My stylist was very pleasant. Listened to what I wanted. Went over everything to make sure we were on the same page. I had toner and a haircut which I love both. Had gel manicure and my toenails cut,filed and polished. I was very happy and let Julia know. Left her a good tip and made another appointment 😊

Im new to the Seacoast and was looking for a stylist to touch up my highlights prior to my baby shower. I selected another salon and the stylist there somehow turned my hair into shades of gray, brown, and orange. Ive never experienced anything like it (Im a bright blonde!). I had just one day until my baby shower and called Wink Salon to see if someone there could help me. When I explained my situation, Katie very kindly agreed to extend her Friday and squeeze me into her schedule. I cannot recommend Katie highly enough! She spent FOUR hours fixing the damage and restoring me to happy, blonde highlights. She took great care with every detail, and I am just so happy that a bad situation led me to a wonderful stylist. Thank you, Katie, for saving me from looking awful at my baby shower! You worked your magic and I am already looking forward to my next appointment with you.

I was going to Julia well she was in school before she started at Wink Salon and now support her at Wink Salon. She always has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied with my hair. I never leave disappointed and with such a smile on my face because I know my hair is in very good hands every time I go to her!

Julia is the best!! I have never left her chair disappointed or dissatisfied and she always does a beautiful job on my hair and others! She always takes into consideration the integrity of my hair and how to prevent damage, and is always so excited to work on my hair. I sat in Tori’s chair. My barber shop I usually go to was closed for the day and I needed a cut ASAP! I came in and told her exactly how I liked my hair, and wouldn’t you know, she gave me a great cut! 10/10 service!

I went in for full highlights only, no cut or styling.Stylist seemed very sweet. I explained I wanted very light dramatic blonde highlights and pointed to her very blonde coworker as an example. I added that I prefer a cooler light blonde, not as gold as her coworker, because I want my grey hairs to blend as they come in.I requested she use 30 & 40 volume developer or my hair wont lift enough, as I had dyed my roots at home a week prior with a dark ash blonde product and I have resistant hair.I came out with dark blonde hair, the same as when I came in. She must have put a dark blonde toner on after she washed the bleach out.I told her it was pretty dark and it was obvious to the stylist I wasnt pleased with the color. Stylist said that since I asked for cool blonde highlights instead of gold tones that meant I wanted a darker ash color.She offered to put a gold glaze on and I declined, as that wasnt going to remove the dark toner color out of my hair, only add gold tones. I said no worries, Ill go to the store and buy some bleach and fix it myself. She said ok.I paid her the $160.00 she charged me, plus tip and left.Hopefully with more experience and training she will improve her skill set and knowledge of bleach, color and toners.In the meantime I will begin stripping my hair of this dark color.

Angela and Ellie are great. About 6 moths ago I went in to see Angela via a referral after a botched balayage. Long story short, I have a head of orange hair and eyes filled with tears. Angela scheduled me within two days of speaking with her and agreed to meet with me. After a consultation, she warned me that hair dye would touch my hair for at least 6 months. This is something I truly admired. Wink Salon cares more about your hair than they do the money in your pocket-- Thats hard to come by.I went back twice within the next two months for a glaze and trim and both results were phenomenal. Here we are 6 months later and I just couldnt handle the upkeep of my now blonde hair. I decided to go darker and I couldnt be happier. (and guess what, my cuticle can withstand a flat iron again!) I will never go to another salon again. Wink is a bit expensive, but when it comes to your hair you shouldnt think twice about it. These girls will give you your moneys worth and more! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ellie is amazing!! I HIGHLY recommend this salon!! Ellie has been my stylist for over a year now. She is excellent at balayages, glazes, and blowouts!! She is definitely the best of the best. Every time I have an appointment with Ellie my hair looks phenomenal!!

Angela is always so incredibly accommodating and truly cares about her customers. She has risen to the occasion (and beyond) for ensuring all covid safety precautions are followed. I found Wink and Angela after doing tons of research when I moved to Portsmouth. I was very nervous to switch stylists after 15 years with my previous stylist. Angela listened to what I wanted and quelled all of my fears. She did an amazing job with my cut and color and I will be going back again and again!

Ellie is the best! Everytime she does my hair, I get so many compliments even weeks afterwards! Shes a great artist and always helps you get the look you want!

Made a spa day here while away for the weekend. It was easy to do online. Pricing was reasonable. The experience was both personal and professional. The staff was very pleasant. I left there very satisfied. Only thing was my GPS brought me to the back of the plaza

Wink Salon is excellent in many aspects ! All of the staff is very friendly and easy going while still maintaining a good level of professionalism. Ive never walked in without getting a smile and a hello from at least 3 people! The Salon is always extremely clean and inviting. Im always taken on-time for my appointment, I think the longest I had to wait once was about 5 minutes past my scheduled time, but normally Im taken right on time or a few minutes early. Always a very good haircut and great experience. Never had a manicure but my Mother goes there as well and says the manicure/pedicure is excellent as well.

Everything at wink is amazing! All the staff is always so nice to everyone. They do an amazing job on everything and give the best blowouts Ive ever had.

Hello, I am a long standing client of Marias. She is a fabulous aesthetician and an asset to your Salon. I have also referred many people to her as I am appreciative of her skill, warmth and professionalism. I was very uncomfortable with an experience that occured at your salon last evening. I am both a lover of dogs and of children. I have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old. That being said I was not pleasantly surprised to enter your salon to the piercing shrieks of a 2 yr old child chasing a puppy. Her mother watched on with no awareness of the loud and unpleasant environment her child was creating. It felt like entering a zoo. There was no pleasant and calming environment. I would like to say that I could ignore it but that was not possible. There was no indoor voice being used or parental limits to this bad behaviour being set. I suffered through the shrieks as I waited for my appt. After several minutes of continuous shrieking I approached the staff at the desk and asked that they encourage the mother to quiet her child. Their response did not include any apology for my discomfort. I was told that the child was 2. I responded that I had a 2 yr old and this was not acceptable behaviour. They informed me that the mother and child would be leaving soon. So much for customer service. I would have cancelled my appt if not for my respect and admiration of Maria. Do not kid yourself into thinking that I was the only customer upset and bothered by this shrieking noise. No attempt to quiet or set limits on this behaviour were made at any point. Several more moments of shrieking behavior continued. The mother ended up alone near me and I requested that she quiet her child. She asked if I would like them to leave and yes, I did respond that it would be nice if she did. My expectation would be that your staff would have adressed this issue and be courteous to my request . Not impressed and quite frankly I would not refer any more friends to your salon.
