Today was my first visit to Valvoline in Portsmouth on Lafayette. I was blown away with how quick they were- I was literally in and out. They took my coupon I had and the technicians working on my car were very friendly. From now on, this will be my new go to place!!

In and out. Super fast service and they were very friendly. It feels like being in a pit crew setting. The price is higher but worth it in my opinion. Use the online coupons or groupon and its under $50.

They significantly overcharged me for an oil change. I suppose it was my fault for falling for it but they persuaded me, telling me my car needed a specific type of oil. It was my first oil change on my new vehicle so I wasnt aware they were ripping me off. I know better now! Highly do not recommend. Went to Prompto for my next oil change and saved $50! Never going to Valvoline again!

Went in today. Service was fast and professional. The new COVID procedures were very good and took as much contact out of the process as possible. Employees wore masks and maintained distance when possible. Would recommend for sure.

They are quick, but they are expensive. I could get a part synthetic oil change from my mechanic for $50 or less, they charge me $70. I told them nothing but an oil change please, and they didnt pester me with other offers like Ive had done before. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

60$ for an oil change? are you kidding me? I brought my own oil and filter.. without that its 140$ they told mes... ridiculous!!! would not recommend... dont get ripped off go somewhere else

Ive used Valvoline for oil changes for several years. I like the opportunity to stay in the car while its being serviced.I tried Jiffy Lube once and sat in the waiting room. The oil change took longer and I found their customer service lackluster.

I normally dont post reviews but I have been using them for several years now. Every experience has been good if not great. The manager is very attentive and service is methodical and quick. A++

The workers were courteous and friendly and explained each step they took. When one removed my glove compartment I was surprised since I had never had that done before. It was to get a filter out from behind it and the filter was just bursting with maple tree seed pods. Just before the oil change was through I was shown the filter and of course I could see it needed replacing but there was no pressure to buy another, just the option. I had gone to this station with a relative previously and was impressed with the service, which is why I decided to choose it for myself ... and Im glad I did.

My husband arrived at 9am (sign says open 9-5) and no one was there. He waited until 10 but no one ever showed up. He drove all the way out there for nothing.

Im disappointed not in their service but in their oil change pricing for a 6 cylinder passenger vehicle with synthetic oil. It runs almost $45 more than the Chevy dealership. Will not be back with those prices.

I stopped by on three occasions in the last two weeks and waited, and waited and waited. Nobody came out to help, I just sat in my car, and each time after 10 minutes I drove off. Its really weird. Every other Valvoline or oil change has somebody welcome you within seconds when you arrive but here they completely ignore you. They promise a 15-minute oil change but I cant seem get any service in that time. I give up.

We have been going her for a while but we will not return. Brought car in for inspection they said come back 10am tomorrow. I did, waited over 2 hours then they said they could not do the inspection. Wasted 2 hours waiting for nothing. Will not go back we will bring our 3 cars to another oil change place.

The last oil change on my truck was done at Valvoline Portsmouth, NH and I decided to do this one myself. Got the oil and filter and had at it. The oil plug was torqued in so tight I could not remove the plug with an 18 breaker bar and socket. I tried a ratchet/socket with foot pressure on it. No go. To me putting that much torque on a small oil plug is borderline criminal and it is my last visit to Valvoline.

Waited 20 minutes for an oil change. Then was told we were unable to get one bc they couldnt open the hood. They only tried for at most 30 seconds and claimed they didnt want to damage the car. Wouldnt let me try in their shop. Got the car outside and 10 seconds later the hood was open. When we drove around we were asked to wait another 15-20 minutes bc this was a first come first server business and someone else was just about to pull in. Will never be coming back with any of mine or my girlfriends cars here ever again and waste our time. Stick to a dealer, theyre cheaper and wont give up after 30 seconds.
