station--only to find that most local taxi companies were closed. Not only did Damian answer the phone promptly & politely, he was very clear about how long it would take him to get to us (keeping us from getting panicky about our timing for the last train to Grand Central), and arrived in less time than hed estimated, in a clean and comfortable car. The absolute worse taxi service I have ever used. I called 30 minutes before to arrange a specific time for pick up, he started screaming at someone while I was speaking to him. Showed up 10 minutes late, was muttering under his breath about us as if we were the rude ones. Turned his music loud. Couldnt wait to get out of his car. Save yourself trouble and dont use this service.

Terrible. They didnt even show up, said they would be here in 15min, 20 min later called not knowing where we were (pick up was at a hotel) at that point said he was a couple minutes away. Another 10 min passed and I called to cancel then the operater was very rude, said it had not been 30 min and hung up on me.

Ive never been more scared in a vehicle in my life. Our driver was speeding, erratic, ran stop signs, blared music, was texting and making phone calls throughout the trip. At one point he nearly rear ended the vehicle in front of us and when the front seat passenger reacted the driver yelled at him for being a front seat driver and threatened to stuff him in the trunk. Do not trust your life to this company.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE! I called for a cab to pick my child up, I was told 30 mins and was told that would get a call once the cab arrived. 45 minutes later no call, no cab! I called back and dispatcher (I guess or other driver) tells me the cab arrived and left. With the amount of cars that pull up in and honk my child isnt just going to approach a car with a strange young man inside with no visible makings signalling that it is indeed a taxi. Was thinking that would be the reason for the phone call, so when I spoke to the dispatcher not only did h say the ride would be free but that it would only be 15 minutes for another cab to pick her up. 30 minutes passed and no cab! She had been waiting out in the cold so that she wouldnt miss the cab when it pulled up,she had been out in the cold for 1 hour and 15 minutes! Unfortunately when I called other companies the wait would be an additional 30 minutes so I had no choice but to have her wait smh....cab finally came and I had actually considered still paying after the first mix up but to still be that late after I thought the problem had been solved and they were going to make haste to correct the first mistake I wouldnt have paid even if he hadnt waived the fee. But then when my daughter finally gets home the driver didnt even know we werent supposed to be paying which was quoted 2 times by the dispatcher which means he wasnt even communicating with his drivers! Im not taking this out on the driver because he was nice about it and obviously didnt know what was going on and told me it was ok and it was on him, its his problem meaning the dispatcher I guess. This is no way to treat paying customers or children and no way to conduct business. Dont quote a time you cannot make it In that time, or at least show a little courtesy by calling so that I can make other arrangements. Its hard enough that the school fails to provide busses for the kids and some of us who work and cant pick up our kids have to rely on such unprofessional cab companies like this one, I have no idea where all these 5 star rave reviews come from but I can only speak on my personal experience. I will not be a returning customerIn response to the comment to my post, I said several times that the payment was waived and I also stated I had no choice but to wait for you to pick her up! Out of all I said if those 2 things were what you choose to harp on then I was correct in dubbing your services unprofessional! All of what I said was true, how would it benefit me to lie? An apology would suffice which Im sure will not happen, but its fine because if losing customers is OK for you then Im more than happy to oblige.
